A wonderful welcome from the lovely owners and a cozy room with a comfy bed and an awesome breakfast each day! Lots of hills, but that is whitby and not the fault of the hotel at all!

The guest hose is pretty close to the Whitby station, a 10 minutes walk away. The lady owner and her daughters were very nice, jolly and cordial. The room I was staying was a single room. Though a bit too small, but was enough for a single person to stay. Was clean and had a nice bed. The guest house had an wi-fi and the signal strength was decent. The breakfast is served only between 8.30 to 9 and I missed it most of the days (well, missing it was a problem from my end as I was a late riser, so no complains as such). The approaching road from the station to the guest hose is bit steep. So, elderly people (not having a car), might find it bit difficult to walk.

Very friendly people nothing too much trouble very helpful. Atmosphere when walking in was very warm and inviting. Car parking was a small issue but we managed to park on a side road round the back of the building.

the hospitality of the family in general, the mother and daughter performing their talents as the gurly wurlys, and as mentioned by other people, the music themed breakfast room. would certainly go back.

The owners were lovely, accommodating people, and the room and food were brilliant. Bit too far out of the town, but wouldn't be a problem for healthy young people

Room was large, friendly and very helpful staff. Bed was very comfy!! Due to a cancellation I was moved to a larger room free of charge. Nothing really, slight lack of parking, but due to style of hotel couldn't realistically had more! Staff we're very helpful in helping my friends find somewhere for them to park!

No frills. A basic guest house where most importantly everything worked and everything was clean. Full English Breakfast was absolutely fine. Quite a quiet area yet the centre of Whitby within easy walking distance. Quite tired decor wise but not in a way that things were falling part.
