The only good thing about this hotel is its close vicinity to Wembley Stadium and Arena but on event days they increase the price to an unfair extent. There are other hotels in the area providing better service and amenities at more reasonable rates.Only use this hotel as a last resort. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful and the building is very old and in poor condition and should be replaced. There was a lot of litter in the scruffy car park. The litter could be readily cleared if the manager had the desire.

We stayed at this hotel to go to the FA Cup final, previous reviews are right it is perfectly placed for the stadium. We booked 11 rooms initially on Booking.com so that if need be the rooms could be cancelled without having to pay anything. By the day of the final we were down to 9 rooms and we did arrive en mass, which confused the reception staff but all eventually worked out and each room was paid for individually. Before we left for the match one of our party was trapped in the lift with 7 other people. The hotel rang for an engineer and they were expected to wait for an hour until he arrived. They were released by the Fire Service after 40 minutes having called for help from within the lift. There was also an incident when the reception staff handed a pair of tickets to the wrong people leaving 2 football fans without tickets having travelled from Australia to attend. The room was clean and all of our party agreed with this however 5 out of the 9 rooms has no hot water to the shower and one blew the lights while trying to turn on the heating. We had a full English breakfast the next day which I would describe as ropey. We stayed 1 night and having returned home have found the hotel have deducted the money to pay for all 9 rooms from our bank account!! So they have had payment twice and the manager has just informed us that this is their procedure, what twaddle. Having stayed at all 3 hotels on Empire Way I would recommend you stay at 1 of the other 2!

Convenience for visiting Wembley We stayed in Rm 415 and the very large window opened fully, restrictor was not operating. This was very dangerous as the window cill height was low and this was not limited to our room as my friend on the 8th floor reported the same issue. I would be very worried staying here with youngsters.

It was close to Wembley Arena and had good car parking faciltiies. I didn't find the staff very friendly, particularly in the restaurant and I will be writing to the General Manager with regard to a few things that were disappointing about the hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Located right beside the Wembley Stadium and a few minutes walk to the underground station for both Jubilee and Metropolitan lines Ample free parking during the period of my visit. The cost of cooked breakfast was expensive. Continental breakfast at £ 7.95 was probably OK but full English (£ 13.95) which involved a plate of (one of each) sausage, bacon, half tomato, baked beans, some tinned mushrooms and a hash brown at an additional cost of £ 6 was excessive and of only average quality. Surprised to find that when I arrived at mid-day the hotel had already charged the deposit to my card when it clearly says that the card is used to secure the room only. Compared to many hotels of similar type and price range in London this one is still worth a return visit.

The only good thing about the hotel was the location. The whole hotel was very tired. Our room needed the bathroom completely changed, the window frames and ledges looked precarious. Reception staff on arrival poor with no communication. Restaurant staff in the morning tried their best

We stayed there on 13/4/12 for the fa cup semi final our stay was fine until we tried to exit the car park on our departure the next day and we were not allowed to leave until we paid an extra £ 20.00 for parking which on the booking confirmations clearly stated it was free parking for residents with no strict time to leave the car park on departure , so not only were we delayed terribley but also an extra £ 20.00 cost for parking which is absoloutley extortionate in my book and because of this we and any body I know will never be staing at this hotel ever again and we are really annoyed about this and we are considring further action !!!!! do not stay here

Car Parking was chaotic as there was a travellers wedding reception taking place in the hotel. Room was adequate but towels in bathroom were poor quality and shower head was blocked with limescale resulting in extremely inadequate and frustrating shower. Bed coverings were of poor quality and bed not particularly comfortable.

Good price for a London hotel and only 5 mins from the tube station. We had a triple room which was a very good size and purpose built. Other triple rooms we have stayed in are normally just a double with an extra bed squeezed in with no room to swing a cat. We changed our room as the shower did not work and the very large window was cracked which we thought was letting in the noise from a wedding reception and the road. The duty manager was very obliging. We arrived midday and was allowed into the room, even though we were two hours early. We did not eat there as breakfast was expensive. It is in need of some upgrading. Windows are huge and metal framed. On changing the room the noise was still the same and window was cracked again, probably due to people trying to open it too far. Outside noise comes in as there is a vent either side. Curtains are old and net curtains missing so the light floods in. There is also building work alongside of the hotel. The car park is small, but we arrived midday and there were spaces. Take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. We did not pass any outlets for breakfast on the way to the tube other than Mac'D which was closed for a refit, so if thats not your taste take your own to keep you going.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel, with free parking and a three minute walk to Wembley Park tube station, this is recommended. There was however a strange selection of customers from construction workers to Eastern Europeans, and the car park included more than the usual number of white vans. Use it as a cheap stop over if that is what you are looking for.

Really close to Wembley stadium and Arena - less than 2 minutes walk which makes it ideal to get back to from any event. We were there for a rugby match and were back in the hotel without needing to queue for a tube, taxi or anything. Really well priced and don't be put off by the external fasade of the building - it may look '70s but it is more than just practicle. Make sure you use the Metropolitan line to Wembley Park to get there on the tube - fastest & least stops. Ample parking infront of hotel if driving. Staf very friendly and helpful. We did not eat in the hotel as there are many options near the Tube station (Wembley Park) so can't comment on food / restaurant. New carpets being fitted while there and noisy area near lift shafts on 8th floor to be avoided if possible. Windows very dated and single glazed so not as sound proof as you would wish although no real noise issues although building works in area from 7.30 am weekdays.
