Very friendly staff and the front desk was manned at all hours. Good local taxi service. Some of the furnishings were a bit more worn than I would expect and the elevator was very noisy when trying to sleep in. |

Plenty of car parking and recently partly refurbished. Gardens much bigger than expected. Helpful and courteous staff. Comfortable room and quiet. Just perfect distance from the city in impressive Edgbaston. |

There was plenty of free car parking and the hotel is quite close to Birmingham City Centre The breakfast was quite good, and the staff were very pleasant. The hotel did not merit 3 stars. The decoration is very tired and the bed was uncomfortable. The room was not as well appointed as most other hotels. There wasn't a towel rail or even a hook in the bathroom, and the towels had to be hung over the shower rail. |

It was convenient for where I needed to be, but quiet so it was easy to get a good night's sleep. |

Big room Old and very out dated.Very small bathroom - shower only, old linen & towels.Garden outside my window looked like a rubble yard.Wont stay again - same price at other budget hotels that looks much better. Not what I would expect from Quality hotel groups |

We went to a concert at the National Indoor Arena, the hotel was easy to get to and easy to find and close to the City centre. The kettle did not fit into the sink to fill with water, but I used a mug instead |

The hotel is centrally situated for easy access to the city attractions. We had a short taxi ride to an area with lots of choices for an evening meal. The staff were very responsive to give us the missing towels in our room. The parking facility is good, but can do with a few more lights away from the main reception area. |

Dissapointed that facilities advertised were not available - eg. swimming pool - one of the reasons we booked this particular hotel. Receptionist not very welcoming |

The deputy manager on the sunday wasnt very professional she was screaming down the phone at sombody whilst we were standing at reception. Also she gave our bags out without our permission, we new the person she gave the bags too but i taught it was bad form to just give out our bags to someone who wasnt staying at the hotel. |

Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok. Good parking space. The rooms need an urgent refurbishment. Could feel all the springs in the mattress and the bathroom is very old. Leisure facilities were closed. |
