Upon arrival the check in staff could not find our booking and so for the first ten minutes we were vey worried something had gone wrong. They eventually found it but were not at all apologetic.
Staff were rude Venue was dirty and room was not ready upon arrival due to a large party the night before. Room was dirty, smelt heavily of smoke, curtains were hanging off, grease on the furniture The general state of the hotel was run down and dirty Not worth the money we paid for an executive room.
Room did not smell very clean breakfast was cold not very happy would not stay there again
clean sheets, hot water, speedy check in and assisted with wifi login
Room over car park, noisy until 2.15 am as well as road noise all night, worst nights sleep in months
Staff were very helpful and friendly
Our room was right next to an exit pathway where residents stood talking a bit too near pathway
Only Kellogs products at breakfast !!
The room was fine. Bathroom was clean, shower great and plenty of towels. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Ideal for Stoneleigh.
Breakfast needed to be hotter. Sausages and bacon were not the best quality - sausage was watery, bacon was tough. Toaster only worked on one side and needed to be put through twice.
Room was good. Bar and good facilities were good.
Had to ask for a TV remote
Location was ideal for business needs. clean and spacious. excellent food.
as a lone woman felt ground floor windows being open due to warm weather was a bit of a risk
Price Clean rooms Good sized bedroom and bathroom (with bath and shower) Friendly staff Good breakfast Good location for the midlands/Warwick
Food in Restaurant - Indian cuisine chosen. Attentive member of staff - cannot fault
Room location .. ground floor - a number of people on many occasions standing outside room window smoking a talking very loudly. Only stayed in bar area for only a few minutes .. bar area occupied by 4/5 foul mouthed individuals . Stagg made no attempt to ask them to tone down their language. Room ... a number of bathroom fittings hanging loose from wall. TV hung from a very rough piece of timber! Very thin bedroom walls ... I had to endure the TV from the next door room . I could hear it above an above my own TV ! On Check out ,... nothing from reception asking about my stay ! very little in the way of conversation just wanted payment ...
Nothing I stay in hotels every week and this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!
The worst thing was the staff they were angry that I had inconvenienced them by trying to order food. Also the lunch food was clearly leftovers from the breakfast buffet the hotel was very dirty.
We arrived late following a wedding at Wetherle Hall and were greeted hospitably and shown to our room. Our room was excellent value for money, well presented and appointed, extremely clean with nicely laundered bed linen, good mattress and every facility we would expect from a more expensive room. Thank you.
-lack of communication between staff -no remote upon arrival -no telephone in room -dirt on window ledge -at times no-one at the bar to serve
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and tidy, rooms were comfortable and it was a very good price.
The hotel was quite remote so unless you wanted to drive out for a meal you were limited to either Indian or Italian food from the restaurant.
Value for money. Staff extremely friendly Helpful receptionist at check in Helpful staff at breakfast Breakfast was hot and excellent choice
We went to the restaurant on Sunday evening but the menu was limited. Only Indian menu available. We had to go out to leamington spa to eat.
Location was good for meeting up with friends
In a room which had a dividing door which I take it could be used for families but felt as if they were in our room; no privacy at all!
The location was convienient for travelling. Shower was powerful.
The cleanliness - my bed had a green sticky stain on it. Towels had a brown marking on one of the face towels. Lots of dust in the shower extractor fan, which was directly above you when showering. I could feel the bed springs underneath and it was squeaky. Breakfast was 4/10 - the sausages tasted like they had 12% meat and I have no idea what was in the other part. - bacon was ok though. Overall - I paid £75 for 1 night - and I don't think it was worth more than £40 per night (that is being generous) Kind regards,
Staff were on he whole friendly apart from breakfast team who seemed less awake than I was
Hotel fairly clean although a need of refurbishment and updating paintwork in both bedrooms and communal areas in shabby conditions
Cleanliness and decor toeher with ample free parking and Wi-Fi. The Indian meal was also very good.
Not all the menu was available.
Staff very helpful and polite. Public areas very clean. Absolute winner, - free wifi
Dark decor , which is a matter of taste but in small bedrooms seemed oppressive. Poor quality of finish to all furnishing and fittings, ie chipped paintwork on skirtings and door frames, very poor mastic joints on bathroom fittings. Worst of all is the allowance of smoking near the main front entrance !
Staff were very kind and helpful, breakfast was OK
Bathroom needs a complete refit, the shower leaked everywhere Sheets were very worn and torn in places, bed was OK but the room was quite small and pretty outdated
Good breakfast, lovely grounds
Receptionist unhelpful on arrival, directed us to the resident`s bar which was closed, hotel functional but lacked atmosphere. No air conditioning in our room therefore our bedroom window was open, member of staff knocked on our door at 10.45 saying our tv was too loud, we were watching the world cup!
Ironing board with iron in the room. Spacious free parking. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast fair.
Hotel very difficult to find according to website's directions. No lift, so a challenge to carry a heavy suitcase up/down stairs. Room very warm and Ventilation minimal as windows could only be opened a snitch.
