Staff were nice and helpful. Clean bed. Breakfast was good although not all menu items available. Lots of car parking space. A good wide staircase in the hotel made a nice alternative to using the lift. Cold throughout. Items on breakfast menu not available for both days. Found a cigar end in the room, and heating not working so had to have an electric fan put in the room. Bathroom particularly tired and grubby. Noisy at night and windows do not open and close properly.

It was close to Bradford station. Also it is an older hotel and therefore has more character. The bedroom was very dark and inadequate lighting was provided especially for reading. There was no internet access in the two bedrooms I tried which was frustrating as I was away on business and therefore needed internet access. The signal was strong in the dining room but not the place to use my laptop.

Staff were very helpful and friendly.. Hotel is in a good location with free parking. The room we were given looked amazing but the sink in the bathroom was blocked. Also the window wouldn't shut, it was -2 outside so the room was cold! The friendly receptionist however did without hesitation give us a different room which was bigger in size and had better facilities. Still, there was a problem with the window which wouldn't stay open? I would stay again if they sort their windows.

The hotel was quiet and spacious the east european staff were friendly enough and helpful. The restaurant staff are unsure of the dinner menu, vegetables are extra and there is a service charge.

The grand features of the building with its spacious reception area, corridors and stairways. In comparison with the space outside, the double room was just a little too small, as was the bed.

Pretty oridinary rooms given the fact that the rates are same as other hotels. Limited choice of food for dinner. Breafast not the best I have seen. They have a separate menu for breafast from where you can ordered. And when I asked for some hash browns, they gave me a single small size hash brown.. I will rate 1 out of 5 for breakfast. Probably I went during the wrong time of year but they refused me food in my room as they had big function in their hotel and serving 200 guests (I guess that should not be an excuse for not serving food). I will honestly never go back to that hotel..

Our stay was great and room, service and staff very friendly. we would return as hotel very central to town and to our family which is spread across Bradford in different directions. Lovely to have a comfortable hotel after a long drive. We stayed for two nights on BB basis and first morning breakfast was served very quickly however on the second morning we had to ask to be served after sitting for fifteen minutes, explained that we were in a hurry as we needed to leave early and then still waited over 30 minutes for our breakfast which when it came was also cold and did not have all items asked for. Couldnt really understand the delay because the dining room only had two other tables with people on. Shame because the previous day had been ace with superb service.

Beautiful building, our room was lovely, a little bit on the small side but perfectly adequate and comfortable, The food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service. We had lunch in the bar and the barman was so helpful, huge portion which kept us going until our evening meal. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it.

Convenient location and value for money When I asked for the wi-fi log-in code I was given it but not told that the wi-fi had been playing up for thee previous 2 weeks. Only told this when I complained the next morning. As a result spent wasted time with repeated connections which soon dropped out. Poor choice of television channels. No radio.

Bar menu - had some very weird combinations and not many healthy options. Shower head was too low - chest height. Toilet didn't flush. Tea/coffee cups in room too small - mugs would be better.
