Located in quiet area, very clean. in walking distance of all amenities including under ground tube station which is paramount to getting around London.
Comfortable beds, short proximity to Notting hill, the possibility to leave luggage.
Shared iron, no refrigaretor, dirty windows, old dirty bathroom, dirty carpet.
Location Cleanliness Good size room
Wifi was free and strong once it did connect. Sometimes it would take up to 30 minutes to connect.
Nice comfortable hotel. Great location. reasonably priced
Wifi was impossible to use.
Room Bed Location ten minutes walk to the Carnival
Check out at 11 on the bank holiday Monday
Location was great
Shower was not able to be stood up in. Ceiling was slanted & made showering difficult. Some of the desk staff were not helpful
Everything we needed for a 3 night stay, a lift, comfy bed, good shower, tv and wifi.
Creaking floorboards from room above!
Location Room was changed upon my request
Restaurant very small and breakfast is expensive
Room was very small. It would have been better if they reduced the amount of furniture so you could move better
very thin walls made of plasterboard between rooms
Buzz of sub station outside Grubby bathroom although main items clean.
Hotel was well located and the room was clean and tidy.
Needs air conditioning particularly in the breakfast room.
Room size (to small)...
smart clean reception area, comfy beds and good facilities in room
room was rather small
The staff at this hotel was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is in a good location with easy access to two tube stations.
The room was cramped in terms of number of beds for the area involved. I felt the hotel was expensive for what we received but this may also just be a feature of London rather than the hotel specifically.
It was fairly clean.
Room tiny (and I am petite) literally couldn't wall into room with my small bag without turning sideways. Lethal step (unmarked) across bathroom floor. Room right next to lift which was going till 2.30am beyond. Loud shouty folk in rooms opposite they didn't stop all night. Complained to staff (who were pleasant bit ineffective) who said hotel fully booked cannot move you.. okay... but refuse to compensate me AT ALL! Robbery. Never stay again. Bitterly disappointed.
The location is very convenient.
Very nice location. but the room they gave us was downstairs, practically in the basement of the bullring. Our room window faced the front of the street at "people-walking" height, which means we could catch all noise from people walking on the street. Also, the hotel garbage was literally in front of our window, so that we had to ask every dy to move them somewhere else, otherwise by opening the window the trash smell could easily enter the room. The room didn't have air conditioner, and it was very hot during our staying. We had just blankets (comforters) and no single sheets that we had to ask twice to have instead. The bathroom was tiny with a very low ceiling, no shower, just a short shower-faucet in the little tube where you couldn't even stand-up because of the low ceiling (2-3 feet?) The sink was broken and pretty dirty at our arrival. The door in the bathroom was poorely secured and anyone from the street could have come through that door... oh, yes, also that door had a huge gap at the bottom from where any kind of bug could have easily crawl under, and the door brings you right in the same place where the trash was kept. The first night we had a group of drunk people talking and laughing all night in from of our window, and no one of the hotel did anything to let them stop. Very bad experience, most of all of the extremely high price asked.
Good location, clean rooms, competent staff.
Rooms are small...but it's London. Staff were not unfriendly, but not terribly engaged. But all needs were adequately met.
good location, easy access to underground, quiet neighborhood
very small rooms
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. We believe we got a reasonable deal. Being close to underground and shops was really convenient.
View from ground floor room wasn't good. But we only slept there so wasn't a problem.
the Princess Square Hotel was close to the tube at Bayswater with lots of restaurants nearby. The room on the smallish side but well appointed. The staff were great and friendly. Close to Kensington Palace, Buckingham Palace and eay to get to anywhere.
No air conditioning. Very hot in the room but they did have a fan. They use doonas in summer and would have preferred an extra sheet as it was far too hot for a doona.
Friendly staff, good location.
Room was a bit noisy
The room is too small.
