the location of the hotel is great. you are in the center of London in 10 minutes via the underground. the breakfast is good
when arriving un my room, it was not tidy at all. some hairs were left on the floor. the Wales where so thin that I could nearly hear everything that was going on in the room next to mine. Anyway when I woke up, a nice surprises was waiting for me: the bathroom (very tiny) was equipped with a shower where water could not sink. so I needed to take a quick shower if I did not wanted to flood the batheroom. the internet does not work in the room. the quality clearly not reflect the price. very disappointed
There was nothing in particular wrong with the hotel. It was very cheap, especially for London, and though the room was a bit small it was clean and had a functional ensuite bathroom.
palm-sized wash basin, bags of laundry in the hallway, weird smell in rooms, expensive.
very basic breakfast very small rooms
Good location to finsbury park as we went to wireless festival
The grotty queens wing we were given...hotel reception was lovely then we were taken to our room out the back in some dingey building the curtains were hanging off of the rail (2min job to put them back on) was meant to be a double room and had 2 single beds...the tv didnt work properly and the bathroom i wouldnt wish my worst enemy to wash in the shower head was hanging off the wall and the whole room was full of mould and a mix match of tiles not somewhere i would ever step foot in again!! Breakfast stated it was included in the price and it was just toast or cereal anything else had to be paid for!! Im not sure how they can even sell rooms in such poor conditions it was vile!!
The location due to wireless festival
The room was horrible and smelly, mouldy shower and paper thin walls! Not what the pictures looked like at all! Never again
Bed sheets and towels were clean. Staff was nice. Breakfast was bare minimum, but the eating area was nice.
Quite a way from the center of town. Run down neighborhood (not where you want to be with young children). Bathrooms were disgusting. Depressing little place hidden behind a nicer hotel which you have to go through to get to the Queens Drive Hotel.
No wifi in room, which was tiny and dirty. Will not recommend to others
It sparkled from the minute we walked through the door. Particularly liked the outdoor tables in the morning.
Comfortable beds, secure parking and conveniently situated in short walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Tiny Shower room and WC and only one pillow.
-the breakfast is good and everything is fine
-only the attitude of reception of the next hotel was so so...
Excellent location near Tube & Bus - good parking service, nice and helpful staff. Easy accessible by car, simple but efficient breakfast, clean room, good tele, fridge in the room, good coffeemaking facilities, all okay - quite spacey room for four, nice beds.
We had a quadruple room- some suggestions for improvement might be to put up some lights near the beds, to get a new or different shower head - that was all a bit worn and old. Also the shower could only be used sitting in the bath... since it was under the roof (low ceiling) one could not stand in the shower.
The only hotel we found with a triple room. Close to Finsbury park and tube station.
Dirty bedlinen. Breakfast (included in the price) was a bowl of cereal. Photos on website are not from any part of the hotel we saw. Expected much more for the money.
Staff were lovely
Room was really small. Should have paid the extra money to be in the front hotel
Easy access to Finsbury Park Tube. Quiet tucked-away location. Main hotel facilities were very nice (The Pembury). The staff were very helpful.
Room was a bit sparse and "tired". Shower room was old. Pretty basic accommodation.
The location was directly opposite finsbury park which was the venue for the gf we were going to so we could not have been more pleased with how close we were to our destination.
The hotel is part of some kind of complex and is enclosed in the grounds of another larger hotel (the Pembury hotel) but is not sign posted or identified at all! We found it entirely by chance as there was another couple walking around confused as we were. I would recommend some kind of sign to let people know this!
I liked how helpful the staff were to me, they were all so lovely! I'll stay again - thank you
Nothing! It was perfect for what I needed :)
We changed to stay in the adjoining Pembury hotel - much nicer.
Asked for twin room, non smoking - we were given double bed in a very small, smoky room. Staff helped us upgrade to other facility.
I liked the fact that it was nearby a tube station, had free parking and breakfast included (trying to be polite calling it breakfast)
It is assumed that since you choose a budget hotel you don't expect a glamorous room but, they have no excuse for dirty drapes, walls and smelling bad all over. In addition, the hotel personnel is lacking a lot the sense of tourism business. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!
parking charge £10 a day which wasn't mentioned on the website. Reception staff not very friendly but great location and cozy room.
Breakfast and reception staff
Clean rooms, absolutely fair prices. Well located (close to underground, bus, shops, pubs, bank) and very quiet at nights. Friendly staff and 24h reception. We enjoyed our stay!
Great staff. Having parking included made a big difference. For the price we paid we couldn't complain.
Being in a separate building to the main hotel.
Stay away from this bare-bone hotel. Located close to metro but surrounded by welfare home and scary buildings. Room is not cleaned thoroughly when we arrived. Room is tiny but called triple-room. The bathroom is tiny, too disgusting to take shower. The sink is smaller than my salad bowl. Bed is so saggy. Lock is not electronic. Only one power outlet in bathroom. Wi-fi does not work in room. No elevator. Not worth the money. Breakfast is just milk, and sliced bread. If you want anything else, you got to pay for it additionally.
Price was good
Staff were not very friendly, facilities in room extremely basic, beds not very comfy, missing castors meant the bed was leaning
