The room (127) we were allocated was nothing like the website pictures and certainly did not match the price of £80 |

The proximity of the hotel to the beach and the local attractions. An easy walk to the BIC, shops and restaurants. The hotel was located in a nice, quiet road with good parking facilities. Very convenient and a good breakfast! too Although the public areas of the hotel were well presented and appeared to have been recently redecorated, our bedroom was very tired and poorly presented with water/damp marks on walls and ceilings. The shower was ineffective and the beds lumpy or too soft. I was very disappointed with the room, particularly as I had asked for a refurbished room! |

I liked the fact that we could walk to the town centre and not worrry about parking. The room was large enough to have a travel cot for our baby and didn't feel cramped. I did not like finding the previous occupant's brown stripey sock in the bedroom! To be fair though, reception apologised and the next day it was cleaned properly. |

The location is fairly convenient and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast service is good. The hotel was extremely noisy with rowdy guests running up and down the corridors late at night. Noise from party revelers in the street is disturbing in rooms overlooking the hotel front. |

Pretty quiet when i stayed there, and its proximity to the sea was perfect, not a long walk but far enough away from the town centre to avoid noise. Due to its location behind tall buildings, you could not see the sea. |

Room was a refurbished room, nice and big, bathroom clean, nice stay overall I could imagine the parking being a bit tricky if you arrived late. |

Location, rooms are better than expected and clean. Friendly reception staff. Reception area and public area need to be redecorated, wifi worked in reception area only,no in the room on the 2nd floor, advertised with pool , but it is closed and never used since, a little hassle having breakfast - staff was hurry and moving around at all times so felt a pressure to finish it as soon as possible. |

Food in the restaurant was excellent, staff were efficient, friendly and courteous, and we had the benefit of a refurbished room which was again, excellent.Room facilities were comprhendsive as one would expect of a 3* hotel. Location was also well placed for town centre facilities, and public transport, both within easy walking distance, as was the beach. 1. The room weas excellent, but the provision of an adjoining door to room 257 (?) made aural privacy quite difficult - we could hear the televison on until late, and we didn't appreciate the disco 'boom boom' from there at 04.00 in the early morning. 2. Allowing all male and female parties to use the hotelis a mistake. |

staff polite & freindly, check in quick & easy, room was clean and ready for use, in the room the toilet roll holder was too close to the toilet causing it to be in the way of using the loo, breakfast both mornings could have been hotter. |

Good location re beach and town centre. Evening meal was good value for money and of good quality and I enjoyed the "full English" too. Reception and restaurant staff friendly throughout my stay Not too large a hotel, only ground plus 2 floors; I needed a single but was upgraded to a double as hotel not full Creaky floorboards in my room, could have been a problem for those in the room beneath mine |

Nice enough hotel - plenty of local competition to keep the quality up. Could do with black out curtains/blinds to make sleeping in easier. |
