The Brook Hotel Norwich  

I did not expect such tasty and wide range of breakfast food. The quality was very good , the service swift and friendly. The room was quiet and surprisingly spacious We will book the same hotel again.

Clean hotel and excellent friendly service. Fairly close to city centre and nice coastal drive home to Lincolnshire. Short 10 minute drive to city centre and about 30 mins to Gt Yarmouth.

Ok value for the money (b&b Hot deal). There is a (much needed) programme of refurbishment going on but it wasn't too intrusive and it maintains a decent standard of cleanliness. Staff were pleasant enough

There was free wifi but I couldn't access it because their computer was down and they couldn't print out slips of paper with the log on details. No one had clearly thought to write them down somewhere just in case!

I liked the location, was very easy to find, when u walk in it looked very appealing and clean front desk staff was very polite and helpful.

The bathroom sadly could of been cleaner, the shower curtain was stained and discoloured aswel as under the sink , and we had a nice unexpected bang on the door at 9am to start cleaning our room! Surely should of checked if we had checked out first?

The reception staff were extremely helpful.

The bedrooms need refurbishing badly. The bathroom floor was badly in need of repair and was not very clean where the covering was peeling. The beds also need to be renewed. The matresses were mismatched on the bed bases.

Plesant, friendly and helpful receptionist. Clean and inviting and good value, good visit :)

It is very convenient, and has all you need if you are just staying for one or two nights. The staff were very good. Hotel food not bad. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

The hotel is a bit "tired". Could do with some refurbishment - particularly bathrooms

Very helpful staff. Lobby, bar and restaurant area very pleasent, but rooms and furnishings, whilst serviceable, are clearly very old and in serious need of updating. This was,however, reflected in the low cost of the stay. Will stay there again, but only if low cost.

The main reception and bar areas were very nicely decorated. The staff were very pleasant.

Our family room was not ready on arrival on the evening. The sofa bed for our 10 and 13 year old daughters was extremely uncomfortable. The pillows for all beds were like sleeping on bricks. We waited around for a table to be set at breakfast, plates of food in hand and getting cold.

Great value at £55 for B&B. Used it as a base for the Thursford show on the Saturday, and a trip into Norwich on the Sunday
