Really funky modern vibe .Clean and comfortable and went down well with teenage daughter.really liked access to tea and coffee and the breakfast was value for money .
I couldn't make the hair dryer stretch to a mirror so couldn't blow my hair. Suggest you put another full length mirror just outside bathroom for this purpose.
General ambience was very nice and relaxing; reception desk polite young people, helpful and 24/7 present; free coffee/tea available 24/7. We particularly liked the spacious general breakfast room. Breakfast was ok. (Check if it is included in the room price!)
Some weird design details (which we didn't mind too much but should be mentioned): - closed bathroom/toilet door leaves 5 cm space open on both sides; - shower has no soap bar holder at arm's height: soap bottle is on the floor, which means having to bend over to grab it (which could be difficult for people with back/leg problems); - room has a table but only one chair; - windowless rooms have airco noise all night; - beds and blankets are excellent quality but did leave us sweating.
Loved the rooms very unique
Hotel needs a restaurant and a better breakfast
Big clean bathroom. Comfortable. Big TV. Unique massive dog picture.
staff are always helpful
said they would email VAT reciept but have not seen it No exercise facitlities
Everything - Fab little hotel, friendly staff and very near brick lane/the city and Aldgate East underground where you can go anywhere in central London in a matter of minutes. Bed was amazing, room tidy, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. Stay here if you go to London
Very relaxed atmosphere.
Free coffee, cheap breakfast, free wifi, unusual design but loved it.
location was good, close to subway, and free coffee on each floor.
For some strange reason the bathroom has large windows on both of door. so no point in closing door, because then window provides better view of person using washroom. Think open toilet shower situation
Simple check-in cheek-out process
The room was spacious for London. The staff were exceptionly helpful, cheerful and efficient. We loved the healthy choices for breakfast.Liked the "green" initiatives.Would definately return.
Great staff throughout the hotel. Relaxed but clearly well trained and 'On it'
Facilities cleanliness friendlyness of staff
Disinfectant smell in room
Very clean room. Good bed
Odd drain(?) smell in the room. Had to leave window open to clear.
Quirky and whacky but really convenient, friendly and simple. No frills but really slick. Out does some of those "express" chains hands down
Didn't get a receipt for my stay - just strange, not negative. Would have liked some tea / coffee making facilities in the room
- Fastest check-in/check-out - Excellent toilet - Free coffee for each floor - Free WiFi - Hotel is simple and has its unique artistic design identity. - Staff are nice in welcome and assistance - Rest area in ground floor is very nice to relax, drink coffee, or work - Nearby underground station, strait to Heathrow airport, just one transit in South Kensington station
- Rooms do not have telephone service - Rooms do not have good seating. - No in-room iron and cloth shelves - No safe box - Breakfast is very simple, no hot food. - No laundary service
Good location, nice free coffee, clean, with lift.
One double bed instead of two single beds.
Loved the decor
A genuine attempt to provide a new concept to hotels while not charging an exorbitant amount. The staff were friendly and the decor original to say the least. Appreciated the eco-friendly approach while the wittiness of the hotel's signs and notices showed that the management don't take themselves too seriously.
The publicity promises soundless rooms. Unfortunately the soundlessness doesn't include water rushing down the pipes every time somebody in a room above used the bathroom. Obviously this was not an infrequent occurrence and was loud enough to wake you up. Unfortunate when so much attention had been given to detail otherwise. Also the drains were a little smelly which is possible, I suppose when you place a "cubi" in premises which are not new.
I had a uniquely amazing experience here.
Excelent location. Two blocks from Brick Lane Street, one from the subway (Aldgate East station). The breakfast lounge is open as to let you bring food and eat there at any moment. We enjoyed the hotel very much.
Clean, convenient and hip!
No door on bathroom.
good wireless good location clean
NO wardrobe!! where to hang my shirts?? rooms are very small toilet glass doors no proteins at breakfast
Very comfy superking size bed (despite only 2 pillows). Very friendly staff Lots of interesting things to look at in the lobby area. Large room Very clean and modern Ecofriendly Delicious complimentary real coffee (available downstairs).
The sliding toilet door didn't close properly, let alone lock - meaning I wouldn't come here with my partner for a romantic weekend! The toilet is basically in the bedroom. Smells and noises galore! No room service or food served at night. Not enough pillows. Got ripped off by their taxi driver (paid double what it should have been).
