Score from 75 reviews Superb
Lovely room, quiet even though it was above the bar. (Room 5). Hotel in a great location right in the middle of the Square in Cartmel.
WiFi wouldn't connect. No view from any windows.
Central Location.Interesting decor
Attic room with low sloping ceilings, same in bathroom.Quirky but impracticable.Hot and stuffy, had to crawl to open window.Poor provision of towels and toiletries.Expected better for £144.
Very clean Staff friendly and helpful Breakfast lovely
A lovely place to stay in the village of Cartmel
excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, spotless and very comfortable accommodation.
No mobile signal in the village (not hotel's fault) but no phone in the room. However, happy to let you call from reception
Excellent location, nice decor, very helpful staff.
Wifi wasn't working properly
Perfect location - the whole experience at the Priory - fab breakfast...
Really good location in the village. Beautifully/tastefully decorated, modern rooms. Nice little bar. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Efficient service. Parking.
Room was a little bit small (and especially bathroom).
Room was very clean, good bathroom too looked as if it had just been decorated.
not much really, parking was a problem initially as we arrived in the middle of Cartmel Show
Wi-fi for free
Bedroom and bathroom were stylish and generally comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Staff friendly and helpful.
The bedroom was too warm at night. It was summer and the windows are quite small so would benefit from some aircon.
The welcome at The Priory Inn was good. The restaurant offered well cooked but fairly basic food. The dining room was nicely and newly decorated but had no atmosphere and only one other table was occupied on a Friday evening!
The bedroom was very nice but overlooked the central square. The square is very pretty but includes two public houses one of which had noisy revelers out side until the early hours. I had a fairly basic breakfast but again was a solitary person in the dining room. Again it was very lacking in interest and felt cold and uncomfortable eating breakfast in splendid isolation The shower room in the bedroom was very cramped..
Friendliness of the staff and the cosy ambience. Breakfasts lovely too.
Nothing, we will go back
Great room decor
Loft room head height
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast and comfortable room.
Size of bedroom. Size of shower room/toilet. Overall very cramped.
