Usefully located. Friendly staff. Fun bar / seating layout. Hearing neighbouring room's toilet habits. Worn bed blanket. Slightly sloppy waiting staff. Dining room lighting.

Very friendly staff, very clean, great location. I reserved what was called a "Superior Twin" room hoping to have a little extra room for myself and my teenage son, who was performing at Hull Truck Theatre. Disappointingly, the room was tiny - could not even walk across between the bed and the desk if one of us was sitting in the (single) chair. I was told that the "premium" nature of the room was historical, since it used to have a fridge, which is no longer there. So I paid premium price for a tiny room with an empty cabinet where the fridge used to be! I think this is deceptive advertising. I recommend the hotel, but beware of this adverstising!

Good value. Helpful friendly staff. Comfortable. Very convenient for public transport. WiFi signal strength insufficient in our room on 2nd floor. WiFi signal OK in lounge but not all power sockets suitable for standard 13 amp 3 pin plug.

The staff in the main were excellent and the room was spotless. Front of house staff very helpful about the local area + waiting on staff in dining room were excellent. Dinner at the hotel + service was also excellent. Bar staff pretty poor - no idea how to make a gaelic coffee - completely ruined without no attention whatever to presentation + a large Baileys, with ice, served in a half pint beer glass - that was a first = either very poor training or just plain sloppy. No vegetarian sausages available despite being offered on menu. Quite a surprise when they were still not available on the second morning.

Very convenient, great location and ease of access by rail The loud music from a wedding disco which went on to 2 in the morning, disturbing sleep. I think the staff, knowing we were not wedding guests, should have put us in a quieter room

Central location and car parking facilities attached to the hotel. All staff very pleasant and accommodating. Used the Hotel Restaurant for our evening meal - food was excellent. Only small point was it was very warm & the window wouldn't stay up on its own - had to be propped open during the night. Everything else great.

Friendly, very clean and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms were to a high standard well maintained, have recommended it to friends and will definitely stay there again, only next time might stay for two nights as 1 was not enough. Fire alarm woke us up very early only to find out it was a fault with alarm.
