High price for small room (& Green Wall Paper!)
Good position, friendly staff, quiet room, good en suite facilities and a superb breakfast. What more do you want?
View , staff
lovely location overlooking the harbour. Clean and tidy. Great breakfast. I'd stay again for sure.
A bit pricey but hey ho. No lifts ( or I couldn't find them)
Food in the restaurant is lovely - fish soup and mussels!
Well located with friendly staff. A roaring fire and board games and coffee for the evenings, a classic Brixham breakfast in the morning. Cosy bedrooms - spend the extra and get a room with a view, it is well worth it
Nothing. But if you're not a lover of stairs, you may be challenged.
The location was good, the view was fantastic. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good.
The staff were polite and helpful
The room was noisey and badly ventilated When I complained we were shown two other rooms both on the same side of the hotel and both having the same noise which could also be heard along the corridor the room was hot and stuffy despite the window being open due to the fact that a conservatory type building without windows was outside the bedroom The duvet was heavy and lumpy I slept really badly
Location : comfortable room : fabulous harbour view : lovely make-over of restaurant : friendly staff : free parking within walking distance
Decor in most of the hotel is tired
Last visit 15 years ago, just as good Food excellent value for the money Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. We will return.
Would have liked the Car Park to have been closer, but with the position of the Hotel no chance.
Got the sea view room and it was worth it: the view on the bay and town is definitely attractive even on a rainy day! Hotel decor is a bit outdated but somehow it's part of the hotel's charm! Extremely friendly staff, clean room, very good food at restaurant, reserved parking nearby, walking distance from all local amenities.
The food the position
The size of the hotel the cleanliness this hotel is in need of more than a coat of paint ie furnishings curtains carpets cushions bed linen everything
Most local attractions still open. All the staff were friendly and helpful Location overlooking the harbour Food was good value and very good selection of fish. Would certainly visit again.
henry lister bar . breakfast . close to harbour with good views . nice staff .
room we had on third floor 26 had very strange positioned shower over bath .could not stand up to have shower ,so had to take head off bar to use, needs bath taken out and have proper shower cubicle fitted.did not like steps up to bathroom could be dangerous for older people . too many stairs to this room .we have stayed here before had double snug on second floor and though a bit small it was a lot better for us.
Location, food & friendly staff
Shower in our room & stairs a bit of a challenge. Not suitable unless fit
The food at this hotel was very good. It is an award winning restaurant and although not an extensive list everything on the menu was well cooked and fresh.
The hotel could do with an update in the decoration and fittings. Although the hotel was clean it was the little things that let it down including the rather outdated and worn decoration and the fittings in the bedrooms.
Lovely fishing town with lots of places to eat and drink would definitely recommend.
The price, £130.00 a night in September a bit much I feel as we booked much early summer price I think, but would return .
Friendly staff comfortable bed staff got birthday balloons for our room for when we arrived
Having to go home
The views were lovely
A great location with an excellent restaurant
Very relaxed atmosphere with some lovely harbour view rooms and an excellent dining experience. Useful parking close by, easy walk to town centre and for other transport, Not super posh but very comfortable, really good stay
Nothing at all.
