Located just off junction 32 of the M4 and easily accessible from the A470, the hotel is conveniently placed for visiting Cardiff or exploring the south of Wales.

Whether you are visiting Cardiff for business, leisure, or a trip to the Millennium Stadium, Quality Hotel Cardiff is a very convenient place to stay. Although it is situated on the edge of the city, its proximity to nearby major roads means that it is easily accessible. A warm Welsh welcome awaits you at the hotel; located just north of Cardiff, it's a great base from which to see all that Cardiff and the surrounding area has to offer.

After a long day you can unwind in the Quality Living Leisure Club where you can let off steam in the sauna, relax in the jacuzzi, take a dip in the indoor swimming pool or work out in the gym.

There are numerous attractions in and around Cardiff, including the renowned Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle, Sophia Gardens, Museum of Welsh Life, Big Pit and the Rhondda Heritage Park.

Cardiff Bay, 1.6 km (one mile) from the city centre, boasts the Welsh assembly building (Senydd), the Wales Millennium Centre, Tecniquest, the Dr Who exhibition, and offers a wide selection of bars and restaurants.

To the north are the Brecon Beacons, where a number of outdoor pursuits are available, along with a varied selection of walks.

To the west is the Gower Peninsula, Britain's first area of outstanding natural beauty and well worth the one hour drive to get there.

Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent breakfasts. Plenty of car parking space.

Awkward to locate when arriving due to the complex road system nearby.

Peace and quiet. Ease of access to motorway.

Ellevator out of order during my stay, so had to climb to top floor with my luggage. Had to run the cold water for a minute each time so hot water could be flushed through pipes.cold water was ok after doing this. Check out staff seemed to be inexperienced - very slow!path way leading up to hotel entrance becomes vey slippery when wet! You have been warned.

Spacious room, comfortable accommodation

Bar closed far too early at 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. There was no mini bar as an alternative. Breakfast was not value for money at £12/head.

The staff and the food were outstanding, and great value for the price paid. Leisure facilities were great too.

The hotel was in need of some tlc.

Not the the hotels fault but drunken youths climbing out onto a flat roof and disturbing my children late at night.

Friendly atmosphere.

Not enough staff. Health and safety issues in leisure facilities eg broken light and exposed bulb in sauna, wiring on hairdrier etc. Big party of schoolkids.

The room rate was good value for money

There was damp on the walls in our bedroom. Some parts of the restaurant had not been dusted in weeks. The whole place should be refurbished. The bar drinks were expensive. The room rate included free wine with the evening meal but we were not given the appropriate token. After complaing we were given a bottle of wine of an acceptable quality, bearing in mind that it "free".

staff - and eg I was working early in teh foyer/reception area (in order not to disturb my wife in our room) and a member oif staff noticed, came over and asked me whether I would like coffee - which I gladly accpeted

The power shower was possibly the best I've ever encountered in a hotel!

General noise from the corridor and other rooms was louder than I would have expected

During 2nd 24 hours of my stay all staff encountered were very pleasant and helpful, and my experience of the hotel was positive.

During 1st 24 hours of my stay hotel was quiet. The one staff member encountered was polite but disinterested, and restaurant was closed. meals were to be ordered through bar. When i returend to do so at 7pm there was no-one around. After waiting 10-15 minutes I gave up and went out to visit friend in hospital [reason for visit]. Upon my return the same person wh had been at reception was staffing

The hotel staff were as always very kind thoughtful and considerate. I have three young children. The staff always make a special effort to talk to them and take time to accommodate them. It is much appreciated
