the room was clean and tidy...i love the shower..the breakfast buffet was fabulous, love it.. our room i think was situated at the back and we can hear the noise outside.. |

Free Wifi is available. Located at walking distance from tourist spots. Hotel staff were kind and friendly. The chair at the room desk was too big and heavy. |

Good location for shops. Very good breakfast on the second day although expensive. (1) Not mentioning any particular rate, we did think it was expensive, having to pay extra for our breakfasts. (2) There was a consent smell of cigarettes in the (non-smoking) room. No amount of spraying or window opening would relieve it. (3) Would have preferred a wardrobe or cupboard to hang our things, rather than on a hook on the wall. |

Central for city centre. Really good hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were well designed and all that was needed for an overnight stay. Unfortunately the breakfast, although very good was a little cold and perhaps an improvement could be made in the idea of serving the tea in a thermos jug, which was not hot at all. |

The unprompted friendliness of the staff, the space within the room and variety of food available. The noise of the air conditioning units on the rood adjacent to our room. I had to ask about car parking rather than the staff enquire whether I needed the facility. |

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and it was nice to have digital TV. There was nowhere to put the soap in the bathroom. |

I loved the comfort of the room and the fact that the sofa bed was already made on arrival....also the restauraunt was fantastic ,we will definatley be returning to this hotel. The parking was very awkward and poorly lit. |

Hotel was ideally located for shopping & sightseeing in York city centre and staff very helpful Twin rooms were on the small side. No real space to put luggage. |

The location for our city weekend was perfect and the breakfast and the room were very good. There was no where to dry the towels in the bathroom when you had used them as night and needed them again in the morning. |

Location within easy walking distance but without the noise of the city at night. Modern comfortable rooms and a plentiful breakfast. Ideal for a city break for all ages and business trips. |

The comfort and the design of the room.The location a few minutes walk from the center of the town . The noise in the street outside which you can hear quite a lot when your room is located on the side of the road .There must be rooms that are much more quiet than the one we had . |

Very clean rooms & ensuite facility, tea/coffee provided in the room was just what we needed on arrival. Location fantastic for all local tourist attractions, yet far enough away not to be disturbed by any noise. We thought breakfast seemed expensive & think for the price of the room, it should be included. |
