This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many. I felt like it was a half way house. My room was cold, wind whistling through the windows, there were lots of Eastern European men in tracksuit bottoms walking through the lounge on mobile phones talking to the ladies that run it. I was there with 2 small children and I felt so unsafe that I barracaded us in with a table. The room was cold and the curtains in the bathroom which looked onto the main road were transparent. The curtains in the room when pulled did not fit and there was space again looking onto the main road. The plugs were hanging off the wall exposing bare wire and this was a family room!!. There was tea and no milk and the tv in the lounge didnt work. The car park was so small that the ladies running it asked us to leave our car keys so that they could keep moving our car, which we did not do, the lady then said that we could trust her, we still didnt leave our keys. This hotel should be taken off the list of airport hotels and would be struck off if it was a halfway house for the homeless and people who have recently come out of prison. It was a really unpleasant experience.

Very close to Manchester airport. Nice home like place. Staff was good. Too noisy. I do not think double glazed windows work as they should. U can hear the aircraft loud and clear in the middle of night.

The location was excellent: close to the airport, close to Mr Darcy at Lyme Park. The staff were not as engaged with the guests as I expected. Breakfast was very basic: made-up orange juice, packet cereals, no fruit, white toast, few spreads. We were lucky enough to have brought our own bananas and honey.

Convenience to airport and parks One of the staff members seemed uninterested in serving the customer... like she really didn't like her job at all.

It was cheap Room was cold on arrival,no double glazing so the broken guttering gushing all night from heavy rainfall was like it was in the room. Did warm up eventually. The twin room looked nothing like any of the photos as shown on the website.

It was good value for money. It is used mainly by people who were working in the area and needed somewhere reasonable and homely to stay. It was perfect for that. They just need to clean behind the beds!

I am returning in a few weeks when I take my visitor back to the airport. The hotel could have known that food was available 10-15 mins walk away - I had to ask at the nearby golf club. While I understand the reasons, having the door locked between whatever hours was an inconvenience - I was discovered sitting on the doorstep eating a biscuit. But the staff immediately asked me in and took my bag.

Had character, close to the airport and value for money. Clean and tidy. Transfer to the airport from hotel only £8. Although hand soap (dispenser) available we would have liked some shower/hair shampoo. (Small point).

A spacious and conveniently planned family room, very good facilities. App parts of the hotel we have seen were spotless clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. We used this hotel as an overnight stop before morning flight so we have selected it for its location (5 minuted drive to Terminal 1 of the Manchester airport and two gas filling stations en route to car return). The windows of our room overlooked the road, so it was somewhat noisy.

The staff at the hotel is really polite and friendly, and the place is considerably clean too. It is a bit far from the Manchester airport and therefore you will need to take a cab to the hotel which will cost about gbp 10-13 (alternatively you can request for airport transfer through the hotel which cost only gbp 8)

Fantastic location in a residential place. Good staff members to support. Felt like home as the hotel looks like a 10 bedroom bungalow. Non smoking rooms. I stayed for 5 days and ended up with cold water bath ( imagine the temp is 15 celcius ).
