Going home and leaving the dump at midnight More like a hostel for the homeless rather than a "Quality" hotel. Rooms dirty, furniture broken, spa bath kept switching itself on and off, noise from night club opposite, dogs barking in the next door neighbours room. The worst hotel on the planet!

The location of the hotel was excellent for my purpose. The bed was comfortable. The room was tiny and decor was very tired. Cleanliness was also poor with damp stains on the walls. Desperately in need of a refurb.

Roomy bedroom and en-suite accommodation - well catered seating facilities in bedroom (a facility often overlooked in budget hotels) - on-screen welcome greeting in room (nice touch). Misleading information on what is really on menu of the day (I.e in bedroom, lifts and in dining room), whilst decor of dining room is very appealing, the food can be very dissapointing, and the breakfast is only worthy of a one star hotel. The kitchen staff should be told that that some guests do not appreciate overhearing their conversation and laughter.

The building needs upgrading. The car park nearly wrecked the under carriage of the car, it was so uneven. The carpet in the room was dirty. The bed mattress was unsuppprtive and we felt dirty. The shower could not achieve a temperature which allowed us to use it. Some essentials like taps had been updated, but were not finished off properly. The sink had a plug which we used, but then we could not take it out! The fridge had been removed, not sure why. The leisure centre roof had fallen off two months ago which meant repairs were ongoing. I felt this shud hv been advised prior to booking and it wasn'T. Would not recommend this hotel. I feel it should be shut down for immediate renovations!

The hotel was in the centre of Stoke on Trent, within walking distance of the Potteries Shopping Centre and various pubs, also only about 15 minutes drive away from The Trentham Estate. The meal in the evening for £15:00 was very good value for money and the waitress and bar staff were all very friendly and helpful. A mention for the Reception staff too, they were laa very nice and helpful. The only downside was that the Spa facillites and swimming pool were closed during our stay.

The hotel was very central to the centre of the town so excellent for shoppers and those on nights out. The hotel not very well maintained...our bath had a hole in it and the bed wasn't very comfortable (nor the pillows) and it is quite noisy as it's central. The cleaners wanted to come and clean my room at 9am on the first morning, which I thought was a bit early and the breakfast was overpriced as you didn't even get fresh tea/coffee or toast, just soggy slices that had been sat under a heat lamp not a fantastic experience but luckily for us we only wanted the room for its bed and there are no other hotels that central to the town.

The Staff we encountered were all very helpful and happily efficient. Breakfast-Fried eggs are difficult to keep "fresh";I would suggest scrambled as a more acceptable alternative.

Just the location The service was not very good and the room was not as clean as it should be,also found the bedding soiled and there was a strange odour in the bedroom and barthroom.i was not pleased that I had arranged for a earlier check in and even though I arrived half hour later we then had to wait 45 mins for the room to be cleaned even though my early check in was confirmed the day before. I was dissappointed because the pictures on the internet did not reflect what I received.maybe not all your hotels are like this.i think its great for location to the city centre.

I thought it was very poor value for money. The room was too small right over a bar and function room with a wedding party until the early hours. Breakfast was very poor and well overpriced, one morning the cooked food had been there too long and was dry so I only had cereal and a slice of toast for the princely sum of £11..95 We will not be going there again we where there 12 mths ago and found it good value but not anymore.

We asked to change rooms due to the original one being newly-painted and the paint smell being over-whelming. The reception staff were very helpful in accomodating our request. Unfortunately the two times we stayed at this hotel it was during a weekend when the establishment were hosting weddings, consequently the atmosphere on both occasions was very "rowdy" until very late in the night.
