Very friendly staff in a traditional family run hotel The bathroom was a little scruffy, taps leaked but it didn't really detract from the pleasent stay and I thought it was good value for money |

the staff were very friendly; comfortable and charming room and hotel; convenient the shower was a little dirty, but not too bad...and the rest of the place was very clean; mostly it seemed like just the effects of time; |

Old building with bags of character, decorated 'cottage style'. Had attic room with sloping ceiling and wooden beam (not so good if you're very tall!). Beautiful semi-rural setting. Continental breakfast - although basic - was complimentary which I didn't expect. My taxi into Wilmslow didn't turn up so, for a small petrol fee, the owner drove me there himself! Presumably due to age of hotel (17th century) there was some damp on the wall and peeling paper. Staircase to second floor is very narrow so if you have walking difficulties ask for lower floor. I was at the back of hotel but suspect front rooms could get a fair bit of traffic noise |

Good Breakfast Price OK. 15 Mins walk to Rail Station Free wireless access Low levels of Maintenance, Not easy without car, 1st Breakfast 8am not early enough if going to work. Some aircarft noise No chairs in bedroom, Timed breakfast could be a problem if you couldnt get required slot |

The people running the hotel were very polite and friendly. Tea in the room, TV, shower, breakfast all adequate It was a bit noisy on the road side, and the room was too dark to read properly. |

I was very stressed when I arrived at the hotel and my credit cards kept declining the owner said to done not worry you stay the night and sort your bill out in the morning .I tell phoned my friend and she paid the bill the next morning ,I was due to meet my boyfriend at Manchester Airport and he was going to pay for the bill but he did catch his plane.I had toast and a cup of tea which was included in the price . |

The hotel was close to the airport and was in a quiet neighborhood. The lady that does the cooking was not present the night I checked in so there was no dinner provided. If you drive with a car this is not a problem but on foot there were no restaurants within walking distance. Other than that I loved the place and would stay there again. |

Very helpful, friendly hostess. Able to get evening meal - a real bonus after a long day travelling and I really couldn't face going out! Taxi booked by hotel for the morning to take us to the airport. Couldn't have been more helpful! Very convenient for the airport - 10 - 15 mins in a taxi. |

It was just perfect to our purposes; nice, clean, cheap, customer friendly, all in all the best. The flight was due quite early but nevertheless we managed to get a nice continental type breakfast and that was compilmentary! Excellent! |
