the fact that it was central to the beach, pier, and the lanes shopping the fact that we booked a non smoking room and it reeked of stale cigarettes, the hotel charges £50 for cleaning a room to patrons but they clearly did not clean this room inbetween patrons properly. The standard of the room was not to the standard of the charge. |

The breakfast service was pretty poor. I enjoyed the buffet style but the restaurant is too small for the size of the hotel |

Relaxing atmosphere. Nice staff and reasonable price. Nice swimming pool and good to have sauna and gym! In all a very nice stay, plus the weather was good. hot water took a little while to come through. |

The breakfast was terrible. Everything was very over-cooked and dry, and the selection was quite limited for a hotel at this price. |

The location , being very close to both the city centre and right on the seafront. The Public areas of the hotel were beautifully decorated, with a very welcoming bar and restaurant area i thought the decor in the room a little tired. The exterior of the hotel also looked in need of a lick of paint. |

Staff friendly and helpful. Good spa in the basement, friendly staff there too. Excellent breakfast hours at the weekend, up to 11am. Well situated hotel. Lavatory did no function very well in my bathroom, the room carpet didn't look too clean; and it was a noisy outside |

our room was opposite night clubs and bars (which we was'nt told about) so first night we got hardly any sleep. Went to reception the next morning and they were very good and moved us to a quieter room, which was very good. |

Friendly, welcoming reception staff. Received a free upgrade to executive, sea view room. Very comfortable bed and huge room. Great breakfast.Great location near to the pier and bar/restaurants. Would definately stay here again. Parking a problem - queued for 1 hour to get into car park with a charge of £15.00. Steam and sauna not near the pool and had to walk through the gym to get from one to the other. Alot of noise from nearby bars late at night. |

It was an idea location at an affordible price. The staff were friendly and the facilities were very good. The fact you can walk out the front of the hotel, straight onto the beach is definately a great feature! |

The view and size of our room - executive suite - was fantastic. The reception staff where very helpful. Location excellent. The breakfast service was slow - had to ask for dishes to be refilled - slow in coming. |

location was perfect on the sea front, so easy for the promenade and pier etc, but also very close to the shopping area and restaurants. Unfortunately it has no car park, but this is common with hotels in Brighton. There is a car park nearby but gets very busy due to proximity of shops. |

Prompt service. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. The room looked plain, not much of an ambiance. The sink in the bathroom is cracked. Bathroom too small. There was a stain in one of the towel. Cooked breakfast tasted bland. Orange juice did not taste nice. |
