Reception helpful and pro-active, room and bathroom satisfactory. Pleasant evening meal in the dining room with obliging staff. Location of hotel perfect for our requirements. Need a map or guide to find ones way about upstairs, but it is an old building. |

The rooms were clean and tidy. They were pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast was dreadful, - waited for 1 hour to be served a cup of tea. Very short staffed. Everything was fried, oily mushrooms. Cups filthy - several with brown sugary rim. |

The peace and tranquility of the surroundings. I found the rooms a little claustrophobic as I could not open the window wide enough for fresh air to circulate. It was very very hot and with no air conditioning the humidity was unbearable. I also think there should be more staff as we had to wait 45 mins one morning for someone to even come and ask us for our breakfast preferance. |

You would have to pay us to stay at this hotel again ... and the answer would still be no .. absolutely the worst hotel we have stayed in for many many years and we travel a lot!!! The staff clearly had not had one minute of training in any respect. Request for a fan in the room was totally ignored. We have never shared our room with so many insects. The lift broke down. The whole hotel was so tired they had even painted around a drooping pice of cable so that half matched the wall and half the skirting board!!! Words fail me! Sweltering hot ... allegedlly had air con ... where? Not apparent. Breakfast extremely mediocre .. cheapest of ingredients .. We feed our dogs better quality sausages than were served for breakfast. |

Comfortable and very well appointed .Very convenient for all activities associated with Snowdonia and North Wales generally. Although the staff were always courteous and very appollogetic the bar meal service in the evening and at breakfast was not up to standard,we waited about 45 mins after ordering on both occassions. The reason given was that there had been a large coach party in the hotel at the time |

close to Lanberis station for mountain train and many other attractions so we did not need to use a car the only complaint was that breakfast is a bit disorganised with everyone wanting to get away early, maybe an earlier start time would solve the problem |

Convenient for all the things we wanted to do. Very pleasant surroundings. Not enough twin bedrooms - we had to share a double bed - we have had twin beds for years for comfort. |

Location, close to snowdon. Staff were friendly, but their level of service was poor. Food service was very slow, breakfast service was very poor lack of food and slow service - understaffed. Decoration was in poor repair, hotel needed updating. Single room size was very cramped, shower took 10mins to heat up and pressure was poor. |

Perfect location if you would like to go to Mount Snowdom. Railway station is just acros the street, and the climbing path starts in front of the hotel. Our room was very small, warm and located above the kitchen with no view (kinda frosted glass). Form the adventure point of view this was not to bad but if we had stayed longer we would have asked for another room. Service in the reastaurant can be very slow. |

A clean hotel room with a good breakfast. Location was very good for Snowdon. The bar food was shockingly poor for the money |

The view from the breakfast room. Breakfast staff and night reception staff. poorly lit corridors, faded and dusty carpets. Layout of hotel ( I had to walk for betwen 5 -7 minutes to get to my room ) and limited menu choices.Disapointing, not good value for money. i will not be staying there in the future. |

Very dissapointed We were very disappointed, the hotel was very dirty and not worth the money that we paid. We arrive at the hotel at 12 (check in at 14pm). We were asked to wait till 14pm. We came back at 14pm but the room was not ready yet, we had to wait another 20 min - totaly unacceptable |

Location of hotel based on activities we wished to pursue. Hotel was in pretty setting. Hallways and elevators; need to take two different elevators to get to third floor. |

A haven of peace and tranquillity, this family run residence is immersed within 7 acres of private grounds on a secluded hillside setting, boasting spectacular views of Snowdonia’s National Park. |
Within Caernarfon’s ancient medieval town walls, this friendly guest house is within 200 metres of the Castle, the Menai Straits, the Marina and the Galeri Theatre. |
Set within a beautiful Victorian residence, this charming hotel is the only accommodation in Porthmadog to be awarded a star rating by the AA and Visit Wales. |
On the banks of the Menai Strait and at the water’s edge of Snowdonia, this hotel is halfway between Bangor and Caernarfon, equal distance from Isle Of Anglesey and Snowdonia. |
