The quiet The easy parking
Good choice of Evening meal, I opted for scallops with black pudding and crispy bacon, followed by a tender steak and chips. Full english breakfast included
The lighting - it was all energy saving bulbs which was good, but made the bathroom very dark
the room was really comfortable and the staff were friendly
this place is situated in the middle of nowhere
Comfort, the best night's sleep on my recent business trip, nice room, good food, friendly staff, nice quiet place to stay. evening meal and breakfast were good quality and served hot.
Just a bit isolated but OK for one night.
Staff always friendly and welcoming. Will do all they can to help.
They are obviously working under pressure and cuts. We have stayed at the same place for several years and have watched it getting more tired. This is not the fault of the staff but of the limitations put on them by the company.
Everything especially Beverley's warm welcome
The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and obviously hadnt been cleaned and the breakfast in the morning was appalling.
Location is good. Ideal for Palmersport but why don't Palmersport create their own hotel on site???? Only real options are in Bedford.
Rooms are fair and the bed comfortable enough. Bathroom cramped and is just not quality. Bar is pretty mediocre. Try the Falcon down the road for a meal or drink, much more preferable.
The room was clean and had a lovely old world feel to it, with oak beams and complimenting decor it was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with excellent and friendly service.
We were kept waiting at check in despite being a bit pushed for time, by a receptionist who appeared to be barman and waiter as well. The double bed was small, just four feet wide and I am quite large and happiest in a king size but a normal size double is usually adequate.
Nice quite location despite being on themain A6 and friendly atmosphere
Fab atmosphere quiet location comfy bed and great food what more could you ask
Booking.com actually didn't make the reservation but fortunately they still managed to fit us in albeit a double not twin room
Excellent location for our day out.. Great value and good staff. Great value meal deals. Recommend to all normal humans.
Nothing. Not walking distance to alternative places but not a problem as location and food good.
Very friendly staff making it a pleasure to stay there
This is a great hotel, we needed to be at a venue for the weekend and it less that 6 miles away, staff were very helpful and accomodating, we ate at the hotel on Saturday evening the meal was good, breakfast was too. We will certanly use the Queens Head again,
The fact that we had to leave and not able to have a Sunday Lunch.
Quiet rooms, Reasonable prices for food/drink, Bev and staff extremely welcoming and friendly. Good outside facilities for smokers. Breakfast good
Price of food
Poor wifi and mobile phone reception
Good breakfast, the room was fine and beds were comfy.
The English style Hotel
Staff Location Resturant/Bar
In room 3.1 to 3 needs better lighting ande maybe a lighter wall colour . Very very dark
I did not stay there as unfortunately, due to family sickness we were unable to go. I am very disappointed that we were unable to obtain a refund from the hotel even though my son went there and explained the circumstances.
No complaints Comfortable stay, plenty of choice for breakfast, evening menu looked good too. Manger was very nice and acommadating.
Staff very helpful good food
small double bed and use of eco light bulbs made room very dim
Milton Ernest is a charming village and I thoroughly enjoyed the self guided walk using the leaflet at hotel. Garden centre well worth a visit, as is the church.
Food was only adequate. People smoking below the room meant smoke drifting in through open window - very unpleasant.
friendly staff and very comfy beds.
very disappointing when arrived and saw it, compared to the pics on the internet; rather old and tacky decor downstairs, especially the dining area; very uninviting dining room; very limited menu for evening meal and not particularly nice food; on busy main road (though bedroom was behind and so quiet enough); room fine but windows required mending as no way to fix them open; overall I wouldn't recommend it.
