Holiday Inn Express London Heathrow T5  

I liked the location and the price, and although we were just staying overnight (to catch a flight the next morning) the on-site services were good.

Very comfortable bed and surprisingly quiet hotel. I must also say that reception staff could not have been more helpful or polite. Altogether a refreshingly good hotel experience.

No economical parking/hotel package was available for people using own car and only taking a long weekend. Transfer bus to airport has to be paid for.

It has easy access from the m4 motorway

The breakfast arrangements were poor, very messy dining area, and the wifi that had to be paid for didn't work very well

Stayed for one night for airport stopover good value and convenience

The staff were efficient. The rooms a good size. The decor was nice. Everything was clean.

Location

Wifi didnt work!!! Crazy they do not have the bandwidth in a business and vaction hotel close to Heathrow. They even were happy to sell a package with wifi and when it didnt work, they assumed that it was my Laptop's fault, despite me proving to them that it was them! I know this is correct, because at Reception when checking out the next morning, they admitted problems with WIFI, so at least after a fasion, I got my WIFI money back! But really too late, I wasted more than an hour on it the night before!

Rooms were small and compact but was happy with the modern amenities and facilities. Stayed there because our flight landed late and just wanted a convenient and reasonably priced room to stay before making our trip out of London.

Bathroom.Location

This is a newly built part of the hotel,which wasn't open at my last stay in sept 2011. So you would think that the bed would be new. But this bed was dipping in the middle and broken.When we told the receptionist on checking out,she was not a bit interested.

Comfortable,clean room,professional/helpful staff with a good breakfast. Excellent value for money,particularly considering its close proximity to the airport.

The bedroom was very cold at nightime and parking is clearly a big problem.The front of the hotel had cars parked all over the place.The shuttle bus couldn't get into the forecourt,people had to walk down to the nearest bus stop(which in all fairness wasn't far)to get on and it took us ten minutes for sufficient cars to move before we could get into the hotel car park - complete mayhem.

Clean room, great bathroom.

Some staff less than friendly - my first meeting with one staff member in particular was off-putting and felt he would rather be elsewhere. Basic information such as breakfast hours would have been appreciated.

close to motorway. near to family. value for money and good food.

window too small and to high up. room to warm air con. not adequate. car parking expensive.

Spacious and comfortable room. Loved the choice of soft or firm pillows. Excellent bathroom - luxurious shower!

Restaurant menu was limited and expensive. Did not try trattoria which may have been better.
