The location of the hotel was so convenient to the Underground station. The quality and choice of breakfast was very good and the waitresses always available and ready to help. We were not happy with the accommodation. Although the room was described as a "small double" it was very cramped and shoould only have been allocated as a single room.

The only plus is the location-close to Paddington Station and the proper breakfast. A very bad hotel. Certainly not worthy of 4 stars. We had a four person family room, which turns out to be in the basement with frosted window, as in the toilet, behind which is a wall. After the intervention they turned us on the 4th floor, but our friends slept four nights in the basement. The description refers to a spacious room - this is not true, the family room in a basement is maybe 20 sqm - which is very sparingly for 4-bedded room . Family Room on the 4th floor is spacious -I think about 35m2. The narrow breakfast room or in the basement. The old ramshackle elevator have been waiting forever. Stairs and corridors are so narrow that two people do not face. I do not recommend this hotel.

The location, so close to padding ton, was ideal. We used this hotel as a short stay prior to our flight home. The room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast buffet, with lovely waitresses My only complaint was in relation to a question we asked regarding wifi. We were informed that wifi was only available free to customers who had booked their room directly through the hotel, otherwise there was an hourly charge. We were directed to the nearest McDonalds to access their wifi,

The minute we walked in the door the staff were friendly - came to hold the door open when they saw us with our case. All staff proved to be friendly too, which makes such a difference. Had room no 601 which was on the ground floor with a lovely four-poster in it and a nice view of Talbot Square with it's enclosed garden and trees. Door in corridor near our room banged shut when people were using it in the early morning, but that's about it (oh, no hot chocolate served in the bar area, but it was available at breakfast if you asked for it).

I loved it - my Mum and sister have stayed before and the reason for this visit was to treat Mum for her 65th birthday - the triple room was great, the beds comfy, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was fab!! Would definitely come again. Room was a little bit warm at times. But that really is a minor issue.

We arrived early for checking in, and were able to leave out lugage in secure store until we came back to the hotel later in the day! This was ideal as we had to go the EXEL to pick up marathon numbers! The room we booked was a small double with a small double bed, but was sufficient for our needs! It had everything we needed, it was comfartable, clean and had a bath as well as shower! The bath was most welcome after running the marathon! The chocolates delivered to our door on sunday evening was a nice touch too! Breakfast was quite good to, with a selection of cooked and continental! On our day of departure our tain home was not till late afternoon, but we were able to leave our luggage in secure store until we came back for it! we would definitely stay at this hotel again!

location was my primary reason for booking Lack of flexibility with regard to the time for breakfast.I was running in the London marathon and needed to leave the hotel early. All that was on offer was a continental type breakfast. Not good enough to sustain me over 26.2 miles.

It was very clean and comfortable and suited our purpose as we had to catch a train from Paddington in the morning. The location was excellent for what we needed. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. Not a major problem but we did have a double room and beside having the double bed in it it also had a single bed in the room so this made the room seem a lot smaller.

We had to queue for breakfast on the first day and missed it because we had an appointment to keep. On the following evening returning to the hotel at 11pm we were told the bar was closed because he was too busy! He did eventually serve us a drink but not until I challenged him.

Although travelling on my own I booked a club double and expected some extra comfort in a room described as ‘Club’. The room was not a double but a twin, the window did not have an external view, the window looked into the interior corridor that ran at the back of my room and was covered in mesh. I would not consider room 112 a Club Room. The breakfast seems OK though. This is a typical London over priced hotel.

It was within walking distance from Paddington Railway Station This was supposed to be a 4* hotel and we were very disappointed with it. Our room was very small and the bathroom was tatty. The towels had seen better days and the shower had very little output. The lift was antiquated and very jerky. At times it felt as though it was struggling. The restaurant was small and overcrowded. There was insufficient room to move between tables. The staff were polite enough but didn't seem to care. The breakfast was selfservice and although we were reasonably early for breakfast most of the hot choice was only just warm.

We liked the fact that the hotel was in a small square and the garden in the centre of the square with trees was lovely. Location close to Hyde Park and Paddington was very convenient and shortened our access to transport. We did not like the canned musack in the dining room very irritating especially given the general buzz around the room, is the music really necessary?

The location of the hotel is in a quiet area but close to main line and undergroud transport also bus route. The staff were helpful at the reception desk and in the dinning area. The main lift was slow and required some TLC.

The location, bulding and comfort The room was located in the ground floor, close to Heat Power Unit without any view. The cost I paid compared with the room's location is unfair.
