cleanliness and food
As a fan I loved the whole experience. close enough to O2 to get a taxi to eat out. Will go back again. Took the stadium tour this time which was brilliant and met some real legends
The whole atmosphere at West Ham was excellent
The room was cold upon entering as the central heating was not on, the plug in heater did not work, although this was changed by a staff member. One of the bedside lights did not work and was not replaced as promised
The view frim our room was awesome
The bed and that the wardrobes were locked. Kettle in cupboard ?????
View from bedroom window,
No receptionist on arrival for 20 minutes. Had to ring and change the time of our dinner booking at Cafe Rouge, O2 to later because of late check in. Cold showers on arrival & in the morning, not impressed. Staff didn,t want to know when we complained. Bedding dirty and replaced with a duvet but no cover.
It was close to Excel centre. Near to tube. Breakfast was lovely Staff were nice.
Advertised wifi but not strong enough to reach the room. Heating is poor (used a white electric radiator). Area is not the best. Is really starting to fall apart but due to move no money been spent.
Fantastic views of the Stadium from bedroom window, very friendly staff and a very good buffet breakfast.
Looking out onto the pitch was great. After 2016 that will not happen at this venue
Mattress could have been better.
The rooms were nice and clean, a good size and breakfast was spot on
I stayed in a twin room and the beds were smaller than a single bed. They were comfortable enough, just a little on the narrow side.
I gave the cards in when we booked out and siad we were booking out the recepitonist didnt reply or ask if our stay was ok.
View of football pitch from our bedroom. Portion size in legends bar. Friendly staff.
Fantastic parking, fantastic location
The staff were very helpful and friendly especially those in the breakfast room
I found the double bed very uncomfortable. Apart from that I can find no fault with the hotel
Ordered a double room. Turned out they'd overbooked and shunted us into a twin - on Valentine's night. They were monumentally unbothered by this. Had to jog them to even check the booking. They decreed they had no more doubles. So: tough cheese. After much haggling, they suggested they couldn't even knock 30 quid off the price, but "could do twenty", so, effectively sharing a single bed for sixty quid in Newham, cheeeeeeeeeers...
My boyfriend is a huge soccer fan so this hotel was a perfect surprise for him. Staff very helpful and breakfast was until 10 which was nice.
It would have been nice to get in around the stadium as part of the stay but we were told you had to buy tickets from a box office which happened to be closed during our stay
The staff were friendly and ploite
No credit or debit card facilities due to a malfunction No wardrobe in room Single bed on wheels moved whilst sleeping Tired rooms with obvious signs of dirt Mould in the cramped shower cubicle Unable to open windows
Good Wifi, good breakfast.
The heating in the room was difficult to regulate. It felt cold.
Great experience for a fan. Great views of the pitch. Memorabilia everywhere. Go into areas a normal person wouldn't normally on a match day. Staff were very pleasant.
It's on the West Ham United stadium. This place is magical. Beautiful. I recommed this for every die-hard WHU fan. However, you won't get much sleep because you will want to stare on the pitch all night. Much light coming inside from the grass grow lighting - of course you can close the drapes, but I intentionally didn't because of the magnificent view. Will definitely return there for another stay.
the only bad thing is that this beauty will be gone in 2016-17 ... :(
to stay at my teams ground and wake up looking at the ground
The view from the room was great over looking the pitch, the t.v's in the room had sky sports and b.t sports. The buffet breakfast was lovely.
The food in the bar in the evening is overpriced and wasn't very good, there are so many better and cheaper restaurants a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Breakfast bed view
The view and general atmosphere of the hotel
I loved that you could see the pitch from my room
I didn't like that I was never informed until after I booked that I would not be allowed check into my room until 9pm that night as there was a match on that day
The pitch view, hearty breakfast and good value made this a great option for a Hammers fan, looking for a bed for the night in London, but looking to avoid central London prices.
Somewhat small in-room TV
