Everything cant fault this hotel at all stayed many times always fantastic service and quality worth every penny
Fresh, crunchy apples in room and a bowl in the foyer - really lovely, unusual touch. Staff really helpful - printed off maps for places we wanted to go. Beautiful room, comfortable and luxurious.
Helpful staff. Lovely building in a great location. Great room.
Breakfast was expensive. For £15 you would expect to be able to have Cooked breakfast AND cerial etc if you fancy, but you have to pay seperatly for Cooked/Continental breakfast.
Having stayed in a club room before I booked a deluxe double this time and was also given a free upgrade when we arrived, however I couldn't tell the difference between the room I stayed in previously (a cheaper room) to the one I had already paid more for and what had also been upgraded. This was dissapointing.
The bed was wonderful. Loved the apples and cookies and hospitality tray in the room. Towels lovely and fluffy. Staff courteous and helpful
Breakfast pricey as was the cost of the room
The Hotel was excellent, for location, cleanliness the bed was the best I have ever slept in and the staff upgraded me to the Balcony Suite which was fantastic
Room was very pleasant and bed was extremely comfortable
Continental breakfast was extremely poor for the price. Very limited selection of food and croissants were not clearly fresh and had the appearance of being shop bought.
Bed was really comfortable, and the Yorkshire breakfast was amazing. Everything was hot and fresh, much better than the buffet style of other hotels.
Two minor complaints. Bar service was non-existent. We got bag from a gig and fancied a nightcap, as did several other guests. There were about a dozen people waiting for a drink, but no-one serving. At checkout the following morning we waited 30 minutes behind a group of 5 people who were being checked out by the one receptionist. It was painful!!
Comfort of bed. Excellent front of house lady, great personality
Bit noisy in room due to road noise
Upon arrival we were greeted with a very friendly welcome. The staff especially front of house (reception) are very professional, courteous, and friendly. The hotel is very stylish with plush furnishings. The ambiance is second to none. PERFECT!!!
Room was very comfy, lovely bed, good toiletries.
The 50quid deposit at check in. Surely a credit card swipe is sufficient? There needs to be more staff available at the reception desk. We waited in a queue for over 20 mins to check out.
A very comfortable bed and nice range of toiletries and tea and coffee
Only downside was the road noise. Would benefit from double glazing to sound proof Windows and stop the draught
The staff, the location being in the city centre, close to facilities.
At night as we were so close to the city centre we did hear some noise.
The location was good
Everything but the location. On arrival, I was told that parking is on a first come, first serve basis (which is fine) however, I was directed to the nearby multi storey and the hotel charged me £12.95. The room, situated on the 5th floor, was cramped and tight, whilst leaning over the sink and brushing my teeth, I burnt myself on the radiator behind me. There was no room to keep luggage and no mirror with a socket nearby to get ready, unless you sat on the floor and trailed the electrical leads across the bathroom door. The bed was far to soft, with no support and an apparent V-shape into the middle. We both awoke with severe aches and pains, so much so that my partner has rebooked with her chiropractor. So what didn't we like. Well, I was asked on check out how my stay was and when starting my response to the question, was met with a lady tapping in details to the card machine, far more interested in processing my payment than listening to my concerns, with no other customers waiting. I will pay a good rate to receive excellent service and a great experience, visiting Quebecs following a friends recommendation however, this stay was abysmal. The total being nearly £150 for a poor bed for one night with appalling service and a below par, overpriced breakfast (£24 for one bowl of cereal, 2 slices of toast for partner, 2 slices toast and 2 eggs for me - coffee and fruit juice each). We came to Quebecs for a lovely evening away and left with aches, pains and a very poor opinion of what was said to be a good hotel. I will share this experience with others, how worrying that the hotel staff did not even listen on check out to my concerns, leading to this review.
The building is s nicely preserved Victoria pile
Room at front on second floor dreadfully noisy. The hotel is sited on one of the busiest through roads in Leeds. And on a Friday night the roads were busy all night. Room a bit gloomy and the heating faulty. Shower was tired. Needs a refurb.
the style of the venue. Elegant but not formal. The staff make you feel like you are part of a genteel club where nothing is too much trouble for them. We were able to leave our bags after a good night at the hotel and go shopping and then we sat in the bar whilst we killed time before our train. Wonderful
THE SUITE WAS THE BEST I HAVE EVER STAYED IN LARGE BUT VERY COSY THE STAFF WERE BRILLIANT CAROLINE ON RECEPION COULD DO ENOUGH TO HELP AND BARSTAFF REALLY FRIENDLY BREAKFAST IS EXPENSIVE BUT IS WORTH IT COOKED TO ORDER AND TASTY ANOTHER 10/10
THERE IS NOTHING BAD I CAN SAY ABOUT THE HOTEL ITSELF THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS IT WAS A BIT NOISY EARLY MORNING WITH TRAFFIC BUT I WAS ON THE GROUND FLOOR I STILL HAD A REALLY GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP BED VERY LARGE AND VERY COSY
Hotel felt like a country house hotel in the middle of the city. Very comfortable. Great friendly staff who are very obliging. Caroline on reception and David in the bar are a great asset to the hotel. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Breakfast very expensive.
A warm, friendly welcome and excellent customer service. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Have already recommended to friends and family and Quebecs will be my number one choice when next in Leeds.
comfortable and clean
the vegetarian breakfast was greasy expensive and disappointingly unhealthy, the cafetière coffee was thin and weak, when I was offered more coffee the waitress just put more hot water on the remaining grounds - not good.
A small hotel with everything you needed.
I could hear the traffic despite having double glazed windows
The beds are always so comfortable and the rooms are a great size. Has charm and character and the food is great.
My only complaint is the road noise if you're at the front.
I liked everything about this hotel. It is close to the train station, quiet, clean, and the staff is wonderful. I would definitely stay here again if I found myself in Leeds.
Welcome Room Comfort Refridgerator Bathrobe & slippers
Though a 12:00 book out was displayed it felt as if we should leave earlier as the staff came to re-set the room at 09:15.
