pool, and comfort of the room
I liked that we brought our own champagne and they supplied us with a bucket and ice to put it in. The room that we had was huge, and such value for money, so much space.
Excellent room and view for the price we paid.
A lift for patrons arriving full of cleaning equipment; great that I know you're cleaning somewhere, but what about the fact that I need the lift? Small but the only negative so felt it was necessary for balance.
Top floor bedroom with ahaf decent view of the town
Staff are very polite and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable
Could have done with a fridge in room
We stayed in a Tower Suite on 4th Floor and the view was fantastic and the room was a great size with a brilliant size bathroom too and corner bath. Staff were really nice and helpful.
Bed was a bit soft and could have been bigger for the size of room and the sofa was a little tired.there was a bit of a draught too but is was very windy all weekend. We thought that the call to the room at 11.02 to make sure we were checking out was a little much specially considering the queue at reception when we got there and we had paid nearly £500 for 2 nights!
The leisure centre was nice, though it was quite busy when we went down.
Atrocious WI-FI and wasn't the luxurious stay I expected.
The breakfast was cold due to possibly the plates were very cold The tea and coffee were also cold no one asked if we wanted fresh tea or coffee
The Queens is in the very heart of Brighton, magnificent sea views and just around the corner from the Lanes bars and restaurants. I go there at least 3 times a year to write, relax and retreat.
Unreliable internet connection in the room. Need to very the menu and pay more attention to the presentation of the dishes. A ramikin full of capers does not look attrative!
Staff, location and cleanliness and breakfast
The fact I couldn't open a window ... Would have been very hot in summer.
the hotel was conveniently placed, the staff very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious.
Location was perfect, twin room which was huge, beds very comfortable and breakfast lovely.
I didn't have a bad experience, but feel only let down to this hotel is it could really do with a lick of paint and the spa facilities a bit dark and smelt very damp.
It was really great! The room is amazing. The sea view is just stunning. Me and my boyfriend finally had an opportunity to relax and forget about our busy lives for a moment.
Fantastic hotel and staff. Hoping to go back real soon
The staff were friendly the location was perfect however very windy and there were plenty of things to do in the evening
I wish they had a jacuzzi
The Bistro was excellent and the staff very helpful.
Hotel in need of an update. Great view would have been better with clean windows.
limited breakfast choices for a vegetarian
The size and view of room.
Hotel in general
Payed to stay with sea view!. Don't do it !! If the night club shshh is playing you will not sleep!! Shame there's no noise control or triple glazing to the front windows .
The pool and location
My window was next to the gentlemen club very noisy coudent sleep i coudent really see the sea from my room and the wi fi dident work at all toilet blocked it self
location to the university and we had great cocktails
wifi not very good in the bedroom (fourth floor)
The location is perfect for the pier, lanes and the aquarium. There are restaurants nearby and the car park in The Lanes is very close. The room itself was clean and spacious.
Parking is not available at the hotel but there are a few options close by. It's not cheap at £25 for 24 hours.I think the hotel could provide a discounted rate arrangement with the Lanes car park. This would be a good comprise as you do expect some parking when visiting a hotel.
Excellent location and very large and comfortable room. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The bathroom was small (especially given the size of the room) and there was no in-room safe. Wi-fi didn't work.
The location was 5 minutes from the pier and incredible restaurants and bars surrounded the hotel. All the staff we encountered we very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome and completely at ease.
If your after a quiet weekend possibly don't choose this hotel.. It had very relaxing facilities but there is not double glazing on the room windows so noise at night is fairly loud- but too be expected from such a central location.
Not much the food is good and the bar is nice in the evening
Room was terrible and old bed was a small double if that and staff were rude upon asking for a change of room after paying £300 pound was just fobbed off
