It was a good location for my daughter and I as we had tickets for the Ice show at the Pleasure Beach, the breakfast was very good and the staff overall were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very tired and could do with a complete overall, it was like stepping back into the eighties and the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The shower was a complete waste of time and the furniture in the room was very basic and falling apart.

Location. Most staff were friendly apart from one young short haired blonde female receptionist. The walls around the window were cracked allowing gale force winds to blow through. No heating during the day.

The staff was the best thing about the hole place Were do I start the room was not the cleanest, if you moved in the shower you would not of got wet. Ther was no hot water in the shower. Had cold shower all weekend. The mold round the bath in the shower, the dust on the loo roll holder you could tell this had not been touch for a long time as it hung as you walked through the halls the smell of mustie was bad. As taling to the other guests there seem to be no hot showers some ran there for 30min,

The location as a seaside hotel is the only thing going for it. The room was sub standard, a bit out dated and did have some minor dirt in bathroom. The staff, especially senior staff did not care about complaints or any concerns we had. I was suppossed to stay two nights but left after 4 hours as I was disgusted. I would not recommend this hotel to an enemy.

The theatre bar. And staff .The hotel is of old splendour and needs totally upgrading, the breakfast was on the small side when refurbished it would be better as a buffet breakfast and not waiter service. Breakfast was 8 till 9 which is rather a short time, after all you are on hols!

Taking my grandchildren away for the weekend we found the swimming pool a very good bonus as they all like swimming so it broke the boredom of just shopping and walking about and they and my self enjoyed the full size pool. The staff were very friendly and the bedding and towels were very fresh. The only drawback is that as a lot of busy hotels in this area it could do with a little uprade, this would not stop us from using the hotel again

The location is very good . We have seen the hotel many times. This is the first time we had stayed at the hotel, which offered us everything we wanted in our stay. The room was spacious ,had a sea view, the bar was open late and had parking. On the whole the hotel was good apart from the breakfast which was a bit basic and I was still hungry after eating it. Also the bathroom in our room had a unpleasent smell ,which was rectified by leaving the extractor fan on while we went out for the evening

the staff and the food were excellent, we asked for adjoining rooms but on arrival were seperate, within minutes the recepionist had sorted this out. nothing was too much trouble, the servic eat brekfast was excellent and the food was the same. had read reviews about the hotel which described the decor as tired and would tend to agree with this, alot of updating is needed however this did not put us off we intend to stay there again.

The staff were very attentive and could not have helped more. Jacuzzi broke down the first day we were there. Radiator in my room was on maximum and no way of turning it down. Uncomfortably hot at night.

The swimming pool and the Gym, the food and the very very pleasant and helpfull staff. As a consiquence my wife's fater in law has already booked up a week and my son and partner will be booking a week in May shortly. Room 14 needs a bit of a refurb, tape on and off the windows and a bit of "black" on the windowsills and bathroom but not "Dirty or Smelly"

Mostly ok Locks on room doors, took me 10 minutes one day to lock it and it never got better. Antiquated tv's unable to change channel with remote. Whilst I would stay again when opportunity occurs, hotel could do with some refurshibment.

The staff, the room, the food. The staff were rude and argumentative. The room was dirty and stank. The food was at best 'Poor'. It was a very bad experience and one we wouldn't want to experience again.
