At the foot of Mount Snowdon, the Legacy Royal Victoria is cradled between Lakes Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peries. Bedrooms have bathtubs and showers and satellite TVs. The Snowdon Mountain Railway is within 110 yards and provides a breathtaking ride up the mountain to the summit. Rock climbing, hiking and canoeing are all available in the local area. The room was a very good size. The bed was massive, which after completing the three peaks challenge was very welcom. Facilities in the room were good, tea, coffee, television. Good size, clean bathroom. Bar area with the pool table was a bit rough to say the least. Not sure if the clientele came from the hotel or off the street ... Evening meal ordered from bar was just about okay but the upgrade to the cooked breakfast was a mistake; it wasn't great to be honest, stick to the continental, plenty of choice and lots of it.

We had a problem with our room and with some guests within the hotel. The management sorted out the problem immediatley, moved our room and upgraded us and ensured a comfortable stay for us. The staff and service was excellent.

The ambience was just right for us - we felt totally relaxed and we would not hesitate to come back again. The staff were very attentive but not intrusive. All in all an excellent weekend experience!

Location - beautiful setting and right on the edge of Snowdonia national park. Very old, dated rooms, plus we slept right next to the fire escape, which people kept trying to get into - assuming it was just drunk guests but it was very noisy. Also there's only one lift and it's extremely slow.

Affordable good place to stay with your family and relax couple of days. When we specified that we are travelling with one 5 years of kid the room allocated to us was not big enough or there was no separate bed for my kid.

The staff are always helpfull and friendly. The hotel is very good value for money. The food at breakfast is plentyful and the English breakfast is very good. The room was nice and warm and cosy. Would recommend this hotel.

Good if all you want is somewhere to sleep between climbing mountains. Room was quite small but very clean. I didn't eat at the restaurant, the breakfast was very nice though so I imagine the dinner would be nice. The hotel has plenty of parking, which you wouldn't get in the center of the town. Llanberis is a nice little village, with quite a few shops and eateries, including a Spar, ideal for walking supplies. Hotel has several bars, which I didn't actually visit, as there were children in the bar, which I don't really enjoy. However they looked perfectly fine. Staff were very friendly and helpful, giving me over breakfast advise on which mountains and trails to try. Overall I would say, it's more suitable for families than young couples. Hotel very old fashioned, not that that really bothered me. Shower however was a bit rubbish, no consistent warm water, also water or heating pipes were very noisy around 6.30 in the morning. The location is not the best, I picked this hotel because no others in the area came up on booking.com, it's a 5-10min walk to the center of Llanberis, where I discovered a plethora of B&Bs, hotels and guest houses.

The hotel is in a beautiful position. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. As a person with a disability the hotel went out of their way to accomodate my needs. I would recommend your hotel to friends.

The food options available at this hotel from reasonable priced bar meals to 3 course meals in the restaurnat, There was a good choice range on the continental breakfast and the option to upgrade to a full english for £2.50. The bed was huge and the room very comfortable.The staff were very helpfull,we had a wonderful stay.

The hotel was nice , a bit dated but that what we liked..The room was spotless, and tea/coffey making facilities in the room was welcome . Breakfast was continental and pleanty to choose from. Bar meals were nice, and priced at €12 for two! which we had each evening. Staff were helpful and the room was serviced every day. All in all we would return to do some more hill walking. The only minor fault, if any , was the extra money required to get an english breakfast !! .which we done the first morning only.
