Easy to find and good location to city centre. Booked this hotel as it was very reasonable and my daughter was free. Not too far from Cadbury's world which was the reason for our trip. Hotel staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We chose to eat in the restaurant and our meal was delicious and good value. Would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if for short city break.

Location was entirely appropriate Shower could not be turned off and bath tap ran all night. Had to put a towel below the drip to dampen the noise! Edges of bathroom floorcovering were grey. Bath had a nasty stain under the taps. Handle missing from one of the dressing table drawers. No tissues in tissue box in bathroom. No spare toilet roll. Only one cup though this was a double room and booked as such. This room at any rate needs serious maintenance attention and better housekeeping.. Was given a complimentary breakfast in view of the above.

The rooms are very spacious, light and comfortable. The staff is very polite and reacts quickly to any wishes the customer might have. The location is close to regular public transport services, which enables customers to reach the city centre and other areas of Birmingham easily. The restaurants provides very tasty meals which are affordable.

I absolutely loved my stay, I enjoyed the champagne and mince pie :) And I loved that I had the choice whether I wanted to use the gym facilities. When I first walked into my room it smelt really damp and mouldy, so I would suggest plug in air fresheners.

Spacious room, bed quite comfortable, good wash/toilet facilities and tea making facilities. Very good breakfast, for choice, quantity, quality and service. Good that I could ask for a fried egg, rather than the set scrambled egg. No central heating so quite cool, although the towel rail was hot. Noisy during the night because of busy main road. Long way to walk from Reception (room 206).

Excellent value for money, very good location with free car park, very helpful staff, rooms clean and comfy if you book the "premier" which are large rooms and not the standard, we had room 268 with view on the park, fantastic for the price. We did not use the gym, went to the pool, really needs to be cleaned, water was warm but a bit cloudy and too much chlorine. Good Hotel anyway for the cost. Bar open 24h, price very affordable, did not try the breakfast but we'll definitely return.

We found the hotel on the web and it seemed like the perfect location as we were travelling from Dorset for the Edgbaston cricket test match which we have been doing every year since 2003. This is by far the best hotel we have stayed at and we will be returning. It was very nice to have a late bar till about 1.00 am and your prices are reasonable and the service is good . All the staff I met were very helpful and friendly , for example booking a taxi to the ground was no problem. Thank you very much.

It was clean and good value. It has all you need for a short break (cricket) and is well located just outside the city centre but with a reasonable taxi fare to get into the city centre. Restaurants and pubs in the immediate vicinity (within walking distance). Staff were good and looked after the customers..

The outdoor table and chairs was nice and I enjoyed sitting outside, enjoyed using the bar with half price cocktails opening times for the bar was good. I liked the swimming pool and sauna. Hotel was generally a nice atmosphere clean and tidy with plenty of seating. Free car parking all weekend. Did not enjoy the bed much, it was small and was creaky.

Easy to find and a great base for local attractions. We used it for a trip to Cadbury World as it was only a couple of miles away Problems with the bathroom in that the tap was hard to operate and the loo did not flush, but other than that it was fine.

I stayed at the Quality Hotel Birmingham with my 6 year old son. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and the room. We used the pool every day and my son can now swim a length unaided!! We liked the proxmity to the City Centre and to the local attractions such as Cadbury's World and the Botanical Gardens. Where we live in Surrey we do not have double decker buses and my son was looking forward to riding on one which was very convenient as they stopped outside the hotel. Front desk didn't offer a trolley for guests with lots of baggage. Not sure whether this was even available. There is ample car park space but there's no signage to indicate there's additional car parking spaces available at the back of the hotel. I only discovered this when driving round after all the parking spaces at the front of the hotel had been taken up. I found it slighly unnerving that some of the hotel facilities could be used by non hotel guests.
