We used the hotel for a Sat night stay in Birmingham as it was close to the centre, good value and a good sized clean room. Parking areas were not ideal and busy. |

There was no lock on the toilet door, it would not close, and the toilet is located right next to the bed area, where the door kept opening. The window had no blinds just a net curtain and the show opened at the window area, hence when the light was turned on, one could see through it! This was reported to the reception manager, however nothing was done about it during our stay!!! |

Good value for money, what you see is what you get. Does what you need for the money. if you expect more, then you will have to pay more...so do not moan. Could do with a refurb, but all this is reflected in the price. |

Location: Close to the city's shopping area. Parking available on site Rooms were not soundproof, too noisy, towels and linen were old and ripped, decoration in rooms needs updating, and some staff were rude |

Staff very helpful. Breakfast excellent. Easy access to city centre. Very clean and tidy. Heat too much in room. I left window open all the time and did not mind traffic sounds. But room still too warm. |

Proximity to attractions such as Drayton Manor/Cadbury World etc. I think the accommodation section of the hotel needs some updating. The decor was tired and while everything functioned, there were obvious signs of wear and tear. |

Close proximity to two pubs and 3 restaurants and sufficiently outside main traffic flow, thus reducing noise levels. Limited car parking space. |

Excellent staff, had a problem with the first room offered (bath half full of water and unable to lift the plug!) and they upgraded from single to double room immediately and free of further charges. I consider the cost to be excellent value for money if on a budget, i.e you get what you pay for!!!! Toilet seat broken in room, but if you want quality and perfection expect to pay at least twice the cost! |

The staff were very obliging about allowing me to park my car (parking is ample and free) well before I was entitled to check in and again well after I'd checked out. One of the drawers in the dressing table was (quite obviously) broken. |

The location was perfect plus the staff were nice and polite. I didn't like the stench of smoke in the hall ways plus the bed was completely knackered as well as being two singles pushed together rather than a double like i paid for. I got woken up 3 hours before i needed to check out by the maid letting herself into my room followed by a fire alarm half an hour later which was probably caused by the stench of cigarete smoke from nearby rooms. |
