Purbeck House Hotel was once a convent. The 38 bedrooms are divided between the main house, constructed in 1875, and the newly-built Louisa Lodge. All of the bedrooms are en suite and some have sea or garden views.

During your stay you can explore the wonderful surroundings, including the seafront on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast (300 yards) and the bustling centre of Bournemouth (15 miles).

Alternatively, explore the 47 mile Purbeck Cycleway with its spectacular views. The bay is popular for a variety of water-sports and is widely recognised as being an excellent base for diving. The famous Monkey World is only 20 minutes’ drive from Swanage.

By Car:
From Wareham:
- Follow the A351 to Corfe Castle and then to Swanage Town Centre.
- This road becomes Victoria Avenue.
- Follow it towards the sea front and then, 50 yards before you get to the sea, turn right at the traffic lights.
- Turn left at the roundabout into Station Road.
- Follow the one way system round before turning left into the High Street after the White Swan Public House.
- Purbeck House Hotel is 100 yards on the left.
