Staff was really nice, polite and friendly. I could get any assistance I needed and they where there for me even through out the night.Scenery was just stunning and the location of the hotel was great. I'm a night owl so it was really pleasant when I could get a cup of coffee after 2AM and also night receptionist was able to guide me to the nearest 24/7 shop. Also I read a lot of complaints about the rooms being too hot, so why on earth would you not turn down the thermostat or not switch off the heating at all. My stay in the hotel was really enjoyable. The weather got spoiled by a heavy rain, though it's in no way has anything to do with the hotel. Couple of the light bulbs weren't working so I called maintenance man who replaced them in no time.

I liked the Hotel's location, its proximity to other areas of natural beauty and it represented excellent value for money for a short break. I liked the Receptionist's flexibility in offering two alternative rooms when the first one proved unsuitable due to my mobility problem. There was nothing I didn't like about the Hotel and it suited us well. I would return and would hope to see an ongoing programme of modernisation as this appears overdue in certain areas, but certainly nothing that you could say spoilt our time at the Legacy Royal Victoria.

Clean, lovely bathroom. Great sized room. One small 'moan' the two mattresses made an uncomfortable ridge in the middle of the bed (Room 210). Staff were friendly helpful and polite. Dining room staff (dinner) could do with some training - not a major complaint, just a suggestion, to help give a better service. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will use the hotel again, when we are next in the area.

Great location for those interested in walking in the nearby mountains. The hotel decor is a bit dated and it shows.

The location was perfect as we wanted to climb Snowdan. The rooms and food were great value for money. We had a lovely stay. It needs better waiter service at breakfast and dinner time? After being seated we were left for more than 15 mins, we had to leave our seats and ask a member of staff if we could have our order taken, three times out of our 3 night stay. Other people also seemed to have the same problem. The first time it happened two couples came in after us, they were seated, had their orders taken and had their food brought over before we realised we had been forgotten about. Being out of season meant the resturant was almost empty every morning / evening so we couldnt understand why it kept happening to us or other guests. Apart from that we couldnt fault our stay at the Legacy Victoria Hotel.

Great location, freindly staff, clean but with a nice period feel about the building and fittings, plenty of parking and above all £30 per room for a Sunday night was fantastic value. Much better option than b&b for our planned days walking. And the cooked breakfast was spot on - we'll be back sometime soon...

Great location and value for money. Breakfast upgrade for £2.50 each was astonishing value given the quality of the cooked breakfast. Room clean and tidy - bathroom worked fine. Bar meals - again great quality and value. Didnt know what to expect - but exceeded expectations. Location was great too. Staff on reception very helpful when asking for advice on local amenities. You should advertise the bike store more prominantly. We didnt know it had one - and it was great to store our mountain bikes in overnight and on days when we were not using them. Dont under sell your self.

Convenient location I booked the hotel part way through a walking trip based on the the information available on the booking website; "Bedrooms have baths and showers and satellite tv ". They do not. My room, a considerable distance from the main hotel area through a series of corridors, had only a shower (with mouldy silicone and lifting, dated tiles) and an ageing tv which couldn't manage all of the terrrestrial channels. The room overall was tired and grubby. I seemed unable to walk in or out of the hotel without making my way through cloud of cigarette smoke thanks to a constant source of people huddled in the entrance.

The location was perfect. The room was very cheap (£66 for 2 nights with breakfast). The breakfast was nice. I don't know where to start...it was ridiculously hot in the room and the hotel in general. The lrv could be a great hotel but it hasn't been updated since the 30'S...or so it seems. Not clean enough (a dead moth stayed on the windowsill for the 2 days we were there), the bed was very uncomfortable and small...the Snowdonia is perfect for the location but definitely not for a romantic escapade.

Best range of continental breakfast - included porridge, locally made real yoghurt, lots of juices. Across the road from the Snowdonia Mountain Railway. Lots and lots of car parks available. Really nice, big fluffy towels. Admittedly - we booked the cheapest room - but we were in an annex that was about a 5 minute walk from the reception & restaurant. The tv looked about 15 yrs old & only picked up 2 channels.

The position overlooking the town of Llanberis. The facilities, although, we didn't make use of them all, appeared to cater well for visitors. I appreciate that the hotel was busy but we were unable to get a table for the evening meal on the Saturday because the dining room was fully booked. May I suggest that a notice is placed on the reception desk, when you are busy, suggesting that guests need to book in the morning to ensure getting a table.

Lovely location, friendly staff, lovely room, always space to park car Would stay again, use of wi-fi down stairs which was very useful and handy Some of the food Wasn't the best The shower was a bit confusing in regards of adjusting temperature as it was hot and keeping the water turned on at the same time Could hear people walking passed the room on the squeeky floor boards but would stay again
