Accepting that all that is on offer is the room as there are no dining facilities or lounge everything was as good as described and we could have wished for. A friendly owner and good clean facilities and a wonderful view from our room.

rob is a fantastic host - room was fabulous we had ground floor over looking the sea - lovely bathroom - very comfy clean bed - would definetly recommend to others - free parking big plus in scarborough aswell - good price for what we got

Big room. Huge bed. Very clean facilities. Appreciated the fridge and the milk!! Excellent host. Very good location for both beach and shops.

Maybe consider using debit card facilities instead of just cash.

Hospitality, Rob the owner was a perfect host nothing was too much bother, location, panaramic views, room cleanliness, size, that it was room only so it was nice to wake up and just take it easy and have breakfast when you wanted (tea/coffee facillities and fridge provided in room and places to eat at the north bay) why get up early when you do it 5-6 times a week!

Only thing is there is no lift (rooms are on 3 floors) but couldn;'t fault anything, will definatley be going back

Loved every minute of our stay-It was perfect for our needs We had a great view over the |North Bay. With Supermarket Bakery Cafe and lovely Chinese Restaurant all just around the corner - we really enjoyed our stay. Great for Walking and not forgetting the Shopping. Would stay once again in Scarbourgh and the Queenscliffe

The hotel was only a short walk from the town, the rooms ware very clean & quite large rooms with a lovely bathroom, had one little problem with shower but that was soon put right by the manager. We both had a very pleasant stay there & will stay there again.

Large modern room. King size bed, modern bathroom with heated towel rail. Even had all hand rails and folding seating in the shower for anyone with disabilities. Bar fridge where there was the comfort of making tea and coffee. A very nice gesture was finding milk in the fridge, which we have never experienced before. Lots of the little extra "niceties", such as comfortable leather chairs with foot stools. Swivel to look out at the ocean or turn towards the TV. We had full ocean view from our windows. Flat screen TV mounted on wall, easily positioned to your viewing location. Very private, we saw Robert on arrival, he walked us through the room to point out all the features, handed us the key and then away he went! But not before letting us know that if we needed anything, just call! We enjoyed having the fridge in the room for having a lite breakfast in the morning before setting out for the day, OJ, coffee and cereal. Then go for walks by the ocean and call in to one of the many convenient locations (within a 10 mins walk from our hotel) for a full English breakfast around 11:00am. This was another nice touch for us, as we were not staying in the same environment each day for our meals, but able to check out other places around town. Another great thing for us, was finding out that there is a hotel opposite the Railway station where you can leave your luggage until 6:00pm, for 10 pounds per case. This was great for us, as we were not leaving until 6:45pm train. So we had the freedom to continue enjoying the walks and ocean view, tour the castle. The Railway Station informed us of this location, unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the hotel! Very convenient location, 10 mins. walk in to town center, 10mins. walk to Peasholm Park, 15 mins. walk to tour the Castle. Great beach, enormous. Lots of mixture in the age group of people on vacation there in Scarborough

Superb top class clean rooms,great shower and having fridge in room with fresh milk is a lovely touch,room also had a safe and felt very secure.Location is good,just a short walk in to Town.Rob the host was very welcoming,friendly and helpful.You will be hard pressed to find anywhere to stay of this quality and price in Scarborough.Felt sorry to leave after a four night stay in August,with 3 friends,and all four of us would definitely like to stay again,highly recommend this Hotel.

On site parking is a bit small,but Rob supplied off street parking tickets so wasn't t really a problem

Not only was the room exceptionally clean, it was modern, spacious and provided everything that we needed. From the terrific sea view to the bracket mounted flat screen tv, everything was excellent. The hotel's location suited us perfectly. Both the north and south bays were within easy reach and all local attractions were accessable. I really don't have a bad word to sy about this hotel.

Absolutely brilliant. Clean accomodation, the fridge in the room is a brilliant idea and he offered us wine or pint glasses so we could have our own drinks on an evening which was lovely. room was clean, modern, blue ray player and lcd tv, leather chairs, felt 5*! bathroom also beautiful and clean. best thing was the view, was breath taking and no extra for a sea view unlike most places! could watch the sea from my bed, couldn't have asked for more. North bay is lovely and quiet, and not a long walk from south bay either. fabulous!

My girlfriend and I stopped in Scarborough for a two night seaside getaway and found the Queenscliffe Hotel to be ideal. Really nice friendly owner, large rooms with comfortable super king size bed, great location right on the front of Scarborough's quieter North Bay but only a few minutes walk away from the town center, castle and the South Bay. Clean spacious rooms with leather chairs, a wall mounted flatscreen freeview TV & a DVD player which was great for chilling out, also nice ensuite shower room. A home from home & reasonabley priced. Please note, this hotel does not do breakfast or dinner but there is a fridge in each room (as well as tea&coffee) to keep milk & snacks etc which was fine by us as there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

Rien de particulier - pas de petit déjeuné ni d'ascenseur mais c'est noté dans la description de l'hôtel.

Queenscliffe has a wonderful cliff-top position. The sea views are amazing. The rooms are excelltn - they're comfortable, warm and modern, and the owner is welcoming and very helpful with local information.

Lack of any local information in the rooms, although you could ask the owner. No details of wifi displayed in the room. We returned late one night and knew there was wifi but the owner was out so we couldn't use it. A notice in the room would have solved this. Also (my fault) I didn't read the small print and assumed that breakfast was included. I learned not to assume!

The two night stay was perfect from start to finish. Made extremely welcome on arrival, room and facilities were of excellent standard, spotlessly clean and comfortable and everything required was provided, nothing was omitted. Looking forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended.
