Great location, lovely breakfast, great atmosphere and good music in The Ernie Lister Bar. Car park is a real bonus. Booked early and got free upgrade to four poster room with balcony. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Room above us had creaky floorboards but didn't disturb us too much. Our room was a bit hot but a fan was provided and we could open the patio door onto the balcony.

Wonderful location(get sea view if available). Excellent restaurant. Really friendly staff. Quirky interesting hotel with loads of character.

Unloading outside the hotel by car tricky but the price of the location.

Hotel close to town, only a short walk to get to shops/cafes/ sights. Helpful staff. Good service- and good food- at breakfasts (wasn't there for other meals). Bar available if you just wanted a quiet drink. Seat available on upper floor if you needed a breather on your way to your room!

    Nothing I disliked.

Fantastic view of the harbour from the room's window. Great location, right in the heart of Brixham. The staff were very friendly and exceedingly helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

The car park was quite a walk away but this is understandable due to the location of the hotel. Quite heavy bedding was provided considering I stayed in the height of summer - the room got very warm and I couldn't have the window open at night as it would have been too noisy. Tiny bathroom and shower, could do with being upgraded

Room 17 was like an oven and overheated to a point that it was difficult to breath not good for siomeone who has copd like myself even though it had 2 fans and a air con unit. we also had probems with the narrow stairs if i stayed again it would have to be ground floor. we left a day early but the managment were very good and understanding

Excellent location with superb harbour view, access to balcony, ideal in the hot July weather. Good restaurant. Short distance from harbour and travel on the variety of boat trips. Hotel free car park.

Worth the many stairs for room on upper floor.

Perfect position - just loved the view from our room - friendly efficient staff - very comfortable bed - good food

Menu could be a bit more exciting - if you were there for longer than a week it could become a little repetative

    food, and view.

Beds where single, but can see why, with very small steep stairways and narrow landings, as a bed and breakfast place this is idea, the parking was a hike to get to and from, if you have bad legs. Some times trying to park in the car park was a night mare, as no spaces ?.

They did evening meals, which meant that we did not have to go into town of a night to eat. The service was very good. We liked the room with the sea view.

The car park was too far away. It might have only been 350 yards, but they were difficult yards, and I am partially disabled, and found it very difficult.

Great spot overlooking the beautiful harbour. Good food, friendly staff and live music - all a stone's throw from the shops and harbour. Free car park about 300 metres awy (worth it's weight in gold).

    Nothing really.
