location is excellent. comfy bed and good price
The walls were quite dirty and the bathroom small
The room was very basic which we didn't mind but the furniture was old and shabby and rickety, the room was filthy, including the bathroom and we couldn't close the curtains because only half of it was attached to the curtain track. The radiator was on full blast and we couldn't turn it down so it was like sleeping in a hothouse. I found a condom wrapper under my bed presumably from the previous occupant. I had about 5 insect bites on my body after the first night. I would never stay here again!
Location opposite the park and near station.
Rooms in need of decor. Very small rooms Nothing much around this part need buses or train
Was quieter than expected. Beds were comfortable.
Bit run down, but picture on website is accurate.
There was nothing to like really...Very poor hotel...How they can justify their prices???
I do not know where to start so best not to...
Location is definetly good for muslim as there is a lot of halal food eateries
Me and wife are carrying 2 huge luggage and the staff give us a room at level 3 with no lift and narrow stairs.. lucky me that I can carry it up but for others, might not be that convenient at all.. staff didnt even attempt to help us switch rooms.. the lights are not working, heater arent working well... a lot of maintenance needed...
It was clean n comfortable
Cheap and convenient location as I had a meeting in the area early the next morning
Curtains were dirty and ripped and so was the shower. While taking a shower the water was going all over the floor and soaked up the whole towel provided for the floor. Bed was a little uncomfortable but like I said you get what you paid for
Very basic room but very clean. Just what we needed as a base for the night. Staff brilliant couldn't do enough for us, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if needed to come back. Thank you
Staff very helpful (took my request for a quiet room into account), room clean and comfortable, mostly quiet and peaceful. Close to public transport links. Great value for money, would definitely stay here again!
Wifi not brilliant, but adequate - not awful. Mattress a little springy in places - could have done with a couple more pillows. A little noise from other rooms, but not a lot. Would have been better if heating had been off when I arrived, rather than heating on full blast and windows open! But all minor things - generally very happy.
the staff and the location
it was average the room was had strange proportions we asked for a double but we had 2 singles
Everything else, never ever good here, worst hotel by far, it was like saw the movie with a tv and two single beds terrible purchase
Basic but Clean and reasonably priced easy walk to tube nice large cafe/breakfast area
Bathroom clean but a bit tired
There were only one set of keys so if you are in a group you have to enter and leave together. Went for a shower @ 7am but the water was cold so (No Shower)
Not a lot
Room small very basic fine to just sleep but not relax
Cheap for an easy location to get to after a day out in London. About ten minutes on the tube from st pancras. Staff were friendly.
Felt like we were being sent to the servants quarters round the back of the main hotel. Very basic facilities, needs a bit of upkeep with cracks dodgily filled and needs a lick of paint. But it was a bed for the night and we didn't expect anymore
This was a very basic hotel with very few amenities but it was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful
The en suite was very small and the room was extremely hot with no means of adjusting the temperature. The side light did not work and there was no plug for the basin
It was very had to find teh entrance. The hotel has a different name on the window. The bathroom was very old.
The location was perfect, cafés and restaurants nearby and many other shops. Went to London to see Bonobo at the Alexandra Palace and this hotel was only 3 stops away which was ideal. Room was comfy, clean and warm.
Staff we're a little careless, didn't talk much or thank us for choosing to stay with them, seemed almost as if they couldn't care less. Bathroom was tiny, could barely get my hand in the sink.
Location the hotel was very convenient for Finsbury park tube and parking was a bonus
The hotel is an annex of the main penury hotel. The whole building is in need of a revamp. Our family room was spacious enough although it was not possible to turn on the heating -just as well it wasn't too cold. Basic furniture and the bathroom was little more than a closet with a rusty non working radiator there was selotape on the window to keep out draughts and condensation was terrible. The female staff in the restaurant were miserable and unhelpful and the inclusive breakfast was tasteless muesli or cornflakes and toast. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in but what do you expect for the price
Simple breakfeast, but with all that was needed (toast, cereals, juice, coffe...). They don't guarantee, but I could reach their wi-fi from my room.
The rooms could be cleaner. The hotel looks like a secondary choice behind the "good hotel".
Staff were friendly and helpful. The parking was secure off the street, and they let me leave my car there for 4 hours after we had checked out. The room was basic but was much better and cleaner than other reviews suggest, for £30 a night in London it's ideal!
Everything else I wouldn't let me dog sleep in the room!
Only stopped there for one night and was a great location and decent hotel
