Nice novelty factor you can't beat - especially breakfast with the players! We didn't expect it but our son loved it. The hotel is a basic 3 * and we knew that - it was great for what we needed and we would stay there again Free wifi, flat screen tv with all sports channels The shower was poor but not bad with it

Close to the city centre. Good sized room. Close to bus and train services Not being aware that the Saturday we were there was a home match day, Kick off was at noon and as a result we were told to vacate by 6am and were denied entry till 5.30pm. Lack of wardrobe space as cupboards were locked for storing we assume corporate booth equipment

Something different I guess, can look out to the pitch through the windows Looks very out dated, old telephones, old tv, colour scheme looked very old fashion expecially in the bathroom. Sheets smelt a bit musky. Staff seemed to go out for cigerretes a lot and left the desk unattended. Had a erririe feel to it due to the desrted corridors and awful colours. You can open to balcony that looks on to the pitch so you have to use a old air con system so no fresh air gets to the room.

Comfortable, safe and clean - friendly staff and a great view from the rooms! As the rooms double up as hospitality boxes on match night, you have to be out by 11 and can't get back in until midnight. This is clearly explained in the hotel policies, but I'd advise travellers to check home fixture dates

A very nice experience is to sleep in a bedroom with view on the football pitch of our favourite english football club. Rooms are in fact sky boxes transformed when there is no game as bedrooms. Meaning that there is a lack of cupboards if you want to stay more than one night.

The West Ham Hotel is an unusual concept that works!!! The hotel has West Ham memorabilia on all the walls and you can tell when you speak to the friendly staff that they are as passionate about the hotel as they are about the team. I booked the hotel for a birthday surprise for my husband and it certainly was a surprise. We had the chance to watch the away match in the players lounge and then we enquired if it was possible to have a tour around the hotel which was granted by Faizel the security team member who showed us the changing rooms and the pitch all the time giving us lots of info about pre-match procedures etc. The breakfast was in the champagne bar and consisted of full english brekkie and continental all with fresh orange, coffee and tea...lovely! definately a hotel to be recommended...great staff...lovely hotel! If we were to try and think of anything to disappoint, it wouldnt be in the hotel but in the club shop. No changing rooms or even any mirrors on the shop floor. Men sometimes dont mind stripping off in full view but If I was to have treat myself to a tee then the prospect of taking my top off on the shop floor would be embarassing.

i was born and raised in the area and came to visit my arents which the location ideal.I would definately stay again as it exceeded my expectations.Being a west ham supporter I found the stadium a home from home .Many thanks to the staff. Problem with the shower and the tv was not tuned in,but did not bother me too much.Im sure the staff would have put that right by now.

Being in London and in this price category, the rooms are very nice and spacious campared to other hotels I've stayed in during all my visits here. Not that it mattered much to me, but it was a fun thing having a wiev over West Ham Utd's pitch. This is mostly my fault, but you have to travel across three farezones with the underground to get to Upton Park. This will take you anywhere between 20-30 minutes with the underground to get to, say the Chelsea area. If you have little time in London, my advice is to book something within travel zone 1, so you don't use as much time traveling.

The rooms were huge with a very spacious bathroom, Bed was comfy, great view of pitch. would have liked to access the balcony, but doors are locked for safety reasons. The breakfast was great, scrambled egg deserves a special mention. Staff very courteous but maybe a little over attentive at breakfast. Our shower seemed to have a vital piece missing, but I didnt discover this until morning. Had to wash hair under bath tap (not good) and have a bath instead. Would have liked a comfy chair to sit in though

We really appreciated the willingness of the staff we encountered. Breakfast was fresh, although we were late. The breakfast staff went out of their way to see to all our needs. Although we booked an extra room late, they tried to ensure we were near each other. A pleasant stay in a very comfortable hotel.

I was pleased with the sevice and the standard of the hotel. The hotel's location made the journey into the city centre very difficult as I needed to travel during the rush hour and the underground was very busy. It is also a long way to travel back after an evening in the city.

Excellent location to Westfield shopping centre, Olympic venues at Stratford and central London. West Ham United Hotel is a fantastic place to stay for any footie fan with one whole wall of your room looking out over the pitch, lovely and clean and really quite with helpful, friendly staff. We would and have recommended this hotel to all friends and family who want something a little different and with the city on your doorstep.

The receptionist was helpful when I explained I'd had a problem booking for children on the website. She organised the extra bed and delivered it to the room herself. Room was very small. We needed to request a child bed as the option to order on-line wasn't very clear. (extra bed made room very cramped) Why can't this hotel sell proper family rooms. I have stayed here before, purely for location as we were attending a function at the West Ham Supporters Club. Cost £184.00 2 nights, 2 adults 1 child (on fold out bed) breakfast not included in price. I have also stayed at the Premier Inn - Barking and found it to be every bit as good at a much cheaper price. Booking was much easier and allowed for families. I will probably stay there next visit.
