Convienent for our entire wedding party to travel to and sty together overnight, would have liked to say longer to relax more. Did not realise there would be such a walk to rooms. When we realised this my husband had to get changed in anothers persons room as he is oxygen dependant and could not manage the long winding corridors |

The reception staff were friendly and efficient when checking us in and taking our money. It would have been beneficial to be told where to find our rooms to save us wondering about for 20 minutes with heavy bags. The staff at breakfast offered us a very poor service with no communication. There was no offer of tea or coffee or any explanation of how the breakfast was served. Breakfast was, however, good. Room was comfortable but overall, the hotel was shabby - wallpaper ripped of walls, duct tape holding the carpet together, handles missing off windows etc and I felt the service and communication between staff and guests could be better. A lower room rate would compensate. Wouldn't recommend at that price. Better places around area. |

The gym is very small and overcrowded. Two bikes two running machines and a multi gym.. My bedroom was bigger. |

Standard, functional. Decor a bit too dark. Obviously needed revitalising - painting, more modern decor |

This hotel has been good value for years. Like other reviewers, I had noticed that the hotel was getting rather scruffy, but this seems recently to have received appropriate attention. My room was excellent - clean, quiet and comfortable. Being located to the side of a busy dual-carriageway, it is easy to drive past it, usually noticing the (bushy) entrance too late to react, but I can now locate it first time! |

The hotel and rooms were very clean. The locality near the motorway was a great help for my onward journey. The restaurant was superb. There was no coasters for the cups in the room. I has to ask for food to be put out in the restaurant but i did go at a busy time. |

easy to find Couple of the towels didn't look clean. Bit shabby in places. Noisy guests that woke me at 4.40am (reception could perhaps have given me room in alternative location knowing that there was a party of youngsters in the same location?) |

Convenient for the town centre of Loughborough, and the main road arteries. Plenty of car parking space. Bedroom spacious with good facilities. Decor was rather tired and internally requires some modernization. Quality of breakfasts could be improved. |

The room was clean and spacious with theoretically all the facilities you would expect and the location is really good being just off the M1 There were simply not enough staff on duty. I went to the bar twice and had to stand there for about five or ten minutes each time just for someone to eventually turn up to serve me. Similar problem at Reception where you could hear people taling the other side of a screen but no-one came out. The website advertised playstations, pay per view etc in the room but none of this was actually available, Even more bizarre was the fact that there was not even the freeview channels. It was a strange experience being limited to only five channels. Therer was also all the normal signs about saving energy and not washing towels unneccesserily. This was all a bit cynical as the corridors and rooms were all heated by electric heaters with no thermostats |

value for money, lovely breakfast, could do with more coffee sachets , and was not impressed with the mould which ran around the bath. The shower gel was empty and there was no soap. I was under the impression hotels provided these things |

Not much to like about this place, scruffy, no satellite TV for the fourth week in a row. Breakfast is passable. The smell from the toilets. The ripped wallpaper. The dirty carpets. The room service menu is printed on a piece of A4 paper with a laser printer. The food at night in the restaraunt is inedible - go to the Harvester next door for some decent food. |

I thought the reception area was very grand and luxurious looking, but this only led to disappointment to find that the rest of the hotel was very shabby and worn. Our room had an air conditioning unit in it, part of which was outside and the noise it made with the weather was absolutley hurrendous! We had to complain and asked to move rooms in the middle of the night but the key they gave us did not open the new room so by this point we were both very tired and angry! |

Good location. Rooms not cleaned properly, I have been there on and off for three weeks now and the entire time there has been no cable TV or playstation games. This place is very shabby and no-one cares in the management. It should be a really nice hotel as well. Great location off M1. |

bed was comfortable and breakfast - apart from slow toaster - fine with attentive staff. boy behind bar in evening very good and chef tried to jazz up food - good salsa on starter. tv poor and complicated. badly filled hole in bathroom door. evening meal seemed like frozen/prepackaged - breaded mushrooms like musket balls! cutlery stuck to sticky table with lots ofdrink rings. we moved ourselves very quickly. seemed to be difficult to provide vinegar. |

The hotel is ideally located for visiting the university. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. They also were very prompt in sending back my daughters teddy which she'd left in the room. The beds were very uncomfortable! |

The rooms were very clean and you could help yourself at the buffet breakfast The stay was ok but when I rang for a second invoice for the stay to be e-mailed to me I'm still waiting 3 days later. Also in need of decorating very bad in places wallpaper missing and pen on walls. |

Staff are excellent. Rooms comfortable and clean but communal areas such as hallways, stairways etc need redecoration. |
