great hotel , excellent staff , just outside centre , only a short taxi ride into centre or a fifteen minute walk. i hope to stay again in the near future . would have liked a swimming pool |

The very helpful and friendly staff. Help was given beyond the call of duty. Rooms above bottle bins, loaded up at night. No aircon. |

Friendly and prompt reception. Very clean room. Catered for my wife's wheat-free diet. Newspaper, though ordered, did not arrive. |

Easy to locate. Staff very helpful. Very comfortable well appointed rooms with Internet connection. Sebastian in the restaurant very good, and all the staff speedy and professional. |

cetral location to the old bridge and the new bridge the rooms at the front are very warm even with the windows open,can make uncomfortable at night. was woken on one occassion by a coach driver that decided to wash his coach at 6.30 am,dragging a brush and big bucket around the car park,but every thing else was as should be. |

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Shower was incredibly powerful! Bar was well stocked and nice atmosphere with plenty of staff so always someone to serve you. Being right next to the bottle bank was noisy and I would like to look out of the window, which, due to the lack of pleasant view, the hotel had made impossible by frosting windows. |

The reception staff were very welcomong, polite and helpful. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and we ate twice in the resturant and both meals were very good and served by very polite and friendly staff. |

The welcome we received when we arrived was genuine - very friendly. The two people at the reception desk were helpful and charming. This immediately set the tone for our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and our room was very comfortable. One young male waiter sniffed constantly while attending to us in the evening. Although this did not make a good impression, he was, nonetheless, perfectly competent. The rest of the staff were great. In the morning the breakfast was cold and they ran out of scrambled eggs! Admittedly it was very busy. |

The staff especially those on the front desk who made every effort to inform us of the facilities etc of the hotel. The bar staff rattling bottles etc in the back of the hotel below our room (305) in the small hours of the morning. We like to sleep with a window open, so I assume if we had closed the window we would not have heard the noise. |

The hotel was convenient for car travelers yet also within range of the city center via a pathway next to the river. The rooms were well decorated, the bathrooms basic but clean and well-maintained. We were told at check-in that it was a 10-15 minute walk to the city center -- however, it turned out to be 30 minutes (and we are fast walkers). Not out of range if you have nice weather... |

Spacious room, well appointed. Room service was very good and so was the simple meal which I had. Getting drenched, while attempting to adjust the temperature of the shower, before actually getting into the shower!! |
