Food and location
Staff were very friendly. Our room was upgraded with a room with a window and view of park without us asking for it first! The lobby environment was very creative and cool. Amazing daily quotes on the lift made us smile every single time! Breakfast buffet was very good. There is free tea and coffee just in the corridor of the rooms.
The floor on one side of our bed was vey dusty and dirty. Looked like it never got vaccumed. Apart from that the rest of the room was very clean.
Slightly quirky and excellent value for money. Great location for getting around that part of London particularly if you enjoy a bit of a walk, lovely to go past the Gherkin, around the City of London and even Tower Bridge and the Tower of London turned out to be in walking distance. Nice staff too. Didn't feel at all like a budget hotel thanks to the effort they'd put in to making things look and feel right.
There wasn't anything I didn't like. Can't say that about many places!
Excellent, staff, breakfast and food, free tea and coffee stations, shampoo, size of room, clean room, tv, great pillows.
The plumbing in the bathroom was noisy and smelt bad. The car park gate, rooms a bit cold and lack of carpet.
At the edge of East London. Approximate with transportation, restaurant and supermarket. good price with this quality. Wifi is strong.
Not so safe enough during the night if you take subway. Smell of paint on the wall.
Close to the tube. Neighbour with Brick Lane. Clean, Good service, good food and even better breakfast. All the small things like the weather in the elevator, Quotes everywhere etc. Will stay again. In London and Amsterdam.
The park outside was a bit creepy. You can hear the showers in the other rooms.
the hotel in very welcoming and nothing is too much for the stall. Great large room with very comfy bed. Decor throughout hotel was fab. The food was really high quality and tasty.
Would have been good to be told where the coffee/tea machine was in the hall way. Took us a day to fall upon it so was paying for drinks unessersarily.
Breakfast is good location is good and room decoration is funny! Service is also nice!
Room floor is very dirty... It is only one year old hotel but floors are made of cheap plastic material that is diffucult to keep clean. It affects to atmosphere of the room... :(
No drinking water in rooms No tea or coffee making facilities in rooms No power sockets in room except mounted on bedframe TV (bolted to bottom of bed) came on and stayed on. Wouldn't turn off or change channel. Had to dismantle bed to find power socket to disconnect.
Great Bed and Linen Shower and bathroom Excellent breakfast options
quirky room comfortable and spotless room breakfast was excellent and staff were very helpful
Bar closed very early
Is perfect for young couple that want to visit the city. There is no problem with the no-window rooms, big enought for enjoying the stay.
Everything was ok.
staff; breakfast; location; decor
bathroom door didn't shut fully (due to design)
Top Lage hinter der City im angesagten Shoreditch/Whitechapel
VERY affordable meals. Great Wifi Very comfortable bed and towels. Safe in room Motivational Messages/Jokes around the hotel. Funky design appropriate for the price.
My room had a weird bed head with a rather large woman overlooking my bed. Quite discomforting Heard the neighbour's shower one evening.
- The décor is really original and the hotel felt like an amazing treasure hunt. - Bed huge and comfy - Can be creepy to wake up (in an unfamiliar room) and see someone looking at you (there is large wallpaper people portrait pics above the bed) - Shower great - The cube restroom is awesome, but really not suitable to reserved people as no door is present
No 24/7 bar sadly as their food is awesome and little selection of similar food within walking distance. - Being an eco hotel, sometimes takes around 10 minutes for the water to go warm enough to take a shower - room with no window had really tight corridors for normal sized people and could be annoying for larger people. - air con removes all moisture in the room and kept switching on = resulting in a sore throat within 2 days - No extra pillows, covers - No ironing room - Little space to store clothes if in two
price, hotel was like ibis, but with personality and far more quirkiness staff was young, positive, vibrant and educated
forgot my toothbrush and hotel did not have any. I was willing to pay. Hotel shoudl have a small shop with the essentials. I dont want to go to Tesco at 11pm. this is a MUST the hotel should sort out.
We both loved everything! The hotel was spot on couldn't ask for anymore
The style of room
It's a bit far from train station
Long way to walk from room to receiption. Tv had very limited channels
Trendy, Well organised and Friendly
Prices of food and breakfast are high (no combined price for breakfast).
At edge of Whitechapel zone, easy walk to Brick Lane, or tube into heart of city. Quirky rooms and decor, nice and private with funky rooms, with no windows. More than a sleeping pod, comfortable.
Breakfast, lack of. Shown to seat but no menu. Had some continental, but was looking for hot breakfast, Left unattended for 25 minutes. Found menu on the wall in the lift, which looked interesting but never mind. Perhaps could introduce a menu to each table !
Irritated at first due to lack of window, I left in awe of the idea! Great location, all amenities provided - will be sure to return.
Lack of natural light in the morning (but I knew that going in).
Really loved the cool trendy relaxed environment of QBIC and it's excellent restaurant. Now my London hotel!
