The convenience to our local office, it is excellent value for money, I have stayed there three times and the food has always been very good |

this hotel is extremely dirty and dated. We had the "Tatton" Room which was the worst hotel room we have ever stayed in. Very Dirty, smelled damp, the wallpaper was falling off due to damp and was just stuck back on with drawing pins!! The food in restaurant was very poor and the dining room dirty. We booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1 night, in fact we checked out at 8am the next morning and could not wait to leave. Certainly no way should this hotel be classed as 3 Stars. More like 1 or 2 Stars at the most. |

The staff were very helpful and friendly although as stated above there was no mention on the site of the free access to the leisure club. |

i have stayed here about 7 years ago, i spoke to staff that were there from that time, she was lovely, i asked why it was not in good decorative order and shabby carpets, she said there were problems recently but they had been taken over by another chain and refurbishment was on the agenda, this could be a really nice place again breakfast was good, my husband said there was sand at bottom of jaccuzi, its all needs better managment but i think this is beginning to happen and i wish them well i think encouragement to bring people to this hotel is to have one area for those that are away to party, it would be quiter for those who just want to relax and get a good nights sleep but nothing major |

The decor was nice. THe staff were nice and the evening meal was extreamly good. We had the special offer with evening meal & breakfast included. It was amazing value for money. Mould around tha bath/shower. (Not as bad as some hotels I've sayed in though!) |

The spa was quite pleasant and the night porter was helpful by offering to make some toast when I arrived for breakfast at 6am, an hour before it opened. The hotel felt rather cheap. I paid £50 for bed and breakfast, which would have seemed good value two years ago, but in the current economic climate I have found many better hotels at a similar price. Breakfast needs to open earlier for business people - 7am is too late! |

The shower. Staff we're incompetent and didn't seem to know how to use the computers or be welcoming. Room was noisy from 2 fans which was absolutely disgraceful. Bed was soft. Late bar open and closed as it pleased. The only person who was friendly was the female brunette bar person (Sat 9th May 6pm). |

We had a very good deal. The room was adequate, but extremely clean. The only problem was from other guests, who were inconsiderate re: slamming doors and being noisy in the corridors. (Not dissimilar from other hotels.) |

The restaurant was nice, and the food was fresh. The room was small, but sufficient. The bathroom felt dark and a bit grotty although it was clean (no natural light) I had been at a seminar in Manchester and on return wanted to use the swimming pool etc, this closed at 8pm on Saturday night so I had no opportunity to use the facilities there. |

bar staff nice I booked a non smoking room - but had to walk past the smoking rooms to reach mine and the corridors stank of stale smoke. My room was on the same corridor as the smokers. The room had hot pipes running through it so it ended up being to hot without any means of switching the heat off. some lights did not work and no hot water in the morning. |

The deal for dinner bed and breakfast was good value @ £79.95 for 2 people at our time of staying. We were in a ground room, but very noisy children in the room above. We told the receptionist, who said she would tell them to be quieter, however, they still carried on, and sounded like they were kicking a ball about. |

Flec |
