Excellent food, friendly staff, ideally situated - the museums and archives we wanted to visit were just a few minutes walk.
modern room. nice staff, good gym, exellent breakfast
lack of free wifi.
we had a suite for sixty two pounds for the night was clean and fresh a window was stuck but came straight away. Plenty of lights mirrors two flat screens. Cannot complain for the price - good! Could do with a paint job outside, looks terrible from the side but once inside very pleasant for 3 stars. Also no shower caps
fighting outside the hotel early hours to be fair was not coming from the hotel itself but its in the centre so very boozy enviroment
After a recent visit to another hotel in Stoke we loved the friendly welcoming reception and when going to our rooms we found them to be spacious clean and comfortable , bar atmosphere was good and reasonable cost, hotel, even made use of the spa facilities , booked a further room for daughter who is at uni who was delighted with the room , keep up the excellent service as you know we will rebook each time we visit Stoke
Nothing bad at as all only good
The on-site pool facilities helped salvage the trip when the weather left us with little outdoor options.
Stay severely interrupted, disturbed by foul-mouthed noise by (obviously) drunken visitors around 11 pm and 1 am on a Saturday 21st Feb night. Appears the walls are not sound proof enough.
Own car park, friendly staff and excellent value for money.City centre position.
Facilities are good. Location close to centre.
Friendly staff and a comfortable room at a reasonable price.
The room was slightly noisy up to around 10 pm - I think it was the heating vent on the external wall outside my room, but not too bad if I turned up the television. It didn't disturb my sleep because it seemed to stop at around 10 pm, although the room was a bit hot when I was staying - but better too hot than too cold.
Majority of aspects when staying away
The ONLY issue we had was that along one corridor there was a very bad smell, which lingered throughout our stay. We were wondering if there was a burst sewage pipe? Though ran out of time to mention it to the staff. It did not however ruin our stay, as our room was away from the smell and very clean and comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bed was very comfy.
The room was way too hot and the bathroom was too small. It tooke 10 minutes to find my room as the signage was not very helpful with the amount of corridors and deadends there were.
It is always clean and friendly helpful staff
Lovely greeting, rooms were fine and breakfast was great
There are some tacky red things in windows which did not seem to be in keeping - a minor hazard
Huge room, ideal if you are there for a night out rather than a romantic weekend but dont get me wrong, it's very clean and well presented. Staff are lovely and the bar downstairs has a great whisky collection and a pool table. Right in town centre so no cab fares.
Room was freezing when we got in but warmed up quick when we put the heater on.
Staff really helpful and cheery , wonderful experience
creeky floorboards and bed was way past it's sell buy date?.
Pool and spa facilities and closeness to theatre/restaurants. Cleanliness of rooms. Quiet.
Decoration in corridors a bit tired but for the price that is very minor. Dubious toilet smell down one corridor but seemed to improve next day
Leisure facilities OK
hotel room opposite night club , load music all night , room heater never worked , fire alarm at 2am...awful night
Good location, comfortable room and bed, nice pool
Generally good visit, staff are helpful facilities are good
Don't like paying for in room Wi-Fi & I don't like sitting in common areas/bar to work, so for that reason unlikely to return
The staff were friendly, the breakfast was excellent and our room very comfy.
Everything was very good
Comfy friendly and great swimming pool
Everything about the hotel
Nothing to dislike
its near the centre of the town so it accessible to nightlife, shops.
bed was a bit hard so couldnt get comfy
