The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff very pleasant, and the food is excellent. Nothing really, if I was being picky, the exterior of The Queens Head could do with decorating, it's looking s little tired!

Good value - £50 for room and excellent breakfast. Staff were attentive, polite and friendly. Comfortable bed. Restaurant area was cosy with an open fire and the food was very good. Area very quiet and peaceful with fantastic views. Cream carpet in the room was very dirty due to lack of a capable doormat and the damp weather over the last few months. Bathroom was functional but not attractive and in need of updating (lot of white tiles with old grouting). Hot water ran out after one bath. Only 1 available plug socket near the dressing table - and it had the TV in it, so if you want to get ready with anything electrical (hairdryer, etc), then no TV.

Staff very welcoming. Pub bar very cosy. Food superb, best breakfast for fruit I have had anywhere, almost not necessary to have the cooked course although that is not to be missed. Evening meal also excellent. Room couldn't be better and the views from the dining room are superb.

Room was very comfotable, loads of space, well equipped. Food was wonderful. Staff very helpful 5 star experience. The front gave the impression of small country pub, but the inside transformed into a tardis.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ian the owner lent us a book showing some lovely walks. The breakfasts and dinners were amazing. The fruit platter at breakfast was a meal in itself. Husband, kevin tucked into the full English and will stay in his memory for a long time. Wonderful countryside, what more could you wanr?

The view from the dining room was stunning!! All the staff were helpful and friendly. The address was confusing as on the internet it says Leyburn but The Queens Head is in Finghall.
