Quality Crown Hotel Hyde Park  

I will never stay at this hotel, I left after first Night was horrible. Is not Quality hotel for sure!

The hotel claim to be rate as a 4star hotel,but the rooms are more similial to hostel:small size.un comftable if you have luggage with you,old an not updated.lots of room are in the basement so they don't have any windows!!! No air-condition the rooms are poor. Not recommended!

the location of the Hotel & our room was located at the back so very quiet. it was very hot whilst there, so the staff provided a fan which helped enormously. the breakfast was very good & the staff friendly.

We did not like our stay at all and would not recommend this hotel to any body. We had booked a triple room and were 'upgraded' to a quad room which just happended to be the worst room in the house - right below the entry lobby. noise was intrusive and continuous and no staff were prepared to do anything. Other matters may have been acceptable but the fact we had no sleep and such a poor experience all else is irrelevant. In short we were abused!

This is not a four stars hotel.Much noise, poor staff, small rooms. Be aware of underground rooms! High prices for these facilities!

Front desk obviously not able to handle check-ins efficiently. Receptionist apparently stressed and very indifferent to guests in waiting line at front desk. Booked room ( family room) was on ground floor. Very small, dark, with three beds, small window-opening into a very small courtyard ( ca. 1-2 qm )) into which a hot air exhaust system was blowing. The room was therefore hot, there was a larger machine placed in the room with an attached vaccum cleaner like hose connecting to the inner yard, which was to draw in fresh air. Totally inaceptable to use such a room as guest room. Management at first unwilling to discuss this matter at all - explaing that all other family rooms were much alike.Left the hotel, stayed then at the Paddington Hilton Hotel nearby, paying only a little more, but getting a good value.

Breakfast. too much noise in the bedrooms.

Quiet and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant. Turn down service was appreciated.

Breakfast was a bit limited, though we didn't have the hot buffet, which might have been better.

The hotel is handy to Paddington Station/Heathrow Express and central London shopping. The breakfast is better than many of the alternatives close by and the reason we transferred our preference to Quality Crown from where we had stayed on several occasions before.

A 'double room' we were originally put into was double in name only. Set up as a single room but with a double bed put in does not make a double room. We struggled to get any consideration and transfer to a true double from the duty manager but when he was not around another staff member got us sensibly accommodated. The same duty manager was pleasant to us with further dealings. We will be more particular about the room category request in future.

We found staff extremely helpful and polite. It was so conveniently located for shopping in Oxford Street (plenty of trains and buses or within walking distance) and to the transport to Heathrow Airport. Excellent breakfast.

Our room was far too small but I think I made an error in booking a small double room. I am sure there were other larger rooms available for a little more money.

The four poster bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. The breakfast food and service was very good.

The lift broke down. The receptionist was enjoying her forst day !!!!! was incredibly clow and non attentive.....the breakfast room was hot and stuffy.
