The staff and breakfast excellent. Rooms very good but bed a bit slack but comfy for me.
Keep away from game days as no chance to get into room before midnight - that is the night to go to a show!
A comfortable clean hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff
Fun to stay at the West Ham United stadium. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable.
It is very close to the Upton Park underground, not West Ham underground, but the trip to the city centre is long. Leave enough time!! The neighborhood's a bit dodgy. Female guests take care at night.
Everything was good. The breakfast staff were indeed exceptional and Simona in reception fantastically helpful
Good facilities, clean and well presented. Great place to stay just as a curiosity! Rooms look out into the stadium, admittedly, no football, but nice be in a box anyway!
Some sort of muddle up with the booking, and despite having a conformation for three rooms only two were available. These things happen, but the staff were not interested in finding a solution or even helping us find a solution and were in all a little stand offish about the situation. In the end one of the party had to drive across London and stay with relatives overnight. Some might not be lucky enough to have relatives locally to save the day.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location for local transport. Good range of food choices. Comfortable bed. Relaxed feel.
Due to the hotel also being part of the football ground, guests have to vacate their rooms by 8am on match days, and not able to return until 8pm, so not ideal for families with young children - although this is made clear at time of booking.
Unusual setting Food surprisingly good Car parking flexibility Helpful staff
Restaurant area looks shabby & dated Having to set up an account to get Wi-Fi Limited or no cupboard space Unable to book in until 8.00 pm due to Match day which wasn't informed until after the booking was made
It was a good value for the money. I should however note that the hotel is not really in a upmarket neighborhood but nevertheless we felt safe late at night. Also, it is in zone 3 for the London Underground and the nearest station - Upton park is really close (5 min walk). Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.
the view from the room onto the pitch
the room had no window and we were not allowed open the sliding doors, that was the worst
IT'S A FOOTIE GROUND SO GREAT
AREA IS DODGY AND DID NOT ENJOY LATE EVENING 9ISH WALK FROM TUBE
Easy parking, rooms comfortable but functional, meals are good, rooms are nice and quiet considering its location in London. As a football fan the view from the rooms is great and using the stadium in this way is a lesson a lot of other clubs should take note of.
Front desk staff are a bit haphazard in booking in.
Large rooms, comfortable beds, quiet location, easy access to motorway,
Noisy air conditioning and not able to turn sound down.
Nothing. No star ratings. Worst hotel named I ever stayed in my life . Never again!
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. It's not a hotel. They are changing rooms for footballers. No closet, no hangers, no safety box, no wifi, no ventilation, no access to get out for health and safety. Wasted money
Attitude of the staff was great - we were there for ride london and they did an early breakfast and were fine about bikes in the rooms. Bar was good too.
Impersonal email saying we couldn't book in till 8 cos there was a match on- they hadn't said that when we booked, and the email didn't apologise or offer the chance to cancel.
Very friendly staff, short tube ride from central London.
No fresh air in the rooms as the doors were locked and no windows we could open.
Location was ideal for access to the Olympic park. Staff very accommodating, bikes allowed in rooms and breakfast was opened early at 5.30am specially.
- Very convenient location - Tasty breakfast - Reasonable price comparing to London conditions
- Room windows should allow to open for fresh air - Matress may be improved for comfort
Good location. Good welcome and service at breakfast. Clean room.
Severe lack of security. We stayed on the third floor in room 306. The rooms have large patio-type doors (floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall), which open onto the seats of the football ground. These doors are normally locked. However, without us being made aware of this practice despite this being the 5th time we used this hotel on business, locks are turned off when the air-conditioning fails. This happened on our third night this week when several doors adjacent to our room where unlocked by staff, and we were not informed of this because our air-conditioning was working and our doors remained locked. As a result of the doors being unlocked in other rooms, 2 young men wondered four times one meter away past our sliding doors along the seats of the football stand, and had a full and clear view of our room and ourselves. As I had just got out of my shower, I was only covered with a towel, but two minutes earlier, they could have seen me with no clothes on. This was deeply shocking. The security man was prompt to respond to our call and eventually locked the sliding rooms in the other rooms after we asked him repeatedly to do so. When we reported this at reception the following morning, the reception staff and head of security, despite being very sympathetic, said that they did not know that this happened, and would report it to the hotel management. Three days after checking out, we are still waiting for management to contact us and explain their security policy. Although we have been regular customers, we are unlikely to use this hotel again, as security seems far too lax.
Overlooking the pitch Parking Overall feel, very friendly
No air conditioning (middle of summer)..so couldn't sleep and ended up with a headache. The single beds were very small probably made for a person under 4ft. Windows do not open and the rooms do not have a bathtub instead have a shower.
Room was nice, spacious and air con throughout was good
During my shower I had to turn it off 3 times to prevent the tray from overflowing, food was very disapointing would'nt eat there again the lager was off!!! Could'nt see through it it was so cloudy and sour, had it changed twice. Shame really, bit of tweaking could be really nice
breakfasts quiet place staff unusual place
ventilation by air conditioning (missing possibility to open window)
AC does not work!
The hotel is close to the undergroound, the staff is helpful and nice
The bathroom facilities were not the best, the bathroom door was dirty and the mirror dusty, the bed was too small
