The only real negative: no mini fridge in the room, we had to put our water bottles and yogurt on window sill (we were lucky it was freezing outside)
it would be better if we had found more varieties of breakfast, Omelets for instance, 1 or 2 more types of cheeses, however they serve the traditional english breakfast, I was happy with the butter & jam, fresh toasts and the fruits :)
Myself it was not that big deal, but the room was a bit small, no closet neither safe, just 6 hangers and a shelf.
If you are looking for a very friendly and pampering stuff you will not find that, you are in London! but yet they are doing their job and trying their best to keep a smile. just be kind, and you will find a very helpful lovely staff.
We arrived on Christmas day 2014, we spent 8 nights, we found our clean, neat warm room waiting us.
we slept really well, woke up finding the beautiful view of Camden warm houses and chestnuts trees.
*Breakfast was good, but it could be better, coffee machine makes delicious morning coffee/latte'/ cappuccino .
*Hot water always available with bathtub.
*The radiator heat was adjustable.
*Tea, coffee and creamers on the room were refilled daily.
*Many restaurants around the hotel, small groceries, supermarkets and Sainsbury's stores are just 2 minutes walk.
*Walk 2 minutes and you will find the bus station taking you to oxford street in 15-20 minutes by bus ( N113- night bus - available ) . Finchley underground station is 5 minutes walk away from the hotel and Swiss cottage is 10 minutes only, take a tram to anywhere you want in London.
*1 hour drive away from Heathrow airport( taxi for 35-40 pounds)
It is a quiet neighborhood in a fast and loud city, yet it is center of London
I usually book 5* stars hotels but because of seasonal holidays in London the rates were very high and available rooms were limited . so I booked this hotel for the good reviews, that's why am putting this detailed review
