This 4-star luxury hotel looks out over Brighton seafront and is close to the shops and city center. The grand Victorian building has large rooms, a restaurant and a fitness center with indoor pool.
Score from 971 reviews Good
bedrooms too hot communal furniture, fitness area, swimming pool and changing area need replacing or a face lift
Rooms were decent Food was average Restaraunt is great Staff were friendly Location is good Beds were comfy Overall very good
Rooms at back of hotel were noisy in early hours of morning with bars and clubs Wifi didnt work on 4th floor No plugs next to beds
We had to move rooms after 1st night due to being so noisy outside. Both rooms were very small and tired looking and quite expensive for what you get. We would not stay here again.
Indifferent breakfast Indifferent staff Expensive local parking A bit tired and run down
Pool Gym Location View
bed very comfortabe good breakfast lovely to be able to have a swim very clean
as we had a sea facing room was very noisy at night when trying to sleep from traffic and people coming out of clubs in early hours coud do with double glazing windows
Hotel in a convienent spot.
Noisy, lack of attention to detail-cleanliness in dining room. Room very tired, condition of furniture, decor and bathroom.
Excellent location all the major places to visit are close at hand. The staff were helpful and polite. The hotel had character
No parking available and the nearest car park was full. The noise at 3.00 a.m. from outside - not the hotels fault. The WiFi was weak. Breakfast choice was limited
The location is perfect as it is just across the beach and the most entertaining place in Brighton (Brighton Pier)
So many steps/stairs along the way to the room. No AC in the room while it was very hot during summer.
Staff was very helpful, nice place to stay, would stay again but in a different room, loved the breakfast, very clean and tidy.
The bed, was to hard, to me my room was not the same as the one in the picture which was in your brochure, shower was rubbish, could not get good wifi.
Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff and the spa facilities were extremely good value for money! Very clean and a very comfortable bed!
Very bad nights sleep as our room backed onto a nightclub and was kept up by screaming drunk people, bit of a shame as everything was really lovely about the location of the hotel. Didn't have air conditioning which was a shame and our radiators didn't work! Room 114.
My husband and I stayed at queens on mid week break, nice & clean & comfortable. Staff helpful, breakfast was delicious. In all we had a great stay and would return again and recommend.
The hotel was nice and our room was amazing - view over the sea and pier - we paid extra for this. The restaurant staff were friendly and the beauty spa was excellent.
Health club disappointing due to poor changing facilities and having to walk back thru the gym and reception to get in the pool. Parking expensive.
Really hard to find parking!
Everything.Staff very good!
Wifi in the room
Location Staff Rooms
Nothing to dislike
Large room, comfy beds Facilities ... gym and swimming pool Nice breakfast
Room very stuffy Decor a little tired
Close to beach, pier bars and clubs. Hotel had all facilites needed for the long bank holiday weekend. Food was great, breakfast especially! View from table was lovely Freindly polite staff. Good clean large size twin room. beds comfy
Furniture in room little tired. Twin beds moved about quite a lot when sat on them. Not enough tea, coffe milk etc - but then never is in any hotel. Staff polite but not overly attentive as only noticed on last day you could have poached eggs! Presume had to ask. No signage to lift on door from corridor and inadequte fire escape signs
Excellent pool in basement. Staff very friendly, went out of their way to accommodate our baby.
Lack of parking on site. Towels too small. Bath difficult to get out of as so deep.
The location for shops and beach
Very close to noisy nightclub/bar. Loud music and can hear voices outside till 3am. Very expensive for a very average hotel. Wifi didn't work on 4th floor.
Location - on seafront, close to shops, restaurants & facilities...
Highly experienced traveller; but a last-minute booking, hélas. Sub-standard pool hygiene (son got vomiting bug + fever + conjunctivitis - all in 5 days - with the final half-day spent in doctor's rooms etc., ô what a joy) Wifi rarely worked in room Room was cold (in mid-August), with no means of heating Poor sound insulation for sea front rooms - awakened each night by noisy drunks leaving bars & nightclubs Tacky clientele Poor value for money, in view of all the above. General rating: 5-star in Kinshasa, 3-star anywhere else
The view from the room was outstanding and was the best feature about it. There was every facility that you would need in a hotel room. The location of the hotel was really convienant for all of the main attractions. The range of food available at breakfast was good an there was plenty available.
The main negative for the hotel is that there is no parking and the majority of the car parks are ridiculously priced, so I would recommend not driving. As it was a buffet some of the breakfast items where colder than you would have expected them to be. I also wasn't expecting to have to toast my own toast. The staff were prompt finding you a table, but weren't very approachable.
staff pool room view position excellent stay
a bit faded in parts
Excellent room service. Fantatic location. Good breakfast but could be better.
Room was facing couple of pubs so it was noisy during the night.
Friendly staff on arrival made me feel welcome. No hassle or issues, room was large, clean, comfortable with good natural lighting
The breakfast could have been better, it was the only little thing that could be improved
