It was a nice hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The bar and seating area provided a good area for relaxation. The breakfast also provided a good variety of food.

The location is good and the bar and breakfast area is quite nice.

The frontage is tatty and is not inviting. The car park is horrible, old wood/doors stored there, circular saw in there? And not a nice entrance route to the hotel. The room was tatty, inner window was ill fitting, flag outside was noisy. The bathroom was a bit dirty, leaking shower screen, patched hole in ceiling. There was no hot water for at least 24 hrs (no water in tap for 6hrs) - no apology, no discount!. The 4 poster bed looked ok but cover on top caked in dust, and stain on lower matress. This hotel is not worth the money.... It's a £50 a night hotel at most and only because of its location.

It's so handy for all your needs,night time was good for local restaurants,and all in walking distance

Very clean and comfortable, ideal for shopping and going out if you fancy a drink will be back again thankyou.

Location was ideal, just by the Moot Hall in the centre of town. Food was of limited range but well cooked and generous portions

Parking was good, room was cheap, bed was well comfy and we could see the mountains from our room. Tv was cool and breakfast was good.

One staff member was a bit weird, and the room we were in was very antique but not in a good way everything else was spot on.

Clean room, comfy bed, working bathroom. Straight out of front door into Keswick High Street. Magnificent view of Skiddaw from the room. Easy and convenient parking. Good beer in the bar. Considerably better price than competing B+Bs in Keswick centre. Free wi-fi worked without fuss.

The breakfast sausage was a bit bready.

Bar staff friendly, comfortable bed and decent tv. Good choice for breakfast - speedy service even though they got orders wrong sometimes.

Although it offered free internet, this didn't work and reception staff just shrugged it off. The bedding was not changed during our stay and the bed was just re-made (badly!). The tea and coffee was not refreshed on one occasion. It was difficult to operate the stiff bath and shower taps as shower-screen was in the way. Dirty bathroom. Very thin walls - could hear people talking and showering etc next door.

Only the location.

We did not have hot water in our shower and the hotel would not make adjustments for the inconvenience.

Great location and good value for money!
