Room was very good and clean. The hotel was walking distance from the centre. At the desk was a girl who could't care less.

Helpful staff, good breakfast, nice big clean room and comfortable bed, fast hassle free check in/out. Decor is quite dated and tired looking. Could really do with modernization.

Good location. Very cold bathroom because it had no heating there; there was a warning sign in the bathroom - "Our sensors are very sensible so please close the bathroom door while showering" - I think the sensors are just old, not "sensible".

It is a very good hotel, located at the heart of the city. Very near to the railway station and the Dundee University as well as city centre. The get up of the room can be changed to make more space for movement and there should be arrangement to keep the suitcase/strolly and use it.

Nothing This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my life. Apart from the room itself, which was reasonabe, the hotel was dirty, smelt absolutely terrible and was thouroughly revolting. The chairs in the bar/restaurant were disgustingly filthy and threadbare and everything about the place was awful. Our room was on the lower ground floor and backed onto the car park. Both sash windows had broken locks and could easily have been accessed from outside. I shall be complaining to Best Western and will never visit one of their hotels again.

Lovely clean warm rooms. Your options do not allow the possibility of saying if travel was with an elderly person. However I was with my mother aged 82 for whom the comfort and ease of access was important. She was delighted with the hotel too. But please see our only criticism below. Breakfast was very good apart from the coffee. Since a huge choice of really good espresso coffee is widely available in any high street, the rather weak filter variety on offer in the hotel was disappointing.

The view towards the river was quite impressive. The room was very nice - I had a double room all for myself. Breakfast was good though not outstanding. Tv set was a bit old with clumsy controls.

It was good and clean, staff were great. I chose it because of its location and it was fine. They must have good noise protection because the parties were not obvious and the dca nearby (on a Saturday night), though a bit 'thumping' was almost inaudible. As an older hotel, there was a mild 'smell' but certainly not invasive. The parties were a bit of a shock, but I was not distrubed by their noise

Good location. Excellent breakfast. Accepting dogs in rooms. Dundee is a nightmare with roadworks at present so leave plenty of time to find the hotel. Best advice is turn left at the second roundabout, take next right and you are on the road to the hotel. It saves having to go over the Tay bridge by mistake! The room was very small especially with a dog. We accept that dogs should not be allowed in public rooms but there is space in the lobby to have a pet downstairs to have a drink after dinner. This was conceeded and we then had a happy pet.

We chose it because it is pet friendly and yet central for shopping. Excellent location and staff. Building picturesque and food excellent. Central for shops but also fantastic views of Tay Bridge and estuary. Would definitely stay there again. Nothing!
