Small B&B. Great location, super close to the subway and some stores. Very kind service.
The reception staff were extremely helpful. Very cheap for The London area.
I had the single ensuite room and whilst it was cleanish all of the furniture was old, tired and the bed was extremely uncomfortable- I don't think I would be wrong in suggesting the mattress was at least 20 years old with lumps and bumps and when your body moves the springs that are poking through are very noisy. The other bits of mish mash furniture were all chipped and battered. The toilet whilst cleanish was very stained, the carpet whilst hoovered was threadbare and the grained in dirt made me want to stand on something to wipe my feet before getting into bed.
location, long walk up hill from tube, then past lot of dogy houses.breakfast was poor and served with attitude, bed was basic, shower didnt work properly-either scalding hot water or cold
Most of the staff were friendly and quite helpful, the English breakfast was good and could have seconds of toast and coffee. location was quiet. My husband can't walk to far and did ask for a rm with not many stairs when I booked it and we we're put on the ground floor which was good.
BED was awful mattress was so uncomfortable we hardly slept, could feel every spring and when you sat on it you could feel the base underneath, shower rm too small it was like going to the toilet in a cupboard, clean budget b&b could do with a bit of tidying up decor wise and deffo need new beds!!!
Location was good
Shared toilet and shower. Dirty, small and very noisy in the morning (staff cleaning rooms and doing breakfast)
Quite area Tube and shops not far. Comfy bed , TV English breakfast , plenty toast
VERY noisy toilet fan. I think the hot water ran out one day , so a cold shower.
We were looking for a hotel near Tufnell Park tube. The breakfast was nice.
the room was smelly and was not very clean (hairs on the sheets etc). In general a very basic hotel. London is expensive for hotels but for GBP 100 a night this is not a very good deal, a more reasonable price would have been in the range of 70-80 Sterling.
Place near tube station- 2 zones.Small , nice house,tasty english breakfest.Price
Basemant room under reception-I heard steps above my head all night long.Dark.
Helpful and friendly staff, not far from the underground station, good value for money
Wifi only in public areas and only at daytime
I stayed here as I had an assessment day at Holloway prison. I realised I forgot a piece of paper and the member of staff allowed me to use their printer to re print. just a little touch that they didn't have to do but helped me loads.
The straff was very nice and friendly. The hotel was easy to access and the room hade a great wiew and hade alot of space. A great place to stay at a great price!
The water in the shower was cold.
Kentish Town is quite peaceful, our stay wasn't interrupted by any noise from outside. Staff was nice and cordial, room was tiny but cosy, English breakfast was quite satisfying. The bed was very soft and bouncy, which is GREAT for certain things...
...but for sleeping I would have preferred a medium hard bed with better pillows (these were way too soft). Continental breakfast is toast only and then a selection of spreads or corn flakes and whatnot you can take anyways when ordering an English breakfast. We would have expected a selection of salami, pickles, etc. under "continental" breakfast. But, not really such a big minus. We were not hungry. :)
friendly staff and clean room. Basic and good for one nite .
was really hot n stuffy in room , so didnt sleep that well. Bed not that comfortable also.
Breakfast was great, staff very helpful
Bathroom pokey with low water pressure
Location & breakfast good we asked & recd a discount due to comments across the page
noise of scaffolding being removed & noise of scaffolders on mobile phone beneath window general filth of the gardenarea if you call it a garden area - more like a dump
Really awful hotel. Arrived late in the evening. Cancelled the rest of the booking and left as soon as possible next morning
Friendly obliging staff.Full English breakfast, clean, value for money.Fairly close to Tufnell Park underground station.Close to 390 bus route direct to Oxford Street.
Could do with a lick of paint.
The staff were super friendly and the rooms were clean. Great budget stay
My room was fairly near the front lobby and I was kept away until 2am by slamming doors, people coming in/out, and others having loud conversations with the staff
It was waking distance from finsbury park (wireless festival) but not the nicest walk!
It was cold it was dingy as a couple of 23 year old girls i disnt feel very safe anyone could have just ask for our key room number and gotten into our room!! The sheets were dirty on the bed the walls are very thin so you cant even talk without being complained about you can also here everyone elses sleeping habits! The toilet and shower are in the cupboard the shower you have to run around in to get wet no point in even having a shower! No full length mirror! Scafolding right outside our room and window didnt shut properly so anyone could have got in! Not the best experience of my life!
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Bedlinen and towels were clean; beds comfortable; the TV worked. Breakfast was excellent - cooked swiftly, plenty of it, plenty of toast and cereal too. Hotel is conveniently situated a ten minute walk from Tufnell Park tube. Very reasonable for the low price.
The building and furnishings are rather tatty and dingy, but this was the only drawback as far as we were concerned.
Very friendly staff with good knowledge of the area and very willing to help. The room was basic, but suited our needs. Shared bathroom was clean. English breakfast was nice enough.
Very noisy- floorboards above our room creaked all night long plus construction workers decided to start work at 7.30am.
Very friendly, welcoming staff and helped with suggestions on travel to our venue. Shared bathroom was not a problem and room was equipped with the essentials.
Breakfast could of stayed on until a bit later and more than one pillow would of been perfect!
Staff at reception, helpful
Room had a bad odour! The shower had mould in it! There was a kettle but no cups!
Location was very close to where I needed to be.
Room needs to be smarted up, a lick of paint would not go a miss. None of the wall mounted lights worked. Could not open the window in the bathroom and the one in the room only open 3 inches at the bottom. Furniture in the room looks tired, new TV was the one plus. 1 small hand towel to use in the shower and a very small bar of soap.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Everyone was pleasant and courteous. They did more than was expected of them and there was no fuss. I liked the neighborhood, it's close to Hampstead Heath and Parliament Hill. You can walk to Kentish Town and there are great walks in the north part of London.
The place is a pit. The rooms are small, the bathrooms are small, the place itself is tired. I was ready to leave the first day, but I stayed even though my bathroom at home is bigger than the room.
