I liked the carparking being available and free, the room was clean and fineand I liked the ease of checkin and general flow of the experience however .... I really did not like the high noise levels from drunk guests on the night we stayed - doors banging, swearing, abuse of each other, endless tooing and frooing in the corridor outside our room. This was made worse by being unable to call reception as the internal phone did not work.

Iv stayed at hotel 5 times when London Marathon is on due too the quality of service received and location is great for services. We also have the availability of an early breakfast as we need to leave early to get to the start of marathon which is great. Many thanks. Bit disappointed this time as we didn't have a picture on our tv in out room. Also when we returned from marathon and wished to order a couple of drinks from the bar the lady staff member seemed a bit put out as she ha bro leave the reception desk. Many thanks.

The staff is very friendly and helpful!! The front desk clerk Dee was extremely helpful and knowledgable!! The room had just been redone completely.. It was very clean and kept that way during our week stay! Bed comfortable.. shower worked beautifully..large towels..hairdryer and iron available! The breakfast was good! After they finish remodeling the rooms.. I hope they develop the outside patio out in front for a sitting area..It would be great in summer..

This is a really pleasant hotel. Parking on site certainly helps, but the place is clean, comfortable, friendly and serves up an excellent breakfast. Would go again.

I have been using this hotel now for many years - since it was the Charles Bernard Hotel in fact. It is easy to drive to from the M1 and has a car park. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the price, which is good value for money, includes breakfast and car parking, which is rare for a London hotel. On this occasion we were given a remodelled room which was a bonus - it was very nice. So, good location, the tube is a couple of minutes walk away, friendly and helpful staff and good value. Just, please do not change it!!

The staff is young and friendly. The room is reasonable standard for the price. Comfortable and in my case, very quiet as I had a room at the back. I like the bathtub and there's good shelve space for your toiletries. The towels are nice and thick, although bizarrely there are no hand towels provided. The walls are paper thin and my room happened to be right next door to the cleaner's utilities. I seriously thought the cleaners were in my room to get their stuff, that's how loud it was. And they start early! My bed (one of twins) was, although very comfortable, extremely narrow and I had the feeling I would fall out with every turn. There is also some serious renovation going on, which I discovered as I got home one afternoon hearing an absolute mayhem below me. Not to be recommended if you want to stay in and rest.

My main comment - setting aside the "inconsiderate" neighbours in the room next to ours about whose language and behaviour nothing could be done - is to say how incredibly friendly and attentive all the staff were - receptionists, girls serving at breakfasts, everyone - even the two young ladies who came to clean our room were politeness personified, even taking the time to thank us for staying(!) - this is unprecedented in my experience. Given the price we paid, the breakfast was much better than we have had elsewhere, and the room facilities were wholly acceptable. And, of course, the parking facility is a real bonus in London. We stayed here some years ago and parts of the hotel were being refurbished at that time. They still are, so it must be an endless task, but provided you are not in during the day time, there is no problem with noise. No hesitation is stopping here again - Finchley Road itself in a typical north London "drive through" mess of a street - not our cup of tea, but the underground is within 200 yards, so you are soon away from it. All in all, a very nice stay, excellent staff, reasonable facilities, a decent breakfast, and a good location - shame some people treat their accommodation and other residents with such cavalier disregard and lack of consideration!

Good location. Nice staff. Comfortable. Able to park car. Breakfast. Bathroom slightly small but otherwise fine. At times could be difficult to find a parking space but the staff sorted the issue well.

This is a straightforward hotel, it was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was good. On site parking was important to us - as was the special offer that brought the stay into our 'acceptable' price range. Location, a few minutes walk from the underground was just what we wanted and exiting London by car was simple too.

The hotel was most accommodating, room was medium sized, warm and comfortable, breakfast was very good, hotel staff pleasant and friendly, and even allowed us to park the next day after checking out, so that we could go into london by tube. All in all, I rate this hotel a 8 out of 10. would stay again, if in the area. Tube close by,only a few minutes.
