Staff very polite and friendly room and bathroom were very clean and tidy, room was also cleaned on a daily basis fresh towel etc. having secure parking is also a plus for this hotel. I would stay here again.
Water wasn't very hot, after a long day was very disappointing to have a cold shower it was cold in the morning also and then again in the evening. Coffee on the landing although is a lovely idea was very strong and bitter ! We could also of done with another pillow each.
the design is great, the staff are nice, every night they pull out whine in the very cool lobby. Great cool location! recommended.
the rooms are noisy, can hear everything on the street, so be prepared to wale up early
Location, near Aldgate east tube station, view to the park, good wifi, complementary coffee during the day/wine at night in the dinning room
Extremely Small room, very expensive for what they offer: just the basics, no closet/drawer/chair/space to open and store two hand luggages, not included breakfast
Style, comfort and an ethical brand looking to minimise it's environmental impact and a great design ethos to boot. I was seriously impressed. The space was incredibly well thought out - even a place for your iphone to rest at night. Masses of room in the shower/toilet area and a huge bed. What more could I ask for? Nothing really, I needed to stay in town for a party as oppose to home out the end of the tube line - I love that part of London - my brother worked in the adjacent street way back in the 60s - so I know the area really well. And at night it is a different world..from the deeply hip Shoreditch with its late night street food markets through to the cafes of the Lane with people spilling out onto the pavement. Then on a Sunday early - get out while the markets are setting up - head up for a bagel. That's what the East End is for and that's why Qbic fits the bil so nicely
Location, unusual room, free tea and coffee.
Great and friendly welcome. Even though the bar was undergoing refurbishment complimentary drinks were provided. All in all a good choice.
Amabilidad, servicio, facilidades
Good location, pleasent staff, unique style rooms, excellant wifi, lovely shower.
Had a room with no windows, so very disorientating, also didn't like that you could only get out of the double bed on one side- lots of climbing over each other. Also would've like tea & coffee in the room
great location stylish comfy beds
Leaving the room to get a cuppa in the morning (no kettle) a dirty - seemingly recycled - towel
I chose Qbic because of its East End location but I got so much more. I loved its kitchy decor and all the fun "words for the day" posted on clipboards in the elevators. The room was exactly as described with a cozy comfortable bed with its built-in TV, electric outlets for my charger, lights switches. Cool wi-fi room card. Great energy saving features. Qbic became part of my excellent trip, not just a place to sleep. Best part of the location is its access to London's street art. I saw 2 Banksy's and so much more.
Wifi was poor!!!
Enjoyed my stay very much, likely to come again!
No hotel bar with barkeeper etc., just vending machines.
Very funky great for young people decoration very imaginative.
No wardrobe. No kitchen, although I understand one is in the process of being built.
Great value for money, I would happily stay here again.
Loved the decor and the location was excellent for city workers.
Warm welcome Quirky style Clean Comfy bed and lovely white cotton sheets. Great lighting Plenty of hot water Free good coffee and tea. Close to underground
Our room had no window which was fine as that is what I booked, but the fan was quite loud through the night.
Space Facilities Staff TV/wifi
Found it slightly inconvenient that couldn't make tea in room.
The decoration is pretty cool
I didn't pay much attention to the room name and didn't realize I was booking a room with no windows
The bed and the very helpfull staff.
The staff were fantastic and on the ball, tea on tap, the breakfast was just enough to start my day and a great price. Wi-fi was fast with no dropout so i could work (i was exhibiting at Kinetica in Brick Lane). Loved the design of the furniture. I stayed in Stark's Hudson Hotel in New York and it is not a patch on the QBIC. I shall return.
A boutique hotel that delivers on service and comfort , we were with a group of eight friends on a city visit and staff were very friendly and helpful they really made a difference to our holiday
Really funky modern vibe .Clean and comfortable and went down well with teenage daughter.really liked access to tea and coffee and the breakfast was value for money .
I couldn't make the hair dryer stretch to a mirror so couldn't blow my hair. Suggest you put another full length mirror just outside bathroom for this purpose.
General ambience was very nice and relaxing; reception desk polite young people, helpful and 24/7 present; free coffee/tea available 24/7. We particularly liked the spacious general breakfast room. Breakfast was ok. (Check if it is included in the room price!)
Some weird design details (which we didn't mind too much but should be mentioned): - closed bathroom/toilet door leaves 5 cm space open on both sides; - shower has no soap bar holder at arm's height: soap bottle is on the floor, which means having to bend over to grab it (which could be difficult for people with back/leg problems); - room has a table but only one chair; - windowless rooms have airco noise all night; - beds and blankets are excellent quality but did leave us sweating.
Loved the rooms very unique
Hotel needs a restaurant and a better breakfast
Staff were friendly, location was good for our business trip, room was clean and tidy no complaints what so ever.
