All the hotel had to offer. Also Staff were very helpful , and very friendly....
The noise outside at night, and early morning ...
It was very good value for money with parking and use of the leisure facilities was an added bonus . Planned a day in Alton towers so only half an hour from the hotel. The staff were very helpful and polite
The meal at night was supposed to be a carvery but very poor selection and although what I chose was good, the portion was very small and it was served cold.
The bedroom and facilities were desirable. Didn't eat or use swimming pool but looked good
Due to being on the main road with a few clubs near by! Disturbances were caused during the night awakening both myself and partner
Staff very welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed the leisure facilities. Although hotel a little dated in places it was very clean and rooms very comfortable.
Main purpose of visit was to go to Alton Towers. Hotel was further from resort than I expected.
lovely, comfy and clean hotel. we had pub meal in the evening which was great after a long day traveling and then at alton towers. would deffinatley recommend this hotel, for an affordable stay within a half hour drive of the theme park.
Some outside noise, not helped because there was no air con, so we had to open our window.
Convenient Meals available onsite if wanted Good parking WiFi ok
Only one room with separate shower, all others over bath.
What a fabulous time we had as a family. We loved the swimming and gym most, wow that was something else. As for my daughter, the room service made her ask for a lengthy stay. Hoping to be coming back soon for a week this time around.
Not a very big complain, the room temperature was a bit high, making it a bit discomfort to sleep.
Rom was hardto findonly got told aboutthe late function on arrivalwasnt aware of the pool either
Leisure facilities, location and happy hour
Squeaky floor boards
Facilities in the hotel were good
Hotel was clean.
The pool and spa facilities are very tired looking and out dated. Extremely noisy at night with cars and people coming from pubs and clubs
location is right next to a night club not suitable if you have had a long journey very noisy until 5am hot cannot open window due to hooting and very bad language. taxis queue right outside front of hotel. there was no toiletries apart from toilet roll and towels.
Nice comfy beds good size of room and bathroom. Great bar. In the best spot handy for the motorway and for walking into town or going to the theatre. Jade on reception very helpful.
A bit noisy on weekend evenings.
a good clean hotel
poor facilities, not a very welcome reception although bar staff were friendly. lack of sleep due to night club opposite with taxi rank right outside hooting and shouting all night until 4.30 in the morning would not recommend a room at front of building after a long journey.
Very good value for money good parking facilities friendly staff and excellent location would recommend to others
Asked for two rooms one for the kids and one close to them. Did not get that. The area the kids were in was v noisy. Complained to staff. Although they phone did up to the anti social people. The kids told us still f'in and blinding until 0300
Room was spacious enough Good location
Cleanliness poor maintenance awful smell in the bar
Price and comfortable bed.
Room was very warm had to sleep with with windows open all night and alot of noise from drunk people returns home at 3 am.
Great location for visiting Alton towers, had 3 kids with me and the hotel had good facilities swimming pool was good to have with kids. Staff were very helpful and I'd recommend this hotel to any 1 visiting Alton towers with kids.
Good location for Alton Towers Friendly staff Good facilities (swimming pool etc)
Room could do with updating Sofa bed wasn't the comfiest for the kids
The pool and leisure facilities were excellent and the hotel also had a pool table and football games table which were great for my teenage son.
Would have preferred to stay on a business trip gym and facilities good for a couple of nights
The room looked a little dated which only one of us liked
Fitness centre Good english breakfast Large on-site parking. Easy to find location on edge of town.
Hot & stuffy room Noisey 'ducting' unit outside the windows, so couldn't really open them when hot to sleep. Poor quality pillows. too soft.
Upgraded free so we had room for portacot. Lovely staff, nice warm pool & spa. Close to shops. Free parking.
Matress was very uncomfortable we stayed in 3 different rooms and all need new mattresses.
The staff were friendly and informative and the room was spacious. Good base for Alton Towers and very good price for our stay.
In a word Hanley. Was like a ghost town in the evenings.
