Breakfast was quick, efficient and well cooked. The rooms were tired .looking ; the windows didn't close properly and we had to ask for a second towel in a twin bedded room.

Excellent value for money, lovely accomodating staff and the room was excellent value for money...with a bath, not just a shower, which is always good. Breakfast was very good. We were visiting friends who were having a party in the next village so knew very little about the area. Had a great walk across the fields in the morning to retrieve the car, lovely countryside. Would highly recommend this pub/hotel All good.

The hotel was in the perfect location for visiting my brother and nephews who I had not seen for 2 years. Unfortunately our reunion was spoilt by the attitude of the staff in the restaurant which was off hand bordering on hostile. They may have the excuse of working very long hours for low pay but their attitude will put people off staying there. I was told I had to have breakfast by 9.30 even though it said 12.00 on the literature in my room. My room was perfect but my stay was spoilt by the unfriendly staff.

Staff prompt, friendly and effective. Room clean. Bed comfortable. Excellent value. Bathroom and fittings had slightly 'outdated' feel. Shower head damaged (but not beyond use). None of these significant considering the price.

The people are great, the chef can't cook steak! The room was tired, the shower head fell off repeatedly. This place could be really good if someone put some trust in their staff and spent some money on it. Would I stay there again? Absolutely!

Located conveniently to Beford Autodrome for trackdays & events. Fine old English pub in village. Very quiet and peacefuk overnight. Staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurant on site good food but very heavily booked up. Price reasonable. Plenty of parking on site, but could do with a garge for motorbikes. Breakfast only starts at 8.30am. It would be more helpful if it was 7.00am or earlier.

It was in the right location for our short break. We were doing a local Flowrider experiance. It was also close enough to a large shopping centre to fill in time before experiance. The food was nice and the staff work friendly.

We found the hotel one of the friendliest hotels that we have stayed at for a very long time. Both Bev and Jamie were helpful nothing appeared to be to much trouble for them. We shall be returning next year.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good food reasonably priced.Value for money at £60.00 per night for a double room. Would not have wanted to have paid anymore. Bathroom was on the small side. Reading other reviews there are other complaints about the leaking shower head. Maybe you should be investing in a new head.

Great value for money, would stay again. Very friendly and polite staff. If I could find anything to complain about, it would be very trivial. The breakfast menu stated 2 x rashers of bacon,we only got one. As it seemed so trivial and we thought we recieved excellent value for money, I did not thinlk it was worth mentioning.

Absolutely fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Queens Head. We found the staff warm, friendly and very accomodating. Anything we needed was catered for, with no trouble. Even when we got confused over breakfast times and arrived late, it wasn't a problem, no fuss was made and we had a lovely (huge) breakfast! Would definately stay there again! Absolutely nothing.
