friendly and helpful and very clean and comfortable
more choice for breakfast would have been good. Toast overdone and granary not to everyone's liking
Enthusiasm and competence of the management
The fact that your website locates this inn at Tiverton, when it is of course in Bampton. You seem to have done the same with all the pubs & B/Bs in Bampton, which, frankly, is daft.
Friendly staff, good location and fantastic ambience with many locals coming in.
Although there was a good cooked breakfast, there were no cereals on offer. Just one cup of coffee to go with it. .
The Landlord, the landlady, the dog, the food and drink, the bedroom and , although we did not meet her, the ghost
Really friendly and they let us check in early and come in late (we were attending a wedding near by).
The car park is very small (3 cars max) as is the entrance, however there is plenty of roadside parking in the area.
Had a very pleasant stay at The Quarrymans, excellent food, good atmosphere, clean and comfortable room. Would recommend staying here, ideally situated to explore North Devon. Would definitely stay here again.
Bed was comfortable and room was clean.
Having to wait for the room to heat up as heating was only put on when we arrived and it was a draughty room and was quite cold in the night. Sat on the toilet was very cold.
We went for a last minute get away, we wanted to relax and we did just that. Sat by the log fire was just the ticket.
Really friendly helpful couple running the Quarrymans- with help from Lilly the chocolate Labrador. Good pint of well kept real ale, and steak cooked perfectly. Comfy room & bed, bliss.
nothing at all
Mark & Martina were both great hosts and their passion for food and service is obvious. Mark was so helpful in catering for our early breakfast needs.
Great cooked breakfast, very friendly owners. Old style pub in lovely village.
Dogs allowed in rooms
staff friendly food good our dog made very welcome. Good location in village and ideal for walks.
the en suite was cold. no car park.
Extremely good service and excellent food, both dinner and breakfast were very good. Excellent friendly service as well.
Car park entrance a little tight and a few of the potholes need filling but that didn't dent the experience at all. All very good

Unable to sleep shouting chanting and stamping on floor of bar below this went on until 2.20am unable to get any sleep due to awful noise. a dog was in the dining/food area and the people eating were feeding it from their plate felt this unhygienic this was not a happy stay
Very pleasant couple, all homemade food. Beautiful chocolate labrador and doom bar on tap!!!!
Nothing at all.
Location - lovely little village with friendly residents, Pet friendly, Quality food, Attentive staff nothing was too much trouble, local real ales and cider on tap, Quaint 300 year old Inn, so lovely atmosphere
no evening meal on Tuesday nights, though this is highlighted in bumph and chef does need a night off!
food friendliness of staff and locals good atmosphere comfortable good range of drinks
The breakfast was superb. The staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel was clean and well run. It has a lovely bar.
The staff were very friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. The room was immaculate. Very spacious and well presented. We had an evening meal which was probably one of the best meals I have eaten. Cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced. The breakfast which is included at no extra cost was fabulous. The pub is very friendly and has a great atmosphere.
Beautiful Location Friendly Owner
Very hard bed Website says restaurant is open, when arrived found no dinner served Was told 8am was too early for breakfast, so paid for B&B but had no breakfast. Rip off. Wi-fi did not work at ALL on any device in bedroom
No cereals/fruit for breakfast
Doom Bar among the real ales. Helpful staff. No problem arriving late. Good breakfast with espresso coffee.
Location , bar, beer , room , staff, food
Had to pay:)
the area was beautiful, staff friendly, breakfast, very tasty with locally sourced ingredients! would definitely visit again. There is a chip shop within walking distance!
the full cream UHT milk cartons in the room made our coffee taste bad and the dirty cups were not replaced or the empty packets taken away. the bin in the bathroom did not have a bag in it. the car park was extremely difficult to get into as the entrance was so small on a narrow part of the street. the evening menu has recently changed from lots of items suiting most tastes to 'fine dining' and a much smaller menu - read menu before booking.these were the only things I can think of as we very much enjoyed our stay.
