Great value and easy walking distance from lots of places.
Location was good and breakfast was excellent
Would have no hesitation staying again.. Triple room very comfortable.. Beds cosy.. Breakfast beautiful.. Staff friendly & efficient.. Close proximity (5mins walk) to Paddington station.. Safe area..
Could find no fault..
The scaffolding infront of the hotel The ceiling leaking water in the main entrance We were not given the room we booked No hot water in the bathroom Bathroom switch - gave me a shock
Location, breakfast and room was excellent for 4 people travelling together. Would definitely stay here again.
The reception staff need to be much more polite ! No doubt stressed but incredibly rude !
The bed was comfortable, wifi worked well and the location was perfect for Hyde Park and travelling to other parts of the city. Close to tube station and a selection of pubs/restaurants.
Firstly, you have to pay £15 for the full entertainment package so we couldn't even view basic tv channels for free. Needless to say we went without. No tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Staff were okay but there were communication and organisation issues, especially around breakfast. We waited, as did others, for breakfast items to come out, for plates, for tea/coffee. Staff seemed unmotivated to assist guests with their requests. Food was okay. There was a lot of noise from the room above and from the corridors but that was largely due to other guests being inconsiderate. Probably wouldn't return to this particular hotel. It was average for the money paid. If you can afford to spend £500 for two nights, you will find better in the area.
Beds really comfortable
Shower was cold very disappointing for four star hotel .
I was booked in a small double room, but this to be considered as a single room only.
Excellent location friendly staff lively choice of cooked and continental breakfast
The bed was too small we couldn't turn over and had back ache, book a room with a bigger bed as the hotel is lovely apart from that
The bistro of the other hotel you could get 10% off food and drink the staff where great and so was the food Even off the main road taxis were easy to get
Breakfast very haphazard food was nice but slow to fill up the the hot stuff meaning you had to wait ages but I gave up and had no mushrooms or hash browns . I had booked a club treble room which had 'extra room' what we got. Was a four poster bed and a put you up at the side with no room between to get out ,just as well my friend didn't mind sharing the double and luckily has a very good bladder as she was in the middle, I explained to reception that I had booked a treble with extra room and was told they did not do them even though there is a picture of one on the website.
The room was absolutely cold After complaining with the reception about that, it was put a manual heater in the bathroom but nothing changed, because room and bathroom too were too cold. I could not have any shower.
Scaffolding all over the hotel front, checked in and had to pay for room b4 seeing accommodation ,room was tiny .left for a hour or so for a walk around upon return some1 had entered our room and used the toilet and smelt of pooh. Complained about privacy and smell ,was moved to another room wich was dirty bed with hairs and rubbish in bins, towel on the floor in bathroom, complained again and a very rude man said wat do u want now. Moved again to another room wich meant it was 2am b4 got into bed. Shower was not hot.. warm at best !!also smelt of drains and bad water.breakfast was greated by another very rude waitress who was less than helpful waited 15 minutes for hash brown wich meant the rest of my breakfast was cold. For £10 it was the worst breakfast iv every eaten . Travel a lot and was the worst service iv every had was not worthy of 4 stars at all. On check out voiced my disappointment and was told nothing could b done at all and no manager to talk to as she was running late.£200 paid in cash and no compensation could be given and find this very un except table . Stay away from this hotel it's not worth 2 stars in my opinion . Be warned . :( :@
Room was noisy due to airconditioning units outside the window. No sleep for two nights not good. Insulate the window or do something to keep out the noise
Location - that's about it
Location of room was terrible . No window as boxed in between 2 corridors. No hot water, luke warm, plenty of selection for breakfast but cooked was luke warm. Extremely noisy until early hours and then with staff arriving early.
Wifi connection in the room very poor Room quite small considering the money paid
The location and breakfast were really good.
Our bedroom on the ground floor was fine except the bathroom smelled damp
Needed somewhere to stay and chose the Crown with reduced tariff through Booking Tonight. Excellent value for money, large room and bathroom by London standards. Excellent buffet breakfast.
Hot water tap in shower faulty.
The breakfast room & food was very clean/good
Disappointed with the cost & the fact that while we were out in the evening someone had been in our room, ive stayed in alot of hotels & never had room service in the evening!!!
Nearby restaurants, underground tube station, bus stops to Edgware, Oxford Circus, Marble Arch and Hyde Park.
Bed was comfy
room smelt of drains!
Good location, easy walk from Paddington (Heathrow express stop) and not too far from Marble Arch. Breakfast was very good, beds comfortable. Room a bit small but expected for London and you aren't in it except to sleep! Good value.
Excelleng location. Walking distance to Paddington Station and restaurants.
Hotel does not look like pictures online. Very run down. Construction set up on the entire front of hotel.
Booked the studio for 4 adults. Loved it. It was like having your own wee pad in London for a few nights! Clean, tidy, and everything one would need and more!! A beautiful breakfast was available in the local brasserie! Also, I booked the wrong date initially and got the date changed without a problem (for a minimum admin fee). Very good value and would book nowhere else when I return to London!
3rd floor studio-no lift! Thankfully, we were able able bodied!
Breakfast great, bed comfy, TV's well placed.
Warn people of stairs!
