In the Warwickshire countryside, close to historic and beautiful Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Kenilworth and Stratford upon Avon, the Ramada Warwick is on pretty grounds overlooking the Avon River. The Ramada Warwick is a highly stylish and modern hotel, with a great restaurant on site. The Kavi Restaurant offers a great dining experience, with modern Indian fusion. Attractions within a short drive include Shakespeare’s birthplace in Stratford upon Avon, Warwick and its stunning medieval castle, beautiful Georgian buildings in Royal Leamington Spa, and Kenilworth with its spectacular castle ruins. The hotel has extensive conference, banquet and wedding services available. Hotel Rooms: 68, Hotel Chain: Ramada.

After reading the reviews, had some trepidation about the stay, but we found the overall stay good value for money. Room 221 - The bathroom had recently been updated and was excellent. The room was a good size with a comfy Kingsize bed. Breakfast was included and well worth the money and great that it was served up to 11:00am. I would definitely recommend it. Certainly a good step up from Travelodge which we often use

The staff as I felt sorry for them. The location is good This hotel is in administration!!!!!! Due to this many of the meals were not available as the produce had not been delivered, but the meals that were served were good. The heating was not working for the 3 nights I stayed there, and there was no tv in the rooms after the first night because Warwickshire had switched over to digital and all the tv's in rooms are analogue. If you want to book this hotel I suggest you confirm it is in new ownership and these points have been addressed

Location Bath panel falling off, bathroom door did not shut, paintwork needed touching up, aroma of curry permeating whole hotel. No staff on reception to checkout at 7 A.M. Noise made by other residents (tv, footfall etc.), was heard clearly in room.

The staff were friendly and helpful. 1) I did not receive my paper in the morning as requested. 2) The bed was extremely uncomfortable and we hardly slept. 3) The room was too hot. 4) There was plaster coming off of the wall in the room. 5) The shower leaked all over the floor. 6) Bathroom was not very clean - there were toothpaste marks over the tiles from previous occupiers. 6) There was a damp/mould patch on the ceiling above the shower.

The Indian meals and the full English breakfast in the Kavi Restaurant were absolutely fabulous. The restaurant staff, the front of house and the other service people were helpful, friendly and did a first class job. Cost was very reasonable for a well presented and appointed room. Country location, near motorway connections in close proximity to Kenilworth and Warwick castles were a bonus. Also Coventry, Stratford and Birmingham were an easy driveaway. The quiet location and the town of Kenilworth close by were great. 10/10 - I would stay here again.

Close proximity to Warwick Castle, the purpose of our visit Room service breakfast placed on door overnight, as requested but not taken and consequently no breakfast. The reception apologised and arranged for the breakfast and as a gesture they did not charge. Many thanks for the prompt and kind attention given to this error.

Very clean room. Bar staff - Would only open bar if you went to reception and asked them. The member of staff would come, serve drinks, then walk off, so next time you need a drink, you have to go to reception again.

Nicely decorated room, though with a couple of patches of recently replastered wall that hadnt been painted over yet. The hotel manager, the Czech receptionist and the South African night porter were all very good. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The polish receptionist was extremely rude but she had just quit and was working her notice so shouldnt be a problem for anyone else in the future. The breakfast manager in the restaurant wasnt the sharpest tool in the box but made up for by good wait staff.

The destination was what we wanted and the staff were friendly. Our room was a let down (see next box) and straight away we were given a better room and were very much apologised to. The breakfast was nice too (even thought we had to ring up and remind them to collect our door hanger) My boyfriend and I arrived at the Ramada Hotel on December 31st 2011 for a one night stay for new years eve. We had big expectations of the hotel because of the reputation and had seen nice pictures on www.booking.com.I'd booked a cheaper place down the road in Leamington before hand but was delighted to find a better hotel (the Ramada) for a n extra £30 or so. Sadly we were dissapointed. We were greeted with lots of building work (a terrible view from the room). I'd rang up before hand to check about food at the restaurant and was reassured there were more than enough spaces as it was new years eve and my boyfriend and I had planned a nice night away, we even double checked when we spoke to the woman at the desk who acknowledged it was me who rang, nothing was mentioned about builders until then (we wouldnt have chosen to stay if we had of known) Our room was shabby. My boyfriend being a plumber and bathroom and kitchen fitter spotted the little things I just knew the tv didnt work the view was hideous and the cealing had leaks, the tiles were shabby and loose and the bathrail was dangerously loose (not what we'd payed £76 for!) we politely mentioned the tv etc to the woman on reception and she gave us a nicer room. She told us the times for dinner but when we came downstaurs for an Indian at 9.30ish we were told by someone else on the desk that there was no food on atall and we'd been told it closed at 10.30!!! We literally had no dinner that night because being new years everywhere was booked!!!!! Big let down!!! I mentioned how quiet the building was and was told more people were coming to stay so we thought there'd be an atmosphere at the bar, but the place was empty so we had to go into town. We filled out our breakfast form as adviced and that was not collected we had to call up reception in the morning and had to rush to eat it because of checking out . The food was nice and the waiter was polite.

The staff in general were very friendly, the rooms were clean and modern. Location fine for our needs (personal business in Leamington Spa) and free parking readily available. Free wifi throughout the hotel was a plus. We had to change rooms on the second night due to problems with the shower, but in fact the issue appears to be across the entire hotel - our daughter suffered the same in her room and we also overheard other guests discussing the same issue at breakfast. It could potentially be quite serious - I had to leap out of the shower twice due to the water becoming scalding - this could be especially dangerous for a small child or elderly person. The room we had on the second night was freezing, adjusting the heating seemed to have no effect. The barman on the Monday evening when we arrived did not speak inteligible English and the breakfast waiter did not seem too enthusiastic about a friendly greeting for guests or about doing any work.
