Score from 9 reviews Superb
The hotel was nice for the price, but I was on business trip and had to work sometimes in my room and the desk (if you can call the little table a desk) was too small and the chair cold and uncomfortable. What was also weird that I could not put my breakfast on my room bill. I had to pay separate every day.
it was great , good location, staff , food , service loved it and especially it's funky look.
Having to pay cash for cabs and not being able to use card ... Was a bit of a prob
clean, good internet, no fuss service, quite room, comfy bed
fan heater a bit loud so snugged up in my quilt to keep warm
Everything. Atmosphere. Staff. Quirky decor of the rooms. Comfy and big bed. Spotless rooms. Location 20 mins from Canary Wharf, shore ditch, Liverpool street. Very central. Would defo stay again.
If I could draw a picture of a tumble weed here I would!! Absolutely nothing I didn't like.
- Very close to the tube station - Very kind staff - Clean and confortable
Nothing in particular to mention
Design & focus on essentials is great, staff very friendly and helpful. Good value for very moderate money. Enjoyed my stay very much.
There's just a minor flaw in the cube concept: isolation of water pipes doesn't always cope with noise. If guests above take a shower you might think it's raining outside.
There's nothing not to like about this hotel!
cool place. amazing breakfast - (though not included)
The room was big with a very comfortable bed , close to the tube , shops and restaurants . Very nice design and every floor has very good quality tea and coffee for free .
It would have been better to have tea and coffee facilities in the room but in saying that its not far to the nearest tea or coffee point.
everything a hotelroom needs in a small space.
some rooms don't have a window ! Brown water in stead of coffee at breakfast
fun quirky room good wifi dress up station in reception!
no tea or coffee making facilities in room bar not open 24 hours
Wifi, clean room, facilities
I left something behind in the hotel and I could not call anyone. When things go wrong there is little phone support
Unique decor, super clean and very comfy. Two minutes from Aldgate East tube. A great find!
Good hotel, quiet, no fuss, excellent location. Unusual decor but good change from usual bland hotels. Will stay there again.
Should have been better lightening in the bathroom. Had to sit by the window to put make up on, even at daytime...

Look and feel Of the hotel
No kettle or ability to make a drink in the room No breakfast available
Location was perfect for my late night working in Leadenhall Street and for the City of London district in general. Secure parking was excellent and very convenient.
I had to find breakfast outside of the hotel but the catering facility was near to being handed over. Coffee that was offered on the stairs was cold but this was later in the afternoon.
Modernity Mood of the crew Close to a Metro Station
Little cold (warm temperature hard to reach with air conditioned)
Friendly staff who were efficient The most comfortable bed, pillows & duvet Decor was nice - something different The rain shower The room
Clean trendy rooms with funky wallpaper feature
No food at all which is reflected in the price and no facility to make tea or coffee in the room. Even a bottle of water would have been appreciated.
- Staff above all! Excellent and very helpful. - Good location close to tube Aldgate East and Aldgate. Good area for eating out near by.
- The rooms are heated through air conditioning and the room we got was too big for the air conditioning to heat in a timely manner. We were changed to another room where the situation improved quite a bit, but still the heating system is far from perfect (would prefer central heating). - Room sound isolation was good regarding external noise, but weak for other rooms and the corridor. Could hear every-time a neighbour would open/close a door and when talking. - No possibility of breakfast or any other meals since they are renovating that area.
The lounge was great - was in London for a 5 day course and the space was great for doing some revision in the evenings. Rooms are spacious and fuss free Quirky hotel and nice staff The lounge was being renovated at the time so breakfast wasn't available but the staff put on a free glass of wine and wine and cheese to make up for it, which was appreciated
My room was really cold and didn't feel that the air conditioning/heating unit was that effective for the size of the room. My room was an 'accessible' room which was fine but couldn't help but feel that it wouldn't actually be that great for wheelchair users or people with limited mobility. The space around the bed was quite tight so you'd only be able to get in on one side and the toilet was that close to the sink that one leg was right underneath and the bar on the other side wouldn't stay up so was a bit tight for a mobile person let alone a wheel chair user!
The hotel really focusses on the things that matter when you're on a citytrip like londen: excellent free wifi, superb bed (size & comfort), great shower & towels Location is pretty good as well: direct underground connection to St Pancreas and only 100m away for the Aldgate East (Hammersmith & City line)
The products used for cleaning left a pretty strong disinfectant smell (very minor issue!)
funny room, good shower
the bed is sweating due to kind of plastic matras, room had no windows and the noise of the air diffuser was so loud that it woke me up the entire night.
