Score from 439 reviews Very good
The room, the staff, the bar and the breakfast.
There was nothing not to like.
Really well set up for young kids. Showed films every evening and every morning,
Pleasant hotel good facilities lively bar and night club, but no issue with noise Staff were very friendly and helpfull
A bit expensive
Lovely staff, shower like a power washer, excellent location, lovely room, gorgeous bar,
A bit pricey,
overall hotel excellent staff very friendly and helpful
tv stations limited
free and many car parking spaces but really far away from the town centre ~ you need to drive to the centre.
took 30 minutes instead of 10 to walk to the town centre and the streets near the hotel were very quiet. terrible shower as you could not control the water volume and the cold water and the hot water did not mix and you felt too cold and too hot at the same time~worst ever experienced. very noisy all night as the bar on ground floor had extremely loud music. felt cheated by the name Ramada.
The staff were very helpful and quick to solve a problem I discovered with my room, no fuss, no hassle, just solved the problem in a courteous manner Breakfast was fantastic, great choice and ambiance. Bar was was fantastic too, fast service, great selection and very reasonable. Rooms were clean and very well laid out
I had to leave
Room very warm
Friendly staff, good location, free Wi-Fi, average breakfast, ample parking.
Room extremely warm (no a/c) hard to sleep (it was 22-24C in daytime outside, so not particularly hot week), dated bathroom/shower, lumpy mattress. Dated décor/furnishings. This would have been acceptable if the price reflected this. We paid £132 per room per night B&B. I would have felt it was acceptable value if it had been £90 per night B&B.
The location is grand, a few pounds will take you into the City centre.
The beds have very soft mattress so if you have a bad back be warned. The view we had wasn't great we were over look ing an oil depot
Loved the room and staff were super
Wifi was terrible and not a great selection food wise very little for children
I liked the room which left nothing to be desired. The restaurant setting was beautiful and the food was good. I've had better food but I can't complain. The live music at nights is a great idea but not such a good idea to have it in the smoking area. The staff were lovely.
I didn't like having to sit in a smoking area to have to listen to the music. This is an absolute no no and it could be a deal breaker if I ever was deciding again on a hotel in Derry. Smokers are not the only people who enjoy music and for the most part, the people who actually stayed to listen to the music were non smokers. The smokers came in for 5 minutes and then out again. I think you need to address this. Breakfast leaves a little to be desired. Bacon was very fatty, scrambled eggs too wet instead of fluffy. The plates were cold at times and worse still, hadn't been properly washed. However, when all is said and done, we had a lovely weekend. Thank you to all of the staff.
Perfect for somewhere to put your head after a night out in Derry City.
staff were friendly, rooms clean, within walking distance of the city centre.
no pool.....thats about my only bad thing
Found the reception people to be very insensitive to tourists. We had an issue with our room and they didn't seem to care that we were unhappy. They also were unhelpful for restaurant directions. This hotel caters primarily to tour groups and I believe this is a major reason for poor reception skills and attitude.
Location Staff are very good
Chairs in the dining room. They are very worn, lumpy, low and uncomfortable
Hotel staff are extremely efficient and helpful. Very professional waiting staff in the restaurant. Internet facilities were very good.
Bathroom facilities could do with some maintenance. My wife was unable to turn off the shower in our room. The sink tap also needed to be tightened considerably to stop dripping.
The pub next door
The rooms were not air conditioned yet we had an enormous air conditioning unit outside our window which made it impossible to open our windows due to noise and health reasons I am galas it wasn't summer as the room was hot and we couldn't sleep the price for the room was 20 pounds more than the hotel we stayed in Belfast and it was perfect in comfort and location I wouldn't stay there again
Free parking. Ideal location. Friendly staff. Welcoming atmosphere
we had a great nights sleep rooms were very clean
i think that your bar staff were a bit slow at serving people even when they were not busy
Staff Were very Friendly, the Bedrooms are clean and roomy ,good size bar, Good restaurant food, I like a walk and around 15/20 min takes you into the main part of town( £3 Taxi ) plenty of free parking spaces. A first time, pleasant stay and will definitely go back
Bit Noisy with doors banging next morning due to my room (303) being close to the main doors onto that level .
Large bedroom. Entertainment on Saturday night had plenty of bar choice and was popular with locals in the area. The Restaurant food offer of £17.50 for 3 courses was very good and well presented. Close to centre of town.
Toilet in bathroom quite stained. Room window overlooked a wall and beer bottles
