Second time I have used the Quality hotel at Stoke. The hotel staff are hard working, pleasant and always do their best to look after the guests. The management however always appear to keep the staffing levels to a minimum ensuring service is not as good as it could be, in the bar, reception or breakfast room. I have not had enough time to use the leisure club so unable to comment. Reasonable value at £40ish per double not worth more.

The hotel in the city center, restaurants, bars, pubs, shopping facilities around. The pool and jakuzzy was really good, leisure staff very kind. The room was tidy, big thank you for cleaning staff. The hotel corridors were dirty. The room was so small, the bed between single and double, very uncomfortable for two of us. No heating in the room, was cold at night, the radiator was dripping, our clothes got wet as we left our bag by the radiator. Requested a hairdryer, never arrived. The room was ever so noisy as the restaurant was under us and both night had some party in there, ergo couldn't sleep till am2.15, till the loud music ended. Very annoying, especially when you want to have a little battery charger weekend out.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Hmm, where do I start? The overwhelming smell of paint in the bedroom? The dripping ceiling in the bar? The shoddy breakfast? The table collapsing at the reception I was attending? The frankly poor choice of beers available? The fact that we waited forever for drinks?

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was dark. there were insufficient towels and pillows. The light in the bathroom did not get fixed after two requests. The door was so tight it took two of us to open it. There was no tonic water in Bennets bar, nor any pure OJ. The coffees ordered never materialised. The dining room had no lemon slices and had run out of salad at 9pm! Generally, the staff tried their best but are under-resourced and badly managed - which idiot schedules routine maintenance at 10-11 when guests are checking out? we had to carry heavy bags down two flights. The sloping floor out of the dining room caused me to fall heavily through glass double doors - fortunately no breakages! The wedding reception was, however, beautifully organized and managed and we had a good time despite rather than because of the venue..

We booked two rooms one room the suspended ceiling was about to fall in. Both rooms were like a sauna as the heating pipes ran through both rooms. Staffordshire bull terrior walking round freely at one point! To say it was basic would be an under statement. Thankfully we only stayed one night.

Pool and spa was great to have on site at no extra cost. Staff were helpful Had two nights of slamming doors and loud talking and giggling from coach trips of teenagers. Was on holiday with family in two rooms. Had young kids with us as we were going to alton towers. Did not get to sleep until 2 am after having to knock on next door and report it to reception. Was told they were only there one night however another coach party arrived the next night! I would use the hotel again but would advise that it may be wise to consider the location of teenage residents.

Hotel and staff where freindly polite and looked like they where happy. Swimming pool.Price. Resturant food poor not unlike school dinners and was over charged for main meals by £2.00. No staff at the bar most of the time, you had to go to reception. Beds rock hard and sofa bed not suitable for young child, she keeped on hurting her self on metale bars and had to sleep in the doublebed with us.

Free car park, value for money if you don't have breakfast. Good location for checking out the potteries. Seemed under staffed at times. Bar food ok, but restaurant disapointing. Room not ready on arrival, then lift not working, although it was repaired by the time we had climbed up to the 3rd floor for our room.

the location Condition of room was very old, every floorboard creaked loudly, floors uneven, very small room with hardly enough room to walk around the bed, no water pressure in shower, food left on tray on the floor near lift for our entire stay, dirty laundry on floor near our room when we arrived, still waiting for my neckless to be sent to me which was left in room (10 days later)
