The Staff. The sea view and the spacious room. The bed was clean and comfortable as were towels although there was the odd hole.
Shabby furnishings. The Bathroom had deposits of mould on the bath sealant and the fittings were worn, loose and had seen better days.
Decor, room, ambience of hotel public rooms, reception staff very helpful.
Noise at night from locals on beach. Window was stuck open and could not move it either way.
The hotel was perfectly situated we caught the train as parking is a nightmare in Brighton we strolled from the station and enjoyed coffee on the way. The hotel was lovely everybody really helpful and friendly. The room was amazing the sea view was worth paying extra. The breakfast was included and very enjoyable. We enjoyed everything about our stay.
No negatives at all.
The location of the Queens Hotel is wonderful, overlooking the sea and beach, between the pier and carousel. The staff were all excellent; very polite, attentive and helpful. We will definitely go back.
The swimming pool area could do with updating or extending. On first appearances it looks huge! But it has made miraculous use of mirrors!
Good service helpful staff. Nice room
Too noisy and not that valuable !
Location, friendly helpful receptionist
The toilet would not flush and having screaming children close by
No air con in double so was really hot Breakfast was Cold Toliet in Room T1 doesn't flush properly so had to use the kettle to refill Furniture looks like it was from a second hand charity shop and needs replacing Carpet thead bear and need replacing. Cleanliness in the spa and the Hotel need attention
Got this as a cheap one night option. Lovely big room with a side view of the pier I guess we got lucky. Staff were excellent, breakfast buffet style and fine, eat alll you like. Used pool facilities, no hassle no fuss. Seemed like a really well run hotel would recommend to anyone.
It is appointed on the sea front, and I can appreciate at a dfferent time there could have been a lot of street noise. However for its location this is an excellent choice of hotel...enjoy
The location is perfect, staff is very nice. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Highly recommend.
Room was not done on our second day at 3 pm, after leaving a post requesting the room was to be cleaned.
Very tired furniture, very small bed. Dust, and damaged woodwork, in bedroom cupboard. Damaged shower screen, about to fall off its hinges. Insufficient space for guests at a very average breakfast.
The staff, without exception, were extremely polite, helpful, caring and always smiling. Dinner and both breakfasts were excellent and re-filling our coffee cups was prompt. I would certainly recommend the hotel and hope to have an opportunity of another visit.
I've racked my brains and cannot think of anything I didn't like!
Location perfect and staff were nice
Very old , terrible bed, bad breakfast and noisy a lot
the bed is small especially for a long couples , some machines in the gym need renewe and theinternet
Convenience and Quiet with Sea View Good Gym and pool
Breakfast started at 8am and I had to be in a meeting at 8am. However they helpfully provided a couple of warm croissants and coffee and fruit.
Smelly room ,noisy , windows not clean, poor and cold breakfast , not very good for parking , over priced , decor in poor state , right next door to nightclubs . We'll never stay here again!
Nice check in Pleasant room nice view Ok ish breakfast
Hotel tired Grubby Downstairs toilet Attention to detail at breakfast Hot
Nice hotel , great location, friendly staff & really enjoyed the dinner & cocktails ...
Sad that a sea view upgrade not available ....
Location is good,sea front.
Wifi is weak. Hotel is very old and not everything in room function well. We can hear our neighbour sneezing/talking in the next room. We have to carry our heavy luggages down and up few steps to go to lift during check in and out.
Excellent location near to The Lanes and Brighton Pier. Good value. Nice bar/ restaurant. Breakfast fine and staff will provide vegetarian option on request.
Noisy- stayed on a Monday night and nightclub opposite room had student night- noise till 4am- you need to book a sea view room at the front of the hotel and a high floor or you will get no sleep at all!
The t4 suite was fantastic . Great views of the pier. Great room plenty of space to relax
Bathroom in need of some tlc dudnt like the bright colour. In need of a calming colour to relax with.
Excellent location and very helpful polite staff. Breakfast enjoyable. Sea view fantastic, sat in large airy bedroom and admired lights of pier and listened to the sound of waves and gulls! What more could you want. As two retired ladies we could a walk everywhere from here!
Bathroom a little grubby and changing facilities for the spa could really do with some improvement. Pool love.yvthough and spotlessly clean.
The hotel kindly upgraded to a family suite - almost like having your own exclusive flat. Very nice indeed
Only the quality of the coffee at breakfast I guess
long wait for our dinner.it arrived after an hour
