small, friendly hotel

single room I was given was a bit on the small side and located in the cellar with a view on a tiny inner yard

The staff were very friendly and attentive, bringing tea to the room upon arrival and offering us advice and directions where necessary. The room was excellent, in a beautiful setting, and extra little touches, such as dressing gowns enhanced the visit.

The breakfast seemed a little disorganised - there did not seem to be enough staff to handle the demand, which meant that tables were not cleared for new diners and some of the food was not automatically replenished.

The hotel was close to the tube and several museums and shops. The hotel staff, especially Lawrence, were very helpful about getting around, etc.

there was re-furbishment going on which resulted in a lot of noise in our room from 8am

The location was perfect for the Royal Albert Hall and other great London venues.

地下鉄駅からも近く、部屋も綺麗でした。スタッフも親切。次回も利用したいと思います。
