The staff were friendly, helpful and professional and the breakfast was good. The hotel itself was very nice and the room wasn't too hot as they often are. Really minor points, room had no hairdryer and only one set of towells for two of us. That said, a quick call to reception and up they came. I think the health and safety police had been at the thermostat on the shower as well. |

It was centrally located which was ideal for our purpose. We did not like the way the breakfast menu was set out. We did not realise that it would cost £10.95 each. |

We stay here about 4 times a year.We have tried all the standards of rooms from city to 4th floor. Beautiful Rooms,Brilliant staff , great breakfasts ,We always have a lovely stay and would highly recommend. As yet not much to fault....My fiancee commented Room 405 needs either a wall mirror or even a dressing table one - nowhere but the 'mood lit' bathroom to do hair & Makeup was a challenge! |

Lovely surroundings, very pleasant staff a classy hotel. I did feel the buffet breakfast did not do the hotel justice especially for the cost. Buffet style is quite impersonal and not very appetizing. |

The staff were very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was very clean and well furnished. The outer window would not fully close so that made the room a little cold and rather noisy. |

The location to St George's Hall was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful when we were trying to organise travel to a restaurant. They suggested and ordered a taxi for us. |

The hotel is a beautiful Victorian building which has been well restored, we found the bath at the foot of the bed in the bedroom a little bizarre. The room service food was dreadful but the cost as credited |

Checking Out. Totally uninterested staff with only a basic command of the English language. The receptionist was especially unhelpful, The "upgrade" we asked for was actually so small we were left wondering what the first choice was like. |

Good ambience, great rooms, lovely building. I have had breakfast and bar food on the two times I have stayed there in the last month. The food has been uninspiring and poor and did not fit with the rest of the experience. |
