Location is good. 5 mins walk to centre of York. Car parking opposite is expensive but very close and secure. Everything was fine so nothing negative to say.

Very welcoming and friendly. The staff were helpful and couldn't do enough for you. We really enjoyed our stay that we have booked up again. Would totally recommend this hotel.

Location Cleanliness Expensive for food would have eaten in if prices in restaurant and bar were not so high. Hotel not much different from travel lodge but a lot more expensive.

Well located to the old town and all attractions. The large bed was fabulous, comfortable with lovely white duvet & pillow covers. Good size bathroom & a good shower. Staff supper friendly & helpful. Nowhere to park and unload the car on arrival, however, the parking is across the road from the hotel. No air-conditioning and the window only opened a small amount resulting in a very warm room on a sunny day. There is only one lift and it is quite slow, can be a problem in the morning at check-out time.

Good breakfast. Room was not cleaned properly. Not many surfaces in the room and they hadn't been dusted. There is a Travelodge across the road where you could stay in the same level of comfort for a much reduced price.

I liked the modern feel. The sheets were very clean. The shower was great. I didn't like the dust on the blinds and the top of the head board. I prefer to have a choice of feather/man-made pillows. The duvet likewise - because it is not made from natural fibres it was too hot for the time of year.

Good location with parking and quiet surrounding but easy access into centre. Clean and tidy, good breakfast and comfy beds. No proper bedside tables (just hollows in headboard) for drinks and no fridge in room. Furnishing in rooms was a bare with no pictures.

Staff very friendly, bar area fine and drinks service good room clean and bed comfortable breakfast adequate Room was fine - no frills but price didn't match ( £98 ) at £70 would seemed good price point. Breakfast coffee dreadful!

Friendly warm welcome. The best bits of the city were pointed out to us on a pocket map. Kids were given colouring pencils and a couple of drawings which they loved. The room was nicely done out and a good size for the four of us. Plenty of tea/coffee/milk and biscuits too to keep weary parents going! Hotel is in a convenient location for walking into town. Overall a great trip and a very pleasant stay.

Rooms not very big and felt like we were in a box especially as our first room looked straight onto a brick wall. The dark decor dirsnt help.No air conditioning!! Only 1 lift so best option was the stairs, no bar open in the evening. Not impressed and wouldn't recommend or stay again although staff were lovely

Nice clean modern hotel, good location, no problems checking in , nice comfortable beds\ bed linen. Will definitely be going back in July. Just thought the price was a little expensive for the lack of facilities.

Great location, perfect for exploring the shops & nightlife of York. Very helpful staff, good value for money & excellent parking. Not overly modern, comfortable and clean. Perfect for what we needed. Would stay again. Nothing!
