The bar was ok to have a drink in with friends, plus, it was available to residents in the small hours. Having booked this hotel nearly 3 months before our stay and us specifying a double room, not a twin, what a major disappointment to be given a twin room that stank of cigarettes and a carpet that hadn't been vaccumed. Add to that, a hen party stopping either side of us, a total waste of money. We spoke to the girls at reception who not only didn't listen but couldn't or wouldn't smile if their life depended on it. Hotels that allow smoking and even have smoking rooms just shows what Ramada are about. Never again for us and i'll make sure I spread the word to others too.

The room we had stayed in was right above the bin area and all night and the following morning all that could be hears was the clinking of empty bottles bein thrown in the bin. Was very hard to get asleep, and we wer woke up constantly! We also had to pay a £50 deposit for the room which was never stated!

rooms were lovely. Staff were friendly and the location was great for sightseeing in Derry. The hotel had taken in a huge group of 'hens' who were rude, loud and very drunk. I thought when booking that this was a refined establishment but when the boogie-bus pulled up it really lowered the tone. The hens woke guests up at half past four

I would strongly recommend this hotel to any one planning a trip to derry. Food was fanastic in the restaurant. One of the best meals I have ever had and great value for money. I would also recommend the walking tour of the city if you are visiting.

Lovely hotel - reception staff very friendly on arrival and departure. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast wasn't included in our booking so can't comment. Bar very nice - an enjoyable visit. Asked bar staff to make mojitos - didn't have ingredients to do so! No negative comments really.

I went with my mum and daughter and stayed for one night. The staff are excellent every single one of them, very friendly and courteous and nothing was a problem to them. We had lunch in the bar and a meal in the restaurant that night plus breakfast the nexr morning and the food was excellent. I would recommend this hotel highly.

Excellant bed. Room good size. bar area was nice and relaxing good location to town The Breakfast was not good. Not a good selection of fruit. Dreadfull scambled eggs. Tough bacon that stuck in my teeth. little taste under the hot trays. Then I noticed that I could have had eggs done the way I like it? I would have liked poached with some fresh cooked bacon. The Waitress did not inform me of this option. Quite spoilt my start of my day. Otherwise I enjoyed the Hotel.

Food was only so so, £10 meal was frozen chips, tough burger meat and hard bap, starter was chicken wing with a bottled BBQ sauce with some chilli flakes in it, £10 isn't a lot, but charge more and use better qualitu ingredients! P.S. I am a chef! See above: I liked the staff and the anbience!

The location is brilliant with good access to the City of Derry, the airport and surrounding locations. The hotel gave us a typically warm Irish welcome and all the staff from Reception to bar staff were very accommodating. We have used this hotel every time that we visit Derry to see our family and would recommend it to anyone visiting Derry for whatever reason. Da Vinci's bar is atmospheric and a relaxing place to finish the night. Nothing
