good wireless good location clean
NO wardrobe!! where to hang my shirts?? rooms are very small toilet glass doors no proteins at breakfast
The toilet is in the room, being not separated from the room. There is no privacy. It flushes everywhere except what it should flush. "Modern" interior is dysfunctional and does not give a sense of comfort. Very disappointing. Never again. Not for that price.
nice lobby and kind staff helping to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
the lack of comfort
It was clean, comfy, modern. Free tea/coffee in the lobby was great.
Lack of electrical outlets in the rooms, lack of towel rails for wet towels too.
Cleanliness, friendliness, helpfulness. It was very laid back and calm. It wasn't run like a military operation but staff were always on hand to sort out any problems. Very close to public transport. Rooms were very clean and had everything you require. Beds were clean and comfortable. Toilet was spotless with a good shower. I very much liked the radical décor. of the hotel, very young and modern looking. Excellent stay.
The only worry I have is the hotel's location in Aldgate. It's not the kind of area for a woman to be walking alone at night. The park across from the hotel entrance should also be avoided for any young ladies walking back late at night. If you keep your wits about you, you'll be fine.
Location (1 minute walk from Aldgate subway station) Facilities Great value for money
modern look,free coffee,check in/check out
you can hear other people from other rooms taking a shower/walking .maid coming at 9am, to tell me that today is your checkout date.
Comfortable beds. Spacious room for price. Nice shower
Needed more hangers. Nowhere to put clothes. No furniture other than bed.
We loved the arty feel and look of the hotel, especially the rooms. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception area and lounge were cool and trendy but with an oh so relaxed atmosphere. A unique hotel, we loved it.
The park just outside is a no go area after 10pm and if you weren't used to East London it may seem a little rough. However, it will get better I feel. It's a minor problem.
staff all of the from duty manager to cleaners were friendly accommodating and reflected the commitment to client service. great value for the money
- Laid back atmosphere - cleanliness - comfort
- Unidentifiable chemical smell in bedroom and hallway
Loved the quirky touches, the art, the furniture and the brilliant concept for cooking in the communal area.
Absolutely nothing to not like. Loved it!
polite staff, very clean. Breakfast looked good and plenty of tea / coffe available. Wacky, fun rooms, great for backpackers.
Would not use with family, or as a choice business stay in the future. very limited food available in evening and no restaurants nearby.
The hotel is awesome. The staff was fantastic and really friendly. We stayed there for 7nights (8 days) and it was a quite nice stay. The only thing was .. They have no toilet brush in the bathroom, such a bit disappointing
Value for money Facilities in room
Coffee in corridors was poor - sorry
comfy bed, reliable internet, design of rooms, location!!!, free coffee and tea in the lobby
noisy, one can hear the shower and toilet from other guests, breakfast at 7,50 quite expensive and not really good (choice of bread and cereals).
comfy bed, free tea & coffee, amenities in vending machines, very cool place
hostel vibe, can hear toilets flushing from other rooms
Such a trendy, fun hotel.....amazing socialising area to sit and read, chat and meet people. Fantastic free coffee and we were even given free sushi and a glass of white wine for one of the nights we stayed - highly recommended!
We were welcomed by Mariush, the most accommodating concierge/hotel rep, who met our needs above and beyond what was required. There was a world of design to be discovered in the hotel itself. There has clearly been a great amount of thought put into the details. The breakfast spread was very generous. Coffee+tea were available at any point during the day. The location was perfect for discovering the up and coming area, with 2 main tube stations within 5 minutes walking distance. The hotel was conveniently situated next to a Tesco, which was another added benefit in case you needed essentials (food, toiletries, umbrellas!, etc.)
Alternative living style
Insufficient storage space
... and we got it, ideal and just what we were looking for, it's so nice to stay somewhere different from the standard sort of room you get with most hotels nowadays.
My lady was a little uncomfortable with the proximity, design and lack of privacy of the bathroom - if you don't know the person you're staying with that well before you arrive here, you will certainly by the time you've finished!
design, interior, service, atmosphere, Everything :)
a bit noisy neighbours
Wish there was better doors for the toilet. We managed but a bit strange.
Location, concept, comfort - great personal welcome from staff.
Pluming noise was annoying.
